I have heard rumors that this guy may be Satoshi himself.

He is really smart and has intimate knowledge about Bitcoin, the markets, and the world at large.

Seems like a good candidate.

- I haven't heard that rumor and also his channel seems to contain more than just bitcoin related videos

- He may be smart and may have deep knowledge regarding bitcoin but there are also many other bitcoin experts out there that doesn't mean all them could be good candidate for satoshi.

to me, bitcoin will be used for a long time, but never will be the future of financial world. blockchain will be used, bitcoin will probably die eventually.
PS:, die eventually doest mean tomorrow... imo bitcoin will raise a lot before that.

I dont get you what you mean with saying "Blockchain will be used, bitcoin will probably die eventually", I think blockchain is main used for bitcoin transaction if bitcoin is not their then how about blockchain will be used.

Dear Op the video is decent, but your assumption that he is satoshi is way to wide. And the guy who says Bitcoin will die, you can donate yours to my address, how can you miss the fact that blockchain is used for Bitcoin mainly, and it's very existence will be threatened if Bitcoins die. Firstly they won't, secondly isn't it ironic you are earning them and wishing they die.

It's the first time I heard about him it looks like someone with enough knowledge on many topics, but I don't think he is "Satoshi.". It seems this guy have a lot of supporters maybe this is why the rumors.

Same here haven't seen or heard this name before, it seems he like to gather deep knowledge on different things and regularly upload video about them. Bitcoin, finance, tech news etc seems to be his major topics for videos. I would say grandpa loves bitcoin...

bitcoin is a currency and blockchain is a technology(a database). Bitcoin uses blockchain technology.

there are a lot applications to blockchain and even if bitcoin dies tomorrow blockchain will probably be used.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was in on day one using a CPU to mine BTC.

The way he talks about it makes it seem like he has a large pile of BTC.

Since no one else knows who Satoshi is I'm calling it that he is either Satoshi himself or is real close to the inner circle of creation.

He or his original working group created the Web Bot Project.
It a program that basically searches through the internet and attempts to predict
the future based upon the worlds internet user's "collective unconscious" if I recall
correctly. It was originally created to predict stocks and other things, and later they
decided to attempt to predict world events.

It is more of an art than a science, so far.

He is not Satoshi.

His background seems to involved to just be a Bitcoin passer by.

You said it one of the biggest Bitcoin supporters I dont expect him to say something else. Something a politician will say concerning his party to be a savior of the masses. Even me myself who is not popular and did not even have access to the information he has access to before making that statement believes strongly that Bitcoin is the currency of the future and nothing else... But achieving that is where I have my reservations...

He could be satoshi himself

I saw very quickly one of his videos; this one with web bot but I cannot understand what methods did he use to forecast the future. He speaks not only for bitcoin but for many things. Furthermore I have my doubts about his project is called "collective unconscious". Has anyone long time ago subscriber of his channel checked any of his predictions?

yes it is not easy to find out satoshi, as no one has any clear idea where is he and from where is he/she. although some people are claiming that satoshi is from Japan but still there is no clear evidence about that, that where he is really from.

I beg to disagree with your view on bitcoin. Bitcoin will be there for a long time till it has the support of the community. We can see the code getting some serious upgrade in the future to resist quantum computers and to solve the issue relating to scaling.

if it raises a lot then it's cast iron guaranteed to survive. people are incentivised to stay where the money is. you don't have a $50,000 bitcoin and then abandon it for the latest shitcoin just because it has a nice ui.

this is not some shitty social network that you can walk away from with one click.

I haven't heard of him but what he is saying we all know by now. At least I think so. By this moment Bitcoin has already become a part of financial world. Not fully accepted and not without some disadvantages but probably all financial experts all around the world are aware that they can't pretend anymore that it doesn't exist and that it has big impact on the financial system we know. And in the future the impact will be even bigger.

of course it will die at some point.. mostly because that's how things work in internet.. the "cicle of life" is pretty fast around here. To me bitcoin still pretty solid, but it will die one day, doest matter if it will be because of a altcoin, because of FIAT or because some other currency created in the future.

Bitcoin is already a part of the markets somehow and it's already making a move out of its supporters or peers. Though it might not be that of a big mover, still it's making its rounds significantly around the globe causing more people to realize its potential on replacing fiat in some useful cases. It is the future, however, the whole future as we know it don't rely on bitcoin alone. It might be a part of it, but it's not everything in the future; fiat will still be there, that's a given fact but somehow bitcoin would live side-by-side among other available currencies out there and it will gain worldwide recognition.

actually I have not heard about this guy, but it is nice if he announce those points to public. it means that some people will probably be interested in bitcoin. and the video is good to be shown to newbies in order to explain them about bitcoin in-depth.

