i think it will rise because he lately noted in her previous interview that he will support the legality of bitcoin if she won in the election. Look at coindesk article, i think that is the site where i saw that article and some user posted here about that.

Don't think anything is really going to happen, except if people speculate on what they think should happen.  And I honestly don't think Trump has a chance.  Anyone with half a brain should be able to see he would be toxic to the US.  Stranger things have happened, though, and you can't underestimate the stupidity of the American public.

I absolutely detest politics, but I'm going to be glued to the TV tomorrow.  This is history in the making.  Either we get the 1st female president or we get a psychopath unlike we've ever seen before in American politics.  Gonna be interesting.

Hillary as president means that markets will remains mostly the same, she is backed by Wall Street, big finance and business and represents status quo.
Trump's win will come at first with fear and uncertainty, meaning dollar price will go up, while stock markets gain downward momentum.
People are being manipulated to think that Trump is unpredictable - which is not true IMO.

I do not think it will affect the bitcoin price that much and it seems bitcoin is independent oh Hillary though her administration may  affect, but not that much on my opinion.In my observation, whoebver wins, bitcoin will continue to rise.

No, this won't affect bitcoin directly, as both future presidents won't do anything radical or even focus on cryptocurrency - which is still rather insignificant phenomenon.
But Trump as president will create some uproar - investors will panic that he will do something radical to the economy and create crisis - that would actually help Bitcoin.
Every time when FIAT markets are losing ground people seek safe haven in the form of alternative investments - like cryptos. So we better pray that next Trump will be elected next POTUS.

Will it really matter who the president is? Bitcoin is supposed to be outside the mainstream and it is subsidized by the current fed regulations in the United States. Think about if Paypal was allowed by the government to be open to the darknet drug market. Bitcoin will lose its market niche. I know a lot of you want mainstream adoption but I like the underground to become mainstream because of Bitcoin.

if you are asking such question it is better for you to ask to fortune teller because there is definitely none an exact answer but only speculation
but if you are seeking for speculation i will say the bitcoin price will be remaining the same because bitcoin users in america will not give a shit to the election if no regulation about bitcoin created

It will remain, why are we only considering here the US. Is bitcoin controlled by the US? And in fact, I do not trust politicians, they are only good in the campaign period but when in the position, they are different..

i've heard that clinton said from one of her speech that she will support block chain so by doing that she can make btc to rises up more
but i agree with you we don't need to trust politicians as they only speak what the community wanted to here so they gain popularity
whatever happen we as the community should continue to work and make this chain keep on rising.

There is a general feeling that Trump takes decision according to his emotions rather than using his brains so there is an uncertainty in the minds of investors,Hilary on the other hand is backed by big investors and manipulators and she does have a good camp .There wont be any significant trend change in bitcoin who over wins the election

That is most likely the scenario and when it happens it will push the bitcoin prices indeed. But whoever wins, bitcoin will still gain afaik. Slowly, but bitcoin has a significant growth every year.

Just wait ,no one can tell it right now.  If hillary clinton supports bitcoin  then it might get hit the market. Bitcoin will rise day  by day.  But what hillary lies.?  She doenst accept bitcoin at all . Then bitcoin will stay at 700-800

I think no matter who wins, Bitcoin will pump hard because no matter who gets elected, the situation is going to be pretty unstable for a while, but of course, Trump is our guy when it comes to market instability, this would help us bitcoiners to benefit from a massive pump, so yeah, vote Trump if you want  higher bitcoin price lol.

I think if Clinton wins, there will not be a change in bitcoin price.
On the othere hand, if Trump wins, I can imagine that the price will go down a bit, along with the stock market.
The reason for that is that he is not as predicatble as Hillary, and that's something nobody in economy likes.

