Were talking about major disruption of the free flow of information. This free flow of information is what creates market sentiments. Exchanging of ideas is how markets work, as these graphs are measurements of psychological pessimism and optimism. We have hall monitors who liberally use this tool and it majorly affects the market dynamics. For example, over the past two hours I have watched the Expanse market start to capitulate, the trolls started cheering and one after another the sentiment was silenced, and the capitalization stagnated. There is too much power in that hammer, and there is too much power with the data the mods have access to.

It's an important tool in the scene for sure.
And i have witnessed them taking their moderating to ridiculous levels.

I told one of them they were an asshole and want an apology immediately for your big mouth.
And the dipshit gave it to me on the spot !
Because he knew damn well he was super mega rude and way out of line.
..par for the course around there.

The problem is they want to exert levels of control that i would deem unreasonable.

The biggest problem with Poloniex is easily the chat mod's.
I have seen it my self endlessly.
Most of it is logged on www.polonibox.com so there is no room to deny fuck all.

I'd say they have had the worse Troll-Box mod's in crypto since i started.
With maybe McxNOW coming in close with Cryptsy in the later days.

what can we do about it to make our voices heard? This is the first sort of dialogue Ive been apart of on this matter, and I believe its a fairly recognizable issue as poloniex currently has the lions share of exchange volume

I never understood why people use trollboxes on exchanges.

Whenever I started reading them in the past trying to figure out why would people use it, it was always just a cesspool of stupidity and shilling.

Troll boxes is a tool used by exchanges not only for shilling but it serves as first impact absorber, if somebody get wronged, instead of posting it anywhere else, which will do negative to the exchange, the person whos been wronged may vent out on the trollbox.

Absolutely I agree. But there is a situation like this. Banhammer Polo and Polo, why don't you get manipulated for your winner Coin? Example: Pascal Coin  ;D

i am seeing banhammer in polo and most of them gets banhammer is because they said a word like "pump", "don't be late to buy" bla bla bla. by the way, pascal coin as a new comer in polo now getting increase in percentage and i wonder if the price will be up so high for more.

Those who have logged in at Pascala 160k are watching by crying. I think it is entirely at risk from now on. You can win and lose.
