As topic says. We finished "The Raffle of All Raffles" the other day, it featured a prizepool of ~9.5BTC.

There's been thoughts about organizing another one. A bigger and better prepared one. I'd be willing to do the legwork again, and some other trustworthy people seem interested in handling the money/shipping.

Let me know what you think, I'm also open to suggestions.

EDIT: This would not occur in the coming days, but in the coming week/s if it were to happen.

I will buy as little number of tickets as the community suggests. But in my defense, the last big mumma wouldn't of got off the ground without the hard work of Zepher and Hhampuz... and the madness of T"BIGBALLS"MAN

no hard feelings - I genuinely felt bad for the sweep. But - you guys decide - you can even ban me from the next if you want.

I don't believe in setting rules that will only affect certain people. Should be fair ground for everyone from the start, and you were the one with the big balls to get one third of the tickets. Most people knew the odds when they went in too, as you got yours early on.

If TMAN would have lost no one would have been complaining so I do not see what the issue is (and I thought he only got 22% of the tickets)

A user that bought only 5 tickets could have won, and to me this is no different then TMAN winning.

Definitely agree with you on this one. If tman would have won nothing, people would have probably been laughing at him for being a crazy fuck that took 1/3rd of the tickets. Just looking at it from a gamblers perspective it was pretty clear that you were entering a low % fight considering tman's tickets. Especially if you only got between 1-5 of the tickets.

I'd join again in a tomeframe of around 1.5~2 months. Too many of these big raffles and people might get raffletired.

Yeah I hear you, and could most likely do one further down the road, just trying to take this sale BTCC is holding as a good opportunity. But we'll see what happens :)

14btc prizes and a total of 1btc cost of tickets? Yeah sure i'll take that deal haha

15/256= 0.0586 per ticket.... id take half just for fun.....

I liked the previous deal better of 1btc cost instead of 15btc ;).
For 15btc I'd prob take two tickets like last time.

Some suggestions:

Include digital BTC prices and physical coins. Make it be so, that those physicals can't be changed to bitcoins when won. Maybe make a deal with some of the manufacturers to maybe even make the EV+ for the raffle.
Hold the funds in a multi-sig account. This defends all participants of the raffle, the managers and players. And make lots of satellite raffles/deals/whatever!! They're fun.

Yeah, will most likely look at getting some talks done with manufacturer and lock in the deals prior the it rolling. The multi-sig idea is a good one that I had not thought about for the last one, definitely something that should be used for this raffle. And you know it that I'll run those groupbuys and mini raffles all day :D. Thanks

If it's +ev one of us will buy all the tickets

Have more small prizes to spread out the statistical probability of making such a large sweep. One large 5btc prize fine, but mostly 0.5BTC prizes after that.

Edit: TMAN is welcome to buy half of the tickets for any future raffle as far as I am concerned. Everyone else's chances of winning don't actually change.

I'd be interested.

I'm only bummed that I didn't win anything from the last one, but all is fair in gambling. TMAN put his money where his mouth is and it paid off, so it doesn't bother me.
