Are they(Illuminati) real? I have seen videos in youtube but I cannot believe what they are saying really. What would be the implication if they believe bitcoin is better than gold?

In case the world will shift to digital currency or cryptocurrency, then we will still expect that the governments will meddle with it. They will create their own digital currency that will replace the paper money. And this digital currency will still represent gold in the state's reserves.

Yes in fact the increasing demand of digital currency as the new generation are mostly involve in online shopping will compel the governments to think about their own digital currency, but it will not be a decentralized currency and the government will own it as they owned fiat currency. But still not any other currency can replace bitcoin.

governments are not going to make their own cryptocurrency because they already have it. they want to move towards a cashless society and ban all cash. India was just a test case for the world. a decentralized pubic ledger has nothing to offer to goverments, they would only lose control if they used one. They will stick to banksters' legacy systems.

I think gold and bitcoin serve two different purposes and they will coexist together in the future. I don't think this is the real Illuminati group, normally this group is a secret society and they don't talk on the mainstream.

Well, this statement is based on an axiom which can sound like this: the world will move towards digital currency economy. This is something probable and yet we can't be sure about it. Not an illogical proposition, however I would find it unlikely that they have much of a say in the market unless they're buying only something like 50 BTC per day, since the market seems to inch up rather slowly and a large buy-in would spike the value and drop it down.

Yeah yeah, illuminati, whatever.   Bitcoin IS better than gold simply because it's money that requires no storage costs or space.  It's a ledger entry that fluctuates in value.  But you can't make a decent wedding ring out of bitcoin.  That's where its ephemeral nature becomes a drawback.   I'll hand it to the illuminati though, they create amazing warped logos.

Bitcoin is better than gold with or without Illuminati. Bitcoin offers lot of opportunities to everyone so whatever the thing is I dont illuminaties have to do with Bitcoin. We can all use bitcoin and it can be access and be profitable for everyone than in gold thatowns only by some.

Both are good in my own opinion and also we cant really compare a currency into a metal which is gold. They really differ on prices and bitcoin has more volatility and price increase when we saw at the charts and its just on its earliest years. Well this organisation is association of intelligent people and thinks bitcoin is better than gold is a good statement which we have already in bitcoin community.

And they are not just intelligent people but also wealthy people and they are using their riches to proclaim that they are powerful. Maybe they don't want to control monetary policy. And it works for them if people lose confidence in government issued fiat currency and move to gold/bitcoin. Bitcoin appeals to anybody who is against the existing establishment.

You are wrong. A pubic ledger is way better under some circumstances than conventional means of currency. Bitcoin has the capability to eliminate almost all corruption from the government. The public officials would be enforced by law to only transact with Bitcoin from known and published addresses. This way everyone could see what the politicians do with the money they get from the people.

If the flow of taxes was recorded on a public ledger then everyone could monitor where their taxes end up with. It would be impossible for the politicians to steal tax money for themselves. Also it would be super easy for anyone to demand explanations where the money was spent.

We probably all would want to see on decentralized public ledger how taxes are managed and spent but I'm not naive to believe this will ever happen. This will never happen. Power needs to be "free" and unknown for the people.
