I think market forces have finally found a stable price for the coin.

Over the next few weeks we'll probably see a slow climb, but it's not going to be anywhere near as dramatic as before.

This is great! The market has made its correction.

Now what will make all the difference long term is what happens in the actual bitcoin economy.

Time to stop speculating, hold your coins, and build the market.

bitman, it's been trading within a range for a little more than 24h and you call stability? this is the calm before the storm. volatility ebbs and flows.

The time to worry is when it is stable.

That is the time to sit down and take a deep breath, maybe go for a walk, catch some shut eye. Because soon after that is heart attack roller coaster time.

just a technical point, as the picture looks very bearish to me right now, too --

but we still haven't crossed over the $55 recent low. so we're a little higher up on the curve, but we're not going to see $130 (analogous to the small second peak) for awhile.

Don't tell me what to do.

With the new attention from speculators and big money investors very extreme volatility may be the new norm in bitcoin for a few years.

Is this a joke or is the O.P. just stupid?  It hasn't even been a week since Bitcoin went from $266 to under $100 in a few hours.  Mt. Gox has been on and off line more times than I can count and you call this stable?  Not to mention the increasing interest.  There's not a fucking thing stable about bitcoin right now.  When the inept exchange called Mt. Gox becomes a thing of the past bitcoin can begin to find it's market price. 

I'm assuming this is a joke/sarcastic post, but on the off chance the OP is serious, what would you consider makes it stable?

 Low:$85.50000
 
Can it be considered stable with a 50% daily fluctuation in value?

Let me post a graph, because there appear to be a bunch of complete retards on these forums who think you can post a graph and thereby make a coherent and well-supported point simply by assuming that readers will assume that bitcoin price will match that graph, simply because the trend has happened elsewhere at another point in time:

no realy though i think the day its stable is the day im done with bitcoins. 5-6 years.

Stable is boring. I want more roller coasters so I can make more money! Heck, even when I lose money I'm lol'ing so hard irl. Well spend dollars for entertainment.
