Title: Money stuck in Ruxum (Old exchange, now closed)
Post by: mvd7793 on April 13, 2013, 09:15:57 PM
Hello! I started looking back at bitcoin recently, and went to my old Ruxum account only to find it had shutdown. I was pleasantly surprised to find .98 BTC and and $57 still there. I was able to withdraw the bitcoins and transfer to MtGox, and I emailed to withdraw the USD. That was on April 1st, and I still haven't received a response. I don't really know where to go from here, or who to bug to get my USD, and $57 is enough money not to just forget about. Any tips on what I might be able to do?

Sell the account to some sucker for 57$'s worth of BTC.

I'm not sure tbh, if they're not responding to emails and there's no other way to get the cash out, it'll be stuck in limbo :P

Tried that, the exchange isn't running tomorrow. (You can put the order in, but it doesn't trade it for BTC.) - Is the only option past that through a legal method?