Same as  other members  here saying  it  wont affect the bitcoins price  because theres  no connection  between  it , if  dollar  rate  would be affected  i think  these would   somehow effect a  little   on bitcoins price  but  it wont be  much.  As we all know  bitcoins  price would  still  rise  on the  long run.

that's for sure, it will not affect the price of Bitcoin. But the government's attitude to Bitcoin may change. We can not predict how the future will go to the president cryptocurrency

usually what happen outside of the cryptoscene do not reflect the market at all, the market and its price are simple based on supply and demand imho, it's more probable that some altcoin might affect bitcoin value, because it's convenient to dump bitcoin to buy altcoin, much faster than usd or euro

Bitcoin is a global phenomenon!Not just an US based one!
Therefore I can not see any reason why Bitcon' price should react intensively no matter who becomes the next puppet of whoever is behind the courton.

I would say that is Clinton wins, war is inevitable which will cause massive economic instability which should work out in bitcoins favour.

As per the world survey and economist chances of the economic growth and world development will be more if Hillary becomes the president of USA. She is said to be preferred choice of many of the world leaders considering the ties she has developed even when Bill Clinton was president.

I agree with the above answer bitcoin price what change what either the result as not one person can make changes to bitcoins so the price will be the same as it is today as it will be tomorrow so if a big increase or decrease it wont be down to what happens in the us today or tomorrow

A tainted yet considerable resume when it comes to foreign affairs, yes. Bu that isn't the biggest issue this election for a lot of voters, and because of that I would expect for a lot of people to ignore this aspect. A lot more people care about jobs, the economy, and turning the country around. It's already bleeding out, the question now is how quickly.

I'm not sure that it will have that much of an effect because she it basically the more establishment candidate. Most likely things will stay basically the same if she becomes the president.

That doesnt will affect bitcoin, atleast as i know she doesnt know or have any opinion about bitcoin, if she have her words might affect bitcoin new costumers and adoption, besides that can damage as well, but in the end as long she dont talk about bitcoin it shouldnt make any impact into it.

Initially it would have no effect, but when she starts world war 3 with Russia the Bitcoin price will probably go up a lot.

Whether Hilary wins or Trump wins, it won't have much impact upon the bitcoin price suddenly. Over the falling months the change in the system might cause small variation in its growth depending upon the way they support and regulate digital currency.

It is more exciting than thought. I live in Europe and I'm awake all night watchting the election. I'm not a fan of Hillary Clinton (nor of Trump). But I did not think Donald Trump would perform so well so far. It's hard to say who wins, it gets very tight. Currently I tend to Trump.

Yes indeed, and Trump is leading already.Bitcoin price continue to rise also:) it seems its a good opportunity now. It could be the American election propel the bitcoin price increased? If so, this is just a temporary only isn't it?

Yeah I also think that this is only temporary mate. But it's good for us if this will continue.. yeah Trump is on the lead what comes next to us (bitcoin community) if he won? I hope there's a positive outcome which we can benefit from it.

As of this time - Trump was already declared as the winner. Those who bet for trump really make a good money. Back to the topic, I guess Trump made the price of bitcoin rise, it's rising today, and I won't be surprise if I wake up tomorrow, the price will be at $800.

definitely trump is making bitcoin's price rising by making dollar's value decreasing,and even many stocks are now getting red but if it was from my opinion this even will not last too long so it will eventually fixing itself until trump make a movement

Well looks like dollars is reacting well to the news about Trump as president, soo i dont know how this will be good for bitcoin, besides make the dollar more strong, that should mean bitcoin should loose a bit of the current value, but lets see what he will do, even when i dont believe those can really make price up or down.

Theres no need  to make assumptions  now  because  Trump   had gained the  spot  of   being   president of  USA,   but  related  to bitcoin, same as other members said  here   price  of  bitcoin  somehow  reacts  on this   presidential election and when  trump won  but   its  just  an speculation though because  i dont really  know  whats happening  behind  on  movement of  bitcoins price as  of now.

I think the logic beforehand was that there would be carnage on other financial markets and that would benefit Bitcoin. It didn't really turn out like that on the other markets which just had a short dip then came back, so probably the Bitcoin price was heading up anyway due to normal demand and just used Trump as an excuse to break its inertia.
