hi all

I'm new in the forum and I'd like to buy some cryptocoins. Right now I had thought about buying some Doge but someone has recommended me not to buy Doge at the moment.

What do you think? What's the best coin to buy right now? Bitcoin, Doge, Litecoin, Reddcoin, Lisk, Ethereum,...
It won't be to speculate, but as a store of value.

Altcoins may drop even more as bitcoin price rises, it is really hard to predict when they will follow bitcoin's price or even if they will.

Ethereum is in a descending path, I wouldn't buy it now, litecoin is still dropping, I wouldn't buy doge or reddcoin.

Take a look at SJCX, SC and MAID, study historical charts, read all about the projects, and if/when you feel comfortable take a position.

As a store of value I think many people will agree that bitcoin is the best currently (mostly because this is a bitcoin forum  ;D). But you should do your own research and decide for yourself don't just take investment advice from a random stranger on the internet  :P

there's a lot of crypto currency that worth it to buy but im suggesting you that bitcoin is the best crypto currency you can have but its alittle bit expensive but atleast you're making money with it by buying bitcoin because bitcoin price is actually growing and growing more nowadays. but im using alternative coins like doge coin. its more cheaper than bitcoin and im using doge coin in gambling.

I would suggest that you rather buy hardware to mine alt coins and then sell to get bitcoins or whatever coins that you think might be doing well at the material moment.

well doge now is in zombie mode, the price is very stable there is no big improvement at all, for me i still loyal to dash and monero for this year, but it is better just invest in bitcoin, alt coin is too unpredictable and most of the new coin is not a good coin and there is no alt coin that stand out in this few month

Altcoin value is not that much predictable or huge amount. I will always suggest to go for bitcoin because of its huge value, potential and stability. If you can able create a coin means just do it and earn by it. It is good earn via cryptocurrency.

Don't you notice the rise of bitcoin? It has gone up more than 100$ in two days, this is crazy! I think we are close to getting a bitcoin blockchain mainstream, which means that the price will go to the moon :)

It's best to avoid investing in any crypto currency except bitcoin right now, it looks like everyone is riding the wave as it goes up and will probably be liquidating their alt-currency positions. It might be better to spread your money out in non-currency related areas right now because the market is so volatile.

Looking at the performances of all the currencies on this planet including altcoins, I would say it's pretty obvious bitcoin is the best performing currency, asset, and any other category, of this year. It's pretty clear now. You may say "but XMR" went higher in %, that may be right, but the trading volume on those alts is an anecdote, it's not even serious.

bad idea to buy doge because doge is already sleep for a while and just waiting for the wake up time. almost altcoin have bad situations because bitcoin has got the time to increase and for the best coin to buy right now, i think you can go with bitcoin and not with altcoin. because altcoin will not stay in high position and only watching for bitcoin going to high.

i would prefer that u would buy litecoins now .it would be very helpful to u .and the price of litecoins is on the rise .

After checking out the present situation I will also suggest you to go with bitcoin.Last some couple of days the price of bitcoin history really pretty much impressive.At the moment Bitcoin one of the biggest issues in fact it stay with a good place,so It's the best choice to buy this coin currently.That's why you should consider purchase Bitcoin right now not only for a good investment but also so more.

Not speculating then makes this a lot more interesting. There are very few cryptos right now that actually perform like a store of value and most of them are a lot more like volatile commodities rather than something that'll still be valuable.

Bitcoin is probably one of the closest cryptos to being a store of value, and even you know how volatile all that is.

If you really go and look, you might as well avoid all low-cap cryptos and go for stuff high in value and volume.

If we check the value of the altcoins then we can see that they are pretty same when the bitcoin price increases because the exchange rate decreases but it's almost the same value, but I would suggest you to try bitcoin first and then by time learning and trying the others.

Bitcoin, no doubt! Don't miss the train, with the trend situation recently, bitcoin has been more stable, even nowadays the price go up, there are possibility to up again.

Altcoin mostly vulnerable to pump and dump (manipulated), there's groups who do that things. That's makes hard to predict where the trend move, if you join these groups also that's not guaranteed if you can earn profit, mostly they use false alarm which only makes a profit for them.

Yes, now it's time to buy Bitcoins, buy it fast and you will make a nice profit in some days or weeks. The price is increasing a lot every day. However it's not guaranteed to have the BTCs price for a long time near to $900, the price can decrease a little, so, if you want fast profit buy it now, sell soon, or if you have patience, hold it for more time and wait until BTC hits $1000.

To buy alt-coins it's better to wait some time, because now everyone is around BTCs, very risk to buy alt-coins now. I would buy an alt-coin only if I want to support it and give some help to the coin team, without thinking about real profits.

After the huge drop I think anyone would be crazy not to pick up at least a few Factom.
The project has really good long-term plans, partnerships with several companies planning to use their technology,
and the possibility to use the tech for many other things. There is a good chance this will be a great investment a few years from now.
Buy now, HODL and be glad you did in two or three years.

I thought that Ethereum is a good way to investment cause of it's rising fast. But must be that was that moment when I have just heard this information, it passed several months already from that time.

