i am betting the underdog team Indonesia +0.5 AH

Mostly Thailand win the match when play with Indonesia, Indonesia didn't have much time to prepare the squad when join Asia AFF, is little bit surprise when Indonesia can reach Asia AFF Final, i hope this time Indonesia will get the lucky and win the match and take the trophy, Indonesia need this title to prove Indonesia soccer still exist, 2-0 For Indonesia

The first match will take place at home to indonesia tonight, supporters of indonesia's excellent, they willingly can be queued for tickets directly. I think indonesia's first match will win by a score of 2:1. But for the next match I'm pessimistic, perhaps the title will become Thailand.

Good choice friend! I pick Indonesia to win the first leg too, cause they will play at home and the spectator for this game will be very huge. Indonesian supporters will give a very big impact to this game. Even Thailand has the better skill but I guess it will very hard for them to play with their best performance while under Indonesian supporters pressure.

Actually this is not a great game, but it's an interesting match and be seen. Why is that ? We see the Indonesian team. Indonesia is not a team that favorite the AFF Cup because previous PSSI (Football Association from Indonesia) to get sanction from FIFA a few years, and preparation of Indonesia in the AFF Cup is very little because this first game after a few years of getting sanction from FIFA. And they made it to the finals, it was incredible. Then we see the Thailand team. They've won the AFF Cup several times and do not be surprised if Thailand is the favorite team and is predicted to win back.
On the first leg I hope Indonesia will win the game in the big score because they are playing at home, so that it can be a strength to them. While the second leg, the match determination will be held in Thailand and it will be difficult game for Indonesia. I hope in the second leg Indonesia could hold a draw or even beat Thailand. I bet Indonesia will win the game.

I wish them could beat Thailand, but the fact is Thailand are really a professional team, their football have developed to at least pro quality, unlike most of the ASEAN teams are still on the amateur level. Thailand are the best in ASEAN, no question about it.
Still it's not totally impossible for Indonesia, it been fifth times they come to this final and four times before this, they are just a runner-up. They will try to take a lead on the 1st leg, need to be careful as well because Thailand can hurt them badly if Indonesia don't seal the defence.

Indonesia vs Thailand, 1st leg play at Indonesia home. My prediction is this match will be tough for both teams. Actually Thailand is really good and have a big chance to win on this match, but Indonesia is really good at home though. this is heavy match for Indonesia and before the match starting i was already putting my doge to directbet with pick Indonesia ML with the odds @3.xx because i was so tempted for those odds that's why i did it but when in the first half indonesia conceded goals i thought they will lost but everything was change on the second half because indonesia was able to makes 2 goals and become the winner

It was a really great match, Indonesia really started with a slow tempo, and play under pressure in the first half, but in the second half they gave all they got, I salute to the Indonesia players' spirit, the first goal is kind of a lucky goal where the ball deflected, really nice match and very eager to see the second leg, for me Indonesia is a bit disadvantage even though they won with 2-1, if Thailand can win with 1-0 then Indonesia will lose the match

It was a great struggle for Indonsia. On the second leg of Indonesia should be able to win the game again or minimal draw in order to become a champion. I hope Indonesia will be the winner in the AFF cup.

Indonesia is the only team that can scoring goal against Thailand, 4 goals that Thailand conceded in this tournament, all came for Indonesia. Alfred Riedl is happy with this result because all the pressure back on Thailand now, defending at Rajamangala Stadium isn't a easy task but I also think they could do it like they did against Vietnam.

Very hard to believe, even though Indonesia Playing at home, BUT I expects that Thailand will win the first leg match. especially when thailand managed to lead the first half. But in the second half, the game really changed, Indonesia controls in almost all the second half. And finally Indonesia to reverse the situation and win. Yes the second leg will not be easy for Indonesia, because surely Thailand will play offensive as they chase the score. Indonesia's defense must be strong to withstand the attack of Thailand, and Indonesia should be able to rely on counterattacks to score. If Indonesia win and become a champion it sure would be nice because this is their first AFF Cup, and Alfred Riedl will retire with pleasure.

Yes even though the chance is very small because the first leg, thailand can steal a score 1 if Indonesia won 2-0 may be easier. i hope indonesia will play totally defensive for expect score 0-0.

Here we go, Thailand vs Indonesia Leg 2. It must be a hard game for Indonesia, Thailand need to make goals at least 2 to be the winner on AFF Cup, but i trust Indonesia for this match. I pick Indonesia +2 goals.

Not a really good performance from indonesia, the defender line of indonesia is a bit weak, they need to put pressure on the opponent rather than just guard with zone marking tactic, the first half indonesia really under pressure in the second half there is an improvement from indonesia performance, but it is a bit too late

As predicted, Indonesia fails again and again in Final. The wasted their winning on first leg, they only need a draw to win the title but they could not do it.
I would even say that Indonesia is not deserve to be on Final this year, they played so bad on Qualification Group but luckily went to Semi-Finals. In Semi-Finals they were lucky as well that they could kick Vietnam out while in fact Vietnam played much more better than Indonesia.
I have to be proud as Indonesian that they could go to Final, but they still need so much improvement on the team.

Indonesia lost, and this is a very lost defeat. Not only score shows that Indonesia lost, but the game is far superior to Thailand from Indonesia. Indonesia does not show the spirit, not imply that they are trying to score. especially in the first half, it is clear that Indonesia just want to play defense in order to maintain aggregate. Thailand Very worthy of winning the AFF CUP. And Indonesia is very lost, no one can be blamed, Indonesia failed again to become champions.

Thailand slammed Indonesia back to reality life, this final isn't a fairy tale, the quality side always deserve to be crowd champion. Have to admit it was wrong decision for Indonesia to sitting a 1 goal lead, they stay on their own half and hard defence in the start of the game, until Siroch 1st goal wake them up. It was too late and Siroch 2nd goal completely snap away the trophy.

Yes you are correct, Thailand could maintain AFF championship. I do not know what happened but my view Indonesia did not play well in the second leg, it was very different from the game in the first leg. Indonesia made a lot of mistakes in the second leg and in the end they had to give up AFF champion. But Indonesia had tried well and it should be appreciated.
Maybe this thread should be closed because the AFF Cup has been completed.

Thailand has the better skill and they played this second leg at their own home thats why Indonesian team can do nothing in this game. And yes, we have to appreciate the struggle of Indonesian team and wishing for the better performance in the future.
