Title: Hello and my experience with blockchain.info and BTCPak
Post by: chickfilet on April 13, 2013, 09:28:47 PM
Hello everyone, I'm new to bitcoins and I'm trying to use bitcoins for the first time.  I used my blockchain.info wallet to directly buy a BTCPak.  The server returned that there were no paks available, but it took my bitcoins anyway!  Now I'm out $1000.  So far no response from blockchain.info support, but it is a Saturday.  I came on to this forum to talk to DBordello.  He seems like a pretty upstanding fellow, and I hope he can help me.  I saw his postings here:

Google turned up at least two other people who had lost their money the same way.  I hope BTCPak is not a scam, and I can get my bitcoins back.  Anyway, wish me luck!

Happy ending to my story.  No response from blockchain.info (it is a weekend), but BTCPak answered my email today (Sunday) and took care of it for me.
