Nothing China can not develop. All production of it was built by Americans and Europeans. If you impose protective tariffs that China's economy will start to fall.

Unlike the US, Europe doesn't protect its tech market. That's why there is no European Google, Twitter, Microsoft. China protects their market, they have Baidu, Weibo and others. The same is more or less true for Russia (Kaspersky, Yandex). The problem in Europe is market protection, finding investors and taxation. They do have tech companies but most of them are service companies.

And I think that the reason of the very high taxes. European and American companies employ it specialists from the underdeveloped countries. The Internet allows you to work remotely.

Maybe because of the laws or because of the taxes that these companies should pay to their eu country and the people who work in eu are paid much more than in china or in any other country where the number of people is a lot.

On the contrary, there are quite a few tech companies in Europe, but their focus is on local markets mostly. They lack the global outreach if compared to US or even Israeli tech sector. Surely there are notable global companies, quite many of them among European tech firms.

I disagree, taxation is not the biggest drawback. It's mostly about their average business model. To put it simply, they are not ambitious enough to take on the world. Their local markets are big enough to flourish.

The outsourcing is making the economy of 'rich' countries better and richer so I think that the number of people working outside for U.S is much larger than the number of people that work inside the U.S for themselves in the tech industry. This applies to EU countries too but the number is much less.
