I disagree, we know this works, we have been in the process of creating this for the past year. we are looking to build a PoC and the shortest path is to hire more developers.

We are not missing "Crucial" team members, We have enough of a team at the moment to complete this work, we are just hiring more to make the process faster and more efficient. An example of this is our lack of a Graphic Designer, we do not "need" one, but it sure would make Ascendancy look a lot nicer!

We hope you will reconsider looking at this project when we have released a PoC.

When I say we have been in the process of creation I do mean theoretical ideas and problem solving. Development has yet to start and when it does Ascendancy will be open source for all to see the code. The main reason we are hiring extra developers is to increase productivity and deliver a product much sooner. Development will be starting this week in either case.

Good to know you have nice idea and solution so what about escrow the funds for this IPO. People demand security for their funds before to make invest in ICO.

There are some similarities on the outside but the mechanism of action is completely different, the dAPP idea is a good idea and we have thought about this as a main idea for a long time. We noticed that lisk has tried to implement this with mixed success but we know out implimentation will work for our users.

We have a completely different development process. I assure you that this is not close to lisk. just some cosmetics :)

We will not have a demo as such, but we may be able to spare the resources at some point in the next few weeks to have a seperate proof of concept. Ascendancy will be open source however and you will be able to track development of the product when we work on the public codebase.

Looking for graphic designer, 2 x FULL/MEAN Stack developers to increase productivity.

They cant. Its just another money hungry ico with promises and nothing to show us they can complete any of it. That's why I only invest in icos, that have working beta tech at the very minimum. Im not investing in promises. That shit gets you and more importantly me and my pocket nowhere.

I kinda skeptic about this project. Hastily made for an ICO . It would have been interesting but it is pretty obvious that it is only riding on the trend of BTC going up.

I do not understand ideas like this really, why should wear ico why not imitate neucoin idea was first used when they make a show. I think it is simpler and better.

This project has been in the works for the past 9 or 10 months when Bitcoin was around $400. We even named it a 5 or 6 months back and bought the domain sometime around then (actually bough 2016-07-02, https://www.nic.io). You may think its obvious but you are incorrect in this case. Some of the site is not even public right now for the IPO (Starting 30 Dec 2016) Let alone the starting code for the framework.

The reason for the IPO is to raise capital to initiate faster development. In exchange for us raising capital to help development you will get an opportunity to own some token / equity at a low price based on our predictions. You do not have to take up this opportunity if you do not wish to.

Obviously. There's not to many good ico's to invest in right now anyway. A few yes but its hard to find them in the mess of all the trash they are surrounded by.

A trusted and legit escrow will be our first priority. We'll do a full fool proof IPO and ensure safety of everyone's money.

Other cryptocurrencies into the platform is certainly a possibility if that is what the dAPP creator is wanting, there are no limits of what they can use from an API for example. But the main idea is that it will allow developers who are not 'savvy' with blockchain technology to develop in a container or what other platforms call a sidechain. With educational documents and simplified libraries to help them every step of the way. Their own token will run aside from the main blockchain though, however this will not really be noticable to an average user and it will appear as its own chain.

I will also add that their own token is just a scenario from me, they do not even have to show this really as the blockchain could be running with PoS in the background of their dAPP.

edit: Yes, we will of course be using trusted escrows with multi-signature signing.

I will be interested in doing a nice write up, blog review on my blog once bounties are available and will also participate in social media promotion when ready. Looks like an interesting project to participate in. I usually always invest in IPOS I participate in as well.  :)

There are lots of days where you can hire the rest of the team but i'm gonna suggest to have an exchange to escrow because thay way you guarantee to list the coin on exchange unlike the rest that were released yet not listed.

Escrow agreement is currently in the works. We have 3 trusted escrows we are in constant talks with and as soon as we get the escrow agreement to them they will publicly post the agreement and their escrow signed address.

Hopefully today or tomorrow.

The project manager job is not open - SparkIt is and will be our project manager throughout the project.

The marketing role has been spread across the team and we will not as yet be hiring for this position.

Newbie launched ICO, nothing detailed in the "white paper", no concrete technical details, a bunch of newbies said it is a great projects, looks to me a high school student project trying to grab some easy money, lol

b) What technical details do you require? I can explain everything you need to know if you wish to come to our slack? The whitepaper is currently being re-written.
