Your thread title says " Guaranteed 1BTC every 100 players " but for each ticket user has to pay 0.001 BTC . so 0.001 * 100 = 0.1 BTC so are you going to pay the other 0.9 BTC or did you make a mistake while typing ?

Also can you please explain what this means and how exactly it works?

Since your site is new, nothing can ensure that you will pay for use. How can you expect there will be 100 users buy lottery from your site ? Stop make me laugh. Even hi-lo betting platform can get less than 100 players in the first week. Poor design without any green security.

Random.org is not 100% provably fair imho, the one who draw it may choose the winner as he/she wants by doing many draws till random.org showing the winner as he/she wants. I dont say that you will do it but you should have better way to draw the winner. Otherwise this lottery will never be drawn, I'm sure about it.

It looks like a scam, no one will trust you, stop scamming.

more tickets = more chance to win and that was looks good but in my opinion running lottery sites doesn't really good for your bussiness because i had been seeing there are some lottery sites at here but most of them had lack of interest and lottery sites would be easier to be abused and most people here still doubt they will have 100% fair

You should use escrow in middle if you like to make this christmas jackpot start getting some funds. Nobody gonna believe in your words as most of the lottery creators in past used to run away with all they have collected.

Find escrow and add bitcoin address of that escrow on lottery page or better drop your idea about this lottery.

What a joke. The method you have outlined is no where close to provably fair, lets random.org cheat if they wanted, lets you cheat if you wanted, lets a hacker that hacked you cheat, e.t.c. That is 0% provably fair, because it's unverifiable by anyone. Even if you record a video or stream it, it still isn't provably fair as no one can verify it. Can't believe someone running a gambling game doesn't even know what provably fair really is.

I think it's like a joke to put money and earn money :), I think your ideas and your posts do not look attractive, all the people will certainly think of security issues in order to avoid fraud

Your system is not trusted so no one will rely on it you need to manage for an escrow for running that bet. For escrow you need to hire a well reputable person from this person who is the most trusted person. After that start this game.

In the past I saw a number of games like that where the OP is claiming that they are managing for the escrow but in the result they do nothing and only escape away from the field so it is hard to trust on games like that.

Will you participate if he use an escrow but he use random.org to draw the winner? The provably fairness should be the priority then he can think about the escrow after he can find provably fair sytem to draw the winner.

I dont understand what you are trying to say here. 0.1 guarantee for every 100 players? So each of them should get 0.1 btc if they win on this lottery? Do you have anything to prove that you hold that huge amount? And why we can't buy directly 0.01 btc that means 10 tickets? Why must we send it 1 by 1? We will always lose some amount before we even hit it. Do you think people will attract in this kind of games?

I would love to see that also since the only issue here is fairness since we don't actually knew how he draw the winners and not truly trust this one since we need trusted guy to hold the funds for us to make sure that this raffle will be at good place, site owner need to sort things out so people would not asking more about how their fairness work since we actually see many gambling site who scammed many people.

what happen if the wallet deposit amount never reaches 0.1 BTC, I remember there was one site not long ago that promise to draw lottery when the prize is over $1000 usd but the draw never happen at all because the wallet never reach $1000 usd :)

Maybe Ognasty and sebastianju can help you with that if you plan to hold the funds on escrow since they are the more trusted guy out here and they've been holding huge funds from their clients thats why much better that you must select on those two mentioned names so your funds will not be in danger, and surely it can gain more trust if these guy will held on.

Maximum 10 tickets for each? So how about each people have 2 id with 2 different addresses? Do you allow this to happens? Because what i really saw right now people might abuse it with this kind of trick like they do on some giveaway. And you not even answer my question back there. Good to see the funds is escrowed but did I miss something here on how the winner will be chosen? I only see "will put the txid on randomizer" What kind of randomizer? Can we verify the draw of the winner? Just to make sure it is a provably fair lottery, otherwise the use of escrow will be useless if it is not provably fair.

I appreciate SFR for taking this job. sometimes some escrow do not have time for taking this type of escrow and do not care that for the owner of the game and for the participants it is a much important business. Good Luck all

Notarizing the draw: the draw is done on Random.org, the drawing is attested by Notary Virtual Service At the end of the run the draw and the notary records are publishes

Record draws on blockchain: All drawings shall be recorded in the blockchain to stay for good!

Not provably fair. It's very easy for you to re-draw with the service as you are allowed to do as many as you want AFAIK, and you can participate using an alt account, keep drawing, until you win. It isn't what I would call "fair", because the site could cheat, random.org could cheat and you can cheat. Please learn what provably fair really is. I can help you with a provably fair method if you'd like.

There's plenty of ways you can do this so that nobody can alter the results. This could be done by utilizing the blockchain for example. Perhaps Darkstar will go more into detail though :P

You are welcome to help with a better provably system if you now any, i understand the people there are allot of scams around... i just want to create something that brings people to my website's.. I can let someone very trusted from the forum here let do the draw. or the escrow can do the draw.. i dont think random.org will cheat cause they have nothing to win here .. anyway im not planning to cheat or steal a penny from someone so all provably systems are welcome !

You could use bitcoin block hashes to generate random numbers. Perhaps set a time and date when you will be choosing the winner and pick the next block after that time. Then apply some kind of an algorithm (similar to those on dice sites) to generate a number using the bitcoin block hash. This is how Rollin.io does their lottery (details on their site). I'm not 100% sure I understood all of it correctly but there's plenty of people with more insight on the forum that could help you out.

random.org probably won't cheat. The problem is, they can cheat. The escrow probably won't cheat. However, they can cheat by making an alt account and causing their alt to win. All of these scenarios probably can't be proven, so there will can be doubt. If you want to make it provably fair, I think the method I proposed for sportsbet.io would work here.

Basically, when the draw is all filled up or you decide to draw it, call out a block number for bitcoin, that hasn't been mined yet. Post it here, don't edit your post, perhaps set the planned block time to after an hour (+6 current block). Wait for the block to be mined. Take the last X digits of the block hash, convert from hex to decimal, and apply modulus(participants) + 1 to get the winning number. Assign people numbers by the order in which they deposited by. Make sure the X digit is known beforehand.

I'll use the block that was just mined as an example, which is block 443498 (https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/block/0000000000000000035122f08b73c93bef90529e13cc52a55480fa4c8448cc9c). The hash of that block is

For the example, I'll take the last 7 digits, being 448cc9c. It converts to 71879836. If there were 10 participants, I'd apply modulus 10 and add 1 to the result. 71879836 mod 10 = 6. 6+1 = 7, meaning the 7th person would win.
