This was an amazing service I had the opportunity to use. I have never used a VPN before and I had no problem setting it up instantly. Security was great, I ran it against various sites and none of them saw my new IP. This is a premium VPN service at a cheap price. Speed was not hindered at all as long as I used a server on the same continent. Brilliant service, will be using this if I ever need a VPN again in the future. I honestly couldn't tell when the VPN was on or off speedwise. Thank you so much for letting me use this. If I start needing more security this is the VPN service I will be using.

I read the description of the type of services you offer and man they look awesome! The price for a year seems pretty expensive but the services seem pretty worth it depending on the reason for needing the service. I emailed support for a trial. Hopefully I get. I'm currently using Tor, Hotspot Shield, and SurfEasy for anonymity. I can't wait to try out Zorro VPN and give it a review compared to the other services I use.

Your price is about two times higher than market average (AirVPN, Mullvad, BTGuard). Does it reflects better anonymity level and faster speed?

Anyone here using the service on a Mac? The configuration files that I downloaded from ZorroVPN didn't work with TunnelBlick.

Let us know what issues do you have. And we will be glad to help you.
It supposed that you need the latest Tunnelblick (http://tunnelblick.googlecode.com/files/Tunnelblick_3.3beta52.dmg).

I do have the latest version. This is the version I have: Tunnelblick 3.3beta52 (build 3352)  -  OpenVPN 2.2.1

I have tried this service and just after a day it is phenomenal! Just like they advertise, no speed cap, INSTANT IP switch, FULL anonymity, I can not believe how perfect a VPN program can be. Definitely recommend to anybody who wants maximum security on the internet.

I have used your service, and I love the chain-building feature. There aren't many ways to route  traffic from an unjailbroken iPhone out a tor exit node, but you have provided it. Also, I would say that data transfer rates have been fantastic so far. More than enough to handle a Google Voice call from my mobile despite hopping through five servers in North America. I added trust to your profile as your service is genuine and not a scam—like so many offerings on bitcointalk. Also, thanks for the coupon, I saved a bundle with it.

I highly recommend this service to others.

About your terms of use, you might want to re-word "any other illegal activities". Pornography is illegal in some places, does that mean my account could be terminated for it?

Also, when asked "How do you generally handle requests from law enforcement and copyright agencies?", you responded that you would "end the cooperation." Could you clarify this? Do you mean not cooperate with law enforcement?

Wolf0, thank you very much for your questions.

We have improved our terms of use, now it says
"any other illegal actions (depending on the laws of the country where VPN server is located)"

"End the cooperation" means account termination and not cooperation with law enforcement.

Thanks for the clarification. You might want to note that you do not cooperate with any law enforcement somewhere on your site, it's a selling point.

Depending on their location, they might not have a choice in certain cases whether they want to cooperate with law enforcement. Yes, in theory, they could tell LEOs to get bent, but they are putting a huge risk upon themselves.

OP - Can you please elaborate on how you will handle court orders? Do you keep logs? I am hoping you run machines without HDs (i.e. running the OS from CD).

Thanks,

Publicist

It looks like one of the best VPNs I've seen yet, but the price is a little high. Would you consider a reduced rate for yearly payment? $120/year isn't an option when PrivateInternetAccess and Proxy.sh offer the same service for $40/year

Last I tried to get ZorroVPN working I couldn't due to some sort of incompatibility with the latest version of Tunnelblick. Has this issue been resolved yet? I know I can still use the service with the older version of Tunnelblick, but the way I see it software needs updates for a reason.

Do you have any comments to make regarding your VPN services and NSA's X-Keyscore?

Quote
Perhaps more concerning is that the slides appear to indicate the program can be used to crack VPNs designed to provide anonymity for users. In one of the suggestions for using XKeyscore, a slide reads: “Show me all the VPN startups in country X, and give me the data so I can decrypt and discover the users.”

I'd like to know this too.

I'm a heavy user of VPNs. For some reason I just love testing out there strengths and weaknesses.
I'm currently a user of Tor, Hotspot Shield, SurfEasy Browser Key and Desktop Web Proxy, and of course ZorroVPN.
I love ZorroVPN's Server/Tor combination!  ;D

What's the average speed you get on this type of service?

10mbit, which is also the link speed of the virtual adapter.

I have been using ZorroVPN's service for about 3 months now, and their connections are stable and fast. I switch server/country on a regular basis, and the performance is always tip top.

Anyone have positive experience with this?

Is this at all comparable to HMA? I've used a few VPN's and HMA is the only one that has gotten me on one site I was banned on - all other vpns fail hard in that case which is unacceptable. Currently using AirVPN but it's very meh so far / random disconnects.

Have you taken steps against the Heartbleed vuln, if necessary?

Yes. Our servers have not the vulnerable versions of the OpenSSL.

Thanks for letting us know!

Seems like something I may have use for down the line and will be sure to keep this in mind and subscribe this thread.  Thanks for the offer.

Do you have a tutorial for using your VPN service and to make it "fail-close". For example if I use tunnelblick on OS X on a host machine, how can I set it up so that no traffic whatsoever will go in or out of the machine when the VPN connection drops and before the VPN connection is established (after waking up from sleep or when booting).

Under what jurisdiction is your service?

ZorroVPN is independent service and it's out of jurisdiction of any government.

hi I don't quite understand this claim.

if you are operating on the high seas or of the planet earth, then every last bit of land is claimed as jurisdiction under some government.

I  like the website design :)
But the prices are too high, 15$ a month for a vpn is just too much. There are many services that gives you higher quality at a cheaper price. Take some other websites for example, you could get the same vpn for 5-10$.
Anyways, good luck!

But the prices are too high, 15$ a month for a vpn is just too much.

For example, we provides VPN chains (DoubleVPN, QuadroVPN), VPN+Tor (without running Tor instance), port forwarding...
And our goal is not to get as much users as possible. ;)

I like the phrase "reassuringly expensive" in this instance.
