Some PascalCoin users think that "PascalCoin" is not a good name... and I want to know your opinion.

I quite like the name already, describes a crypto currency in pascal.

Change it to HarambeCoin. I guarantee you will see a surge in price. 100% guarantee not a chance it couldn't do better than it is now.

Keep the name of Pascal Coin, because it is look good and the name is like programming language, and in my opinion for the developer of altcoins must be always updating and building trusting it is not scam coin to the comunity.

I like what others suggested before. Drop the "coin"  suffix from your name and keep "Pascal" and then you will be able to use ticker PSL.
As far as I am aware there is not coin currently using PSL as its ticker.

Nope, the harambe coins are already there, we need to find some other.

But what the purpose of this thread op? if some of your users are not interested with your coin name, just let them taking some of their minutes for giving any ideas for you.

Contrary to what other people are saying here, I think you should keep the coin suffix.
"Pascal" is too generic, making searching for it hard, adding coin makes it obvious you're referring to the cryptocurrency.
Taking away the coin suffix will also have to make people search for two things as it is known as "Pascalcoin" for the time being.
I frequent the Burstcoin community and it has the same problem, to search for Burst I have to use both "Burst" and "Burstcoin" as my search terms.

Yes there is such a band, and i like them. It was a nightmare to search for them back then.
They have correct it now  :) Just put X in the in google search and you will see.
Or it is me that google knows me and it sets this as my first result http://www.xtheband.com/

I like Pascal Coin but honestly if you search Pascal you usually get alot of Nvidia references in your returns.

If you search "Pascal Coin" you get more specific information.

So on one hand I like the idea/vision of dropping "coin" from the name but on the other hand, Pascal alone is too generic.

If keeping coin in the name, I say keep "Pascal Coin"

If dropping coin in the name or you find Pascal to be too dated of a name, I say find a new name.

Totally agree! In my opinion, you should keep "PascalCoin". I don't even understand why would you be thinking on a name change in the first place ;)

How about PAS or XPC for the ticker?

Pascalcoin is better than some coin names I have seen e.g: Titcoin, PEPEcash, Dopecoin and the likes.

Actually i don't understand why you want change the name of Pascal Coin, what do plan in the future? But in my opinion you should not change it, because if you change it, that is like you don't have any comitment for building the coin.

NOTE: I don't want to change the name, but some users that wants to collaborate told me about this possibility... I just polled here for community debate

But, viewing results, name will not change: PascalCoin is the official name.

We also need a ticker

My proposal is:
- PASC for Pascal Coins
- PASA for Pascal Accounts (yes... they can be tradded too)

I was only a small time miner on PascalCoin early on, but I think the name is good. Sure you could change it, just like Xcoin became Darkcoin and then Dash, but I don't see any strong arguments that some other name would be a larger benefit to Pascalcoin.

I'd say just keep the name unless there are legal reasons not to.
Just going with Pascal sounds good to me as well. Either Pascal or PascalCoin are good names for this asset!

I also agree,there's no one claiming that they have the rights to the word PascalCoin,it can also differentiate it from all the other pascal reference in the internet,it already established a name for it,so why changing ..
