PTRN - ICO/Crowdsale - Pattern Open Source Labs

This is an ICO/crowdsale of the PTRN token, which exists in the Bitcoin blockchain as a Counterparty (XCP) asset. All proceeds will be used to pay for the development of open source software, with a strong focus on decentralization and cryptocurrencies.

About The PTRN Token
* Counterparty (XCP) asset name and symbol: PTRN

* Not mined, but inherits the security of Bitcoin (via Counterparty).

* Divisible to 8 decimal places, just like Bitcoin.

* No "dividends" will ever be paid.

* Asset is locked on Counterparty. No additional tokens can ever be issued. Fixed supply of 262,062,776 tokens. No inflation.

* On February 16th, 2017 all unsold PTRN will be burned.

* The organizers and developers will not receive or hold any PTRN tokens during the crowdfund. No founder exit/dump.

* All PTRN tokens are currently available for purchase on the Counterparty distributed exchange (DEX).

* No pricing "tiers", just a single price for the initial sale of all PTRN.

Potential Projects to be Funded by Crowdsale

* decentralized software/app market

* decentralized ride-sharing

* decentralized room-sharing

* cryptocurrencies as payment mechanism for above apps

* augmented reality app and web browser extension to price everything in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency (e.g., standing in a store, augmented reality app uses camera to read dollar amounts and swap with price in Bitocin, in realtime)

All software will be released as open source under the "3-Clause" BSD License (https://opensource.org/licenses/BSD-3-Clause).

All work (development, management, etc.) will be contracted by the job. People contracted to do work will not be paid in full until the work is completed.

You like to throw around the word decentralized a lot. How do you plan on building all these decentralized platforms.

Why did you name it a pattern?

Build the decentralized software/app market first, for mobile and desktop web browsers. HTML + CSS + client-side JavaScript + browser APIs (using JavaScript frameworks). Browsers now have access to hardware, network protocols, etc.

Combine, for example, WebGL (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebGL), WebRTC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebRTC), BitcoinJS (https://bitcoinjs.org/), etc. to create a software/app market that does not rely on a central authority to approve what code anyone can run.

Then build software that runs "on" the software/app market, also without a central authority.

Donations could be sent to software developers from their customers in in the form of Bitcoin, Counterparty, Monero, etc.

its actually the opposite. people got scared to them and attack to the point they back off and call the project off :) these people are not new here in the forum. if they are indeed faithful to being a coin dev, they need to show themselves. let the investors know who they are so they can blame someone whenever they need to let it out their chest.

What the hell are u talking about? Are u scared of his face or his attitude? This assbent token is no better than thousands if not millions of kindred shits existing in parent threads, u can see them being bashed, twisted, and abandoned at no mercy, yet u talk about blame and why noobish investors find themselves unsatisfied with short lived instruments. We are not the same noobs we was 2 years ago and you can tell that the ico's are drying up and collecting no money for the most part because they are all scams. Mostly.
