Thanks for your interest. We have an ICO (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1690108.msg16961449#msg16961449) starting on 27th of November. That's an investment opportunity for anyone interested. When the ICO is finished, the bankroll will be closed and there won't be a chance for new investors to invest directly, but they can still buy shares on the market. By buying our shares they will start receiving dividends.

I find this part in your Terms of Service a bit concerning:


This suggests you can simply take whatever money anyone invests and lock a person out of their account, just because you want to, and there's no legal recourse. You might also want to include something in your ToS regarding people who aren't legally allowed to join your site due to their local laws. I didn't find anything mentioning that, and you could be leaving yourself vulnerable if you don't. For example: online casinos and partaking in them is (as far as I could tell) illegal in Texas. I'm not a lawyer so I don't know what the consequences would be, but hopefully this is helpful.

All that aside, I thought your presentation video was great, and I like the design of your site. I hope this project is legit and goes well. Do you know if investing in the bankroll would be illegal in Texas, given that online casinos are? What about owning shares of your stock?

The terms are more for our security, the rest is a matter of trust. Of course if we suspend an account for no reason to anyone, betbase would be dead. That's not really our point.

Just one question why you guys have decided to run ICO rather than just allowing anyone to invest and divest whenever they want just like moneypot?
And how dividends will be calculated, if there is loss in overall of 6 month period ? I mean there will be decrease in share price or how this will be handled?

Yes, I'd also like more info - seems to me that 4 days until ICO is way too quickly for a product that hasn't been developed at all yet and is just a theory at this point.

From the investors perspective, they always know what they are buying. If we had open bankroll, your profits could be lowered anytime when someone comes and invest into the bankroll just like you.
With the form of shares, you're guaranteed that your stake in the bankroll will stay the same.

Also, our shareholders will be an active part of company (speaking of voting). You will give us the important decisions and help us lead betbase the right way.


The shares are likely to be devaluated as it's open market. But dividends will be either 0 or some amount will be paid to shareholders from the company reserves. This depends on the result of voting we'll arrange in that case.

While I generally like the idea of advanced version of MoneyPot with a twist. But why every interesting project nowadays needs to crowdfunded via ICO?
This is double edged sword if ICO will fail you will go down with it. Plus, we had recently vDice - another ICO. People interested in gambling coin might already invested there.

Well I agree it's kinda risky to do ICO, but we had no other choice as we wanted to give our investors the assurance of not being undervalued by the new investments. That means if you get a stake at our company, you will have the same stake no matter what. No new investor can come and make your profits lower.

If this would be an absolute fail, we have some finance to build a bankroll ourselves, but it wouldn't be too much.

We will make Betbase great either way, it would be just slower if no investors were interested in the end.

Those are actively betting according to our statistics, I think it may be just testing though.

What types of games will you allow? True minesweeper? BustaBit-type? PVP?

Player-vs-house, that means dice, slots, lucky wheel, plinko, roulette, minesweeper is also possible, and so on.. Basicly every game that is player-vs-house, you can even invent your own game for that matter. No PVP yet, but we'll probably implement something like that in the future.

What about something like BaB though - where outcomes aren't necessarily pre-determined and some of the outcome is user choice?

Good project, I hope the speed of transactions should be a priority, not only of time deposit fast but slow when  withdrawal period, including a small withdrawal fees. I hope it also provides a secure wallet.

Ok, didn't have much time to study it, sorry. Well BaB is not running on moneypot, they actually don't support this type of game either.

We will be implementing new feauters in the future, so we'll see if this will be possible.

Now we have to focus mainly on the ICO because bankroll is the priority if we want Betbase to be successful.

Sorry for ruining your picture about our scripts but this is just not true. Our game scripts have no bugs and have been publicly reviewed.

Normally when you are accusing someone of breaking the law or providing faulty service you need to prove it.
Without serious argumentation and evidence that their scripts are bad, full of bugs and backdoors your comment lack substance.

Well, that's not exactly quite right is it? You guys do have a history of exploitable bugs in your scripts - where can we see their public review? Are they open source?

Yes, we do have. All victims of that poor coding were compensated and the later review was done by some hero member user, I think we had a special thread for that. But it's not true that they are known for "backdoors", they were never there intentionally.

As we said, there's nothing to be worried about. The BetBase code will be reviewed by RHavar and we have much better (and much more expensive :D) team of coders now who are actually security experts, I am 100% sure everything is well secured.

If you're so confident in your code, then why aren't you waiting for RHavar's review before raising funds?

Because he does the review for his stake of money raised and has tems.

I was interested in starting a bitcoin casino so this will allow me to explore that dream a bit further now.

Important statement about the ICO:

In case we won't collect enough btc, we'll use what we have (arround 30 btc top) from our own. After the service gets more attention and some decent user base and profit, we may (or may not) retry the ICO once again.

So don't worry if ICO won't go well, it won't affect existence of this project :) We're going to make this big no matter what!

They will receive their shares. If we will be forced to invest our own money, we'll invest it as regular investors (so we'll own appropriate amount of shares).

It is automatic if you meet certain requirements.

One of them is that you made a deposit and then there are some other check.

If any of that checks doesn't pass, the withdrawal is sent to administration for approve.

you free script is nice but 2 suggestion ..one is live status of your blogroll , bets ..and on depost option there is not qr code only btc address is there so better add qr code option so that it will make more easy to add fund ..

Also it has missing thing auto betting option so if you can dd that alos it will help casino use to make site live more quickly
