Title: Noobie in need of help.. Screen is turning itself off and i have to restart PC.. Post by: JoeBloggs1992 on June 14, 2011, 04:54:11 PM After about 5 minutes of mining with GUI miner its turning my computer screen off randomly and then i have to restart my computer to get it back, is this a common problem? ??? ???

With the information you provided, it could be that your graphics is either overheating or the drivers are crashing (due to over/under-clocking problems).

Its free. Then run Speedfan and monitor all your temperatures. From there run your miner and see if it overheats. If it does, then try manually turning up the fan. Additionally, if you have Windows, you could see if you have some ridiculous time for Sleep Mode.
