with purse's newly added support for Amazon.mx wish lists, We can shop throughout mexico and latin america...

While I am happy that Mexicans can utilize bitcoin as payment method for their Amazon it is still via using satellite bitcoin service.
I hope Amazon  is secretly thinking about adopting Bitcoin payments - Steam, Overstock, Newegg had not problem with it.

That is good news for mexican people. I don't know if there is a large number of Bitcoin users in Mexico and Latin America in general but this shows a progress in providing services and things like this should have been done for all parts of the world long time ago.

Yes brother, For additional info, bcoin now live on purse wallets. Bcoin is only the first step in providing innovative new use cases for bitcoin to their users.

I have also received email regarding this that purse wallets now have bcoin. But when looking at what is bcoin actually found that it is just a way to run full node in browser. Did i miss something or any explanation how this can be good for purse users?  ::)

Amazon itself is not accepting bitcoins mate, you are getting this wrong, there is another service or website called purse.io which helps you buy products from amazon and pay with bitcoins and that website have now added support for amazon.mx which is for mexico.
We hope amazon itself accepts bitcoin soon so that we don't need to use any other services for shopping with them.

Once I wanted to sell my amazon giftcard balance on purse, there were discounts as high as 50%... I changed my mind and decided to keep my money instead. I'm not losing all that for bitcoins... not that I had much anyway... less than $40. ;D

Yeah  I also received that newsletter in my email about that deveopment for supporting their service in Mexico but we want Purse to do the needful and extend thier support to as many countries or continents as they can because many people will be interested in buying stuff from Amaon through them. Hope they will implement that also very soon.

Even now the users from other countries too can make a shopping for the mexican purse website, because from any part we can use bitcoin as it has go the universal acceptance. Only thing is that we need to find a local friend or a packing service provider to deliver their products. Amazon's service  through purse is really a good initiation to support bitcoin.

I don't understand though how they can say you save 10%-15% off just  for paying with bitcoin. Has anyone any experience on this ?

Nope buddy even I haven't experience about this, However I received the mail from purse team. So as much I am spreading this news at here in the forum and in my facebook page. Luckily we may get some good adoption by this. ;)

Doing that would put them at even more of an advantage compared to paypal and eBay, who have yet to come to their senses and off their high horses and accept bitcoin as a currency. ::)
