Title: Miners Reward + Fees = $5,248.35
Post by: the founder on April 09, 2013, 12:54:22 PM
Not sure if you guys got this or not, I wound up getting more traffic since I included this metric.

The way it's calculated:

Current spot price * (25 BTC +  transaction fees)

All taken in real time from most recent block

Basically someone (or pool) is making $5,248.35 every 10 minutes.

Note:  I am NOT saying this is good or bad,  it's just simply a fact

Isn't most of it going to BTCGuild?

I for one welcome our new hashing overlords.

About 40% to 45% of this does...

Meaning that over the course of a day there are 144 blocks to be solved.

144 *  $5,248.35 = $755,762.40 a day.

BTCguild get's about 40% of that.

IE: They are making (collectively) $302,304.80 a day.