Yup, never heard of him in my life. Why can't someone really famous just start talking about bitcoins like it's normal ffs? Come on guys ffs!! I thought someone was talking about how Ashton kutcher or however his name is spelled was into bitcoins.

it's not the internet, it's money that largely lives on the internet. it's a totally different thing.

what did it cost you to switch from myspace to facebook? zero. what would it cost you to switch from bitcoin to something else? potentially everything if everyone has the same idea.

if bitcoin survives the next 10-15 years and stays out in front then it's remaining there. the near future is riskiest phase because it's still small enough to be abandoned or squashed and there are plenty of people with bright ideas. if it gets plenty higher then no one is jumping ship because there is no reason to. tech counts for nothing. herd mentality counts for all.

Well, Clif High is also predicting that aliens will feed on us in the future, therefore I do not think he is a person worthy of much credibility.

At least his prediction is positive on bitcoin, that will make us more comfortable with our investment. We have our own prediction but a prediction of a more reputable person will keep us at ease.

With this thread you promote bitcoin and support it while usually you are extremely skeptic and negative towards it.
Not long ago you were saying that bitcoin is nothing but great scam and Bitcoin=Pizzagate - so now you are a believer?

Gives a good understanding to users who were with hesitation or in fluctuation whether to use bitcoin or not will get a clarification. Later on the one who followed might create his own video to support the growth of bitcoin.

Did not watch the video and I do not have to. Bitcoin is the future for dark markets, payments for criminal activities online and other not so legal stuff that the banks do not serve. "Mainstream adoption" like what everyone is hoping here is laughable. Wake up, we have something really good here.

But, his web-bot project has been going for many years now, and some people swear by him (like him, sort-of how many like Martin Armstrong).

The idea behind is to collect memes, words, ideas from all kinds of places; and then I suppose he has some heavy-duty computers crunching away.  But I have not heard much about him lately, nor would it seem likely that any BIG predictions of hid would have come true, else we would all have heard about it...

This guy is weird to say the least. He is the tinfoil hat type of guy, with a bunch of conspiracy theories to make things interresting. When people start talking about Hilary and her body double and her being missing, then the red flag for coocooness goes up for me. He talks about Bitcoin and the price going up and down when there is polital instability, which is normal. The price of Bitcoin are being influenced by political instability, and so is any other commodity that are used for a Safe haven.

Listen to him talking about Space Aliens and Space Goat farts and tell me that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. Seriously?

I don`t know who Clif High is and i don`t use Youtube because my internet is limited.

He is a bitcoin supporter.It`s normal for btc supporters to say that bitcoin is the future.

If he's a time traveler, as well, I will believe he's Satoshi.

He is not Satoshi, I believe satoshi doesn't like exposure and can't be making some claims the way Clif High do.
I could remember during US election he predicted that trump will win by landslide victory but the establishment will not give power to him. Time will tell if he is correct or not

I have seen some videos of him and I doubt he is satoshi, he doesn't seem to have deep technical knowledge of bitcoin, he understands it well and knows how it works and so on, but not at a technical level, which would be a requirement to be a satoshi proposal.

I still think Adam Back is a potential satoshi, he was credited in the whitepaper. I also think Nick Szabo is still a decent candidate. But Gmaxwell and PWuille are also potential satoshis... we can't know.

The least likely candidate is most likely Satoshi IMO.

Clif High being Satoshi Nakamoto is just as good a guess as anyone else in the Bitcoin scene.

If this "Satoshi" is NOT an actual government, then I doubt that person will ever expose himself to the public. Imagine just the threats you'd get from people that have been busted or had bad experiences with using the black market, just imagine the risks you'd have to take to expose yourself. If it's just one person or a small group, I can't imagine him EVER getting in front of the lights. If you would've been that guy, you wouldn't either.

I used to think Nick Szabo was the real Satoshi too. Then he did a talk at Ethereum's developers conference which made me think that it could not be him. The real Satoshi, I do not think will support Ethereum. If you ask why, search for Peter Todd's and Adam Back's and GMaxwell's opinions on Ethereum. I am not a technical person but it is easy to pick up that those 3 BTC developers already knew Ethereum will not work.

Bitcoin already made a great impact in global finance and like an over stretched spring that won't obey Hooke's law any longer, whatever money turns out to be tomorrow, starts from this jolt it has gotten from bitcoin. If a better coin shows up tomorrow, then bitcoin would take a bow to the dark web, dying is out of the question.

All you do is try to create FUD. Guess what? It is not working because it is only you who "thinks" he knows better above everyone. Look at how strong the Bitcoin market is. No one is listening to you everyone wants to buy and prey. Accept it, outside of Bitcoin it is the same.
