Title: Bitcoin jewelry of any type- sterling, gold, platinum, palladium
Post by: tiptopgemdotcom on June 15, 2011, 06:02:58 AM
I am a custom jeweler in Bangkok and a GIA Graduate Gemologist.  Please take a look at some of the jewelry that my company has produced recently and let me know if you are interested in a special piece of bitcoin jewelry.  You will find many examples of our work in the gallery:

tiptopgem.com (http://tiptopgem.com)

We have superb CAD artists who can produce a rendering of your piece so you can make modifications before it is born.  We use the finest wax artists to produce your model by hand or for very intricate pieces our resin-printing capabilities are unparalleled.

We can make a ring, pendant, earrrings, or any type of custom jewelry you would like.  We have extensive experience with platinum and white and yellow gold as well as sterling silver and palladium.  Because we are based in Asia our labor costs are very low compared to custom jewelers in the West.  Inquire about pricing and I will send our prices and policies document to your e-mail.  Let me know if you want to be added to our newsletter list- we send about ten times per year and I try not to be boring!!!

We would be thrilled to work with you on a custom project to build a very special piece of bitcoin jewelry that is heirloom quality.  If you want to see a wide array of our work, add me- "David Fortier" on Facebook.  I have a cocktail ring as my avatar so I will be easy to recognize.

As a gemologist living in Thailand I have access to the finest blue sapphire, ruby, tanzanite, and emerald that the wholesale markets have to offer.  Seventy percent of all colored gemstones sold in Western retail markets travel through Thailand on their way to the consumer.  I specialize in cutting the supply chain short and selling direct to consumers in Europe, Australia, Japan, and North America.  All of our gemstones can be examined by reputable laboratories- reports are available for any gemstone you buy.  You can choose the lab- GIA, GRS/Swisslab, GIT, AIGS, Tokyo Gem Lab, etc.  You can feel confident in a third-party assesment of your purchase.

If you have any questions please feel free to send me a note at:

Thank you!

Certainly Yankee!  Either with or without a bezel.

Maybe like this with a bitcoin in the center?

I would definitely buy something like that! Real gold or plated?

Definitely with the bazel, but maybe a smaller one.

What about a two knuckle ring like this:

A bit thicker (I'm male), sterling silver, with Bitcoin as the text and a bitcoin replacing the O.

What kind of price would that go for?

Would you do 1 oz silver rounds, or do you just stick to jewelry?

I'm looking for someone to make 100 file silver rounds with bitcoin logos on them.

Yankee I don't do gold plated but I do 10K, 14K, and 18K white or yellow gold.  I am sure we could work out a design that you would love to wear!!!

And yes Reikoku I would do a ring like that.  Would you want silver?

I would be happy to send you two my pricing and policies document if you are interested in working up an estimate.  Just send me a PM with your e-mail address and I will get right back to you.

Thank you!

Dave

KGO- my guess is that Silvertowne in Winchester, Indiana would be a better place to get custom sliver rounds.  Give them a call!

Pricing information available now to anyone who sends their e-mail to me via PM.  You can also contact me directly at dave@tiptopgem.com or call 800-607-1425.  I'm in Bangkok so we are about 12 hours apart from East coast time- your late night or early morning will be a good time to reach me, or leave a message.

Thanks!

Gold is at $1536 per ounce.  If you are thinking of making some fine jewelry you may not want to wait too long!  As the government prints more and more money gold is likely to rise, as is silver.  The ratio of the price of gold to the price of silver ($35.68 per ounce) is 43:1 which some analysts indicate is a bullish ratio for silver.
