You can start to have fun nothing else.
Today there are specially built machines to mine 100x time more effective than on CPU.
So to try, to loose some money on electricity, to learn of course u can.

Yes you can mine but just to see how mining works.
But you are not going to mine anything I doubt that if you don't join any pool you are not going to mine a penny.
Now the equipment is specially made for mining purposes and they consume much electricity so you need money to buy the expensive equipment then you need money to pay your bills.

For bitcoin, technically Yes, but for profit no like other guys said. You can try to mine some altcoin that supports CPU mining, but then again it will not be profitable since GPUs are much more powerful than CPUs for mining

With big luck you can mine. But your luck must be like Belaz 75710 of litle trucks toys.

to mining altcoin i think you can try with your cpu but for mining bitcoin i don't think so because for bitcoin it need more specific details. maybe you can trying with software for mining with your cpu like minergate, but i don't guarantee about the profit. you can find out with yourself and try to select what its suit with your cpu.

In a word - yes. I use this in two mining machines and it's a great CPU. I mine two different CPU coins at the same time plus GPU mining and it makes a good profit.
