The ministry of state security of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) detained journalists from the Russian TV channel Dozhd because they did not have appropriate accreditation for working on DPR’s territory, the ministry’s press service said on Friday.

Why these journalist would need to get accreditation to work in not existing country. This country is not recognized by any country of the world, even by Russia. This territory officially belongs to Ukraine and so called DPR didn't had right to deport these journalists.

Recognition of a country doesn't matter. For example, the existence of Israel is not recognized by most of the Islamic nations. The situation with regards to Taiwan is also similar. That doesn't mean that the journalists can go to these countries without any documents.

It will be much better, if they merge with Russia. But I don't think that Putin want the DPR and LPR to join Russia. The main economic activity in Donbass is coal mining... but Russia is also suffering from a decline in the coal sector.

There is no such problem. The biggest problem is a Ethnic Cleansing activity of Kiev Jew-Bendera Government in Donbass area.
What is business in the area is a local deal.

We need to consider, that some countries with such territorial problems have no chance to entry in NATO.

If they were released shortly that's good because I think journalists shouldn't be detained as long as they don't hurt anybody physically. That's a shame they are detained in some countries for political reasons and even being killed in others for just telling the truth.

How they are going to defend their region, if the population is vanishing? A large part of the population has immigrated to Russia, and many of them are currently applying for Russian passports. Considerable numbers have gone to Belarus, Poland, an Romania. In the rural regions, the population has fallen by as much as 75% in some districts.

The rebels have no reason to shell the civilians, as the vast majority of them support the rebel groups. On the other hand, the Ukrainian forces in the region includes extremist militias such as Right Sector, which harbor extreme hatred towards the Russian-speaking civilians in the region.

If you need the "official data", the you can refer the website of the Ukrainian ministry of propaganda (now known as the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine). Propaganda is available in all the major world languages (including Cherokee, Ojibwa, Enindhilyagwa, and Olyuben), and you can listen to it in your native language.

You forgot to mention sites in countries such as America, UK, Germany, France, Turkey and many others. The fact that Russia is blocking any UN resolution against yourself also says a lot.

They have the Government.

The government exists since 2014, and they have even conducted a round of the parliamentary elections. They lack recognition though. Only a few breakaway states such as South Ossetia and Abkhazia recognizes them.