Guessing about any crypto currency is really hard because their prices keep fluctuating pretty soon, so you should just go with the markets, see what is having the biggest market cap and you should go with them if you yourself don't have any idea where you should invest.

Yes....It's good to ask questions.  However, always do your own research, and don't get caught up in the hype or fud because they are deceptive practices....Remember, just because a coin is on an upward trend doesn't mean it is a good investment.....you might get caught buying high and selling low!  There's nothing wrong with looking at the coins in red....many times that's where the best money is made....Do you're own research.

Advice: Pay attention to the coin's community support: past, present, and future.

In my opinion the best crypto to buy at the minute depends on you goals.  bitcoin my not be the wisest short term investment but long term it is a cert.  i would also look at maidsafe, sia and storj coin which all have a great future if they can get their respective platforms running full tilt. 

Currently Bitcoin is rising and just because of this most of alt coins on drop just because of this in my opinion buying alt coins is not good idea just keep eye on historical charts and then use your own mind its good for you

If you want to earn money within months then its better to invest your money to new potential altcoin. As a newbie too,  i can't determine if a new altcoin has a potential or not but i think somone might help you about this.  But if you want to money in within years or so, then maybe you should invest on bitcoin since its price is very unstable and become more valuable within years.

Bitcoin is good crypto currency than other crypto currency because bitcoin is very much stronger than other currency and i also a trader of bitcoin and i never face to any risk so i prefer that bitcoin is better to buy right now and its has too much lower risk.

Yes, I am too buying only bitcoins right now. Usually I do not prefer to invest in any other cryptocurrencies as I had bitter experience with litecoin and doegecoins. But bitcoin always is giving me profits when I am just holding them. In other words if we are buying bitcoins then there would be a minimum guarantee for profit making always.

Right now I would not buy any crypto currency, that includes bitcoin.
The past week the whole market had some bigger price fluctuations, and for me that can only be explained by some large investments.
Unless you know what the investor plans next, I think it would be wise to wait a few days until the dust has settled.

i think that the risk between bitcoin and other alternate coins is actually the same both are really volatile and it's just about how you can manage to make profit and taking advantages of both
when bitcoin is pumped the alternate coins is dumped and vice versa . so, if you feel that bitcoin is dumped move your money to alternate coin

if the bold part is what you seek then stay away from all the alternative cryptocurrencies (altcoins) because they are only for speculation and trading.

if you want to use something as store of value then look for Gold, or even Real Estate!
if you insist on investing in something crypto related then don't think about anything other than "bitcoin" and remember that bitcoin price is still risky.

Definitely Bitcoin. Currently, there are many events which directly affect Bitcoin and make its prices increase significantly. In the past 48 hours, we have seen that Bitcoin has increase more than $120 and people are very happy about that.
However, if you do not like Bitcoin, I think that chronobank.io will be the best option right now. They have put a lot of money in effort in to developing this new coin and after the ICO, I believe that Chrono prices will rise up to the sky

With bitcoin with such high price the altcoins had no time to react to it, soo in the general we saw all coins loosing 4-20% against bitcoin, this just shows that you can predict the market, i wont advice to invest at the moment into any coin, but always look for top 10 traded at poloniex and choose one.

Well if you're going to be purchasing alt coins right now i think we could all agree that btc is on a roll. For the last week i saw dubai coin surge as well as adz but at the moment they're on a decline but btc is sustaining so yeah for now i would suggest btc

If you want an long lasting investment and you want to buy the crypto-currencies that are stable. You can start buying litecoin, doge, eth and other kind of stable coins that are in almost of the markets out there. Their price is lower than before because the price of bitcoin affect a lot for their price since they are altcoins and depending only on the investors of bitcoin.

I think current time does not suit to by any crypto currency, especially bitcoin. Theprice is too high and as we know after every grow goes fall, so it would be very nervous period to you when you will buy bitcoin and will watch how the price is getting down. Better to wait a bit and to read some advices from the professional traders.

agree with you. i will also favour to hold bitcoin only for some time and it will give you a good profit because the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing and hope that this time it will even cross2000 USD level in 2017 therefore holding bitcoin for a long term will be more profitable.

I will buy BTC, DASH, XRP, XZC. they are very interesting for me
they bring me back big profits in next year.

As you're new to the digital currency world, bitcoin seems to be the right choice. The reason is that bitcoin has got the highest users and trust compared to other digital currencies. Also keeping track of altcoins rise and fall is hard compared to bitcoin.

I think if you want save value your money, much money of course bitcoin is best cryptocurrency for right now.
But if you put your money with aim for trading altcoins you can buy ETH, unfortunately ETH needs much capital for trading it and the other choice you can check on https://coinmarketcap.com many people use it for making investment into altcoins.
Personality i put my money on ETC because ETC's price is stable on about $1, there is chance for increasing become $2, but it is just my investment for long time strategy, except trading on other altcoins.

I think that the best cryptocurrencys to buy right now are litecoin and doge , as the bitcoin become more expensive and harder to get , people are switching to altcoin and the ones that are currently at a high price are the doge coin and the litecoin and i think as soon as the bitcoin reaches 1000$ people will start mining these ones
