I should point out that $10 is a huge, huge amount of money. 2 billion people live on $2 a day.

Downloaded the application and posted my bitcoin address in the app. I hope I get this 10$ and that it is not a fake app that spies on my files.

The app is actually very cool! Instead of giving away 300$ to people that will not even use the app anymore, run a advertising campaign.

I already received my 10 bucks, that was surprisingly fast!
I have no idea what spoutcoins are for and this campaign will not be effective since people will use app, claim money and abandon the app. I am not like that, I am actively using it now since it is really cool.

Anyone can download. The blue button is just the compose button (+) at the bottom of the app that you use to post a new post "a Spout"

I don't see why your advertising it as anonymous. We need to give you our location to use the app, which gives you a very good understanding of possibly where we live/are at, and if someone uses it at their house, you could track them down. Used it at their work? You can narrow it down quite easily. Shopping mall? Might be harder, but you can get a fairly good idea.

It is not anonymous.

It's the most anonymous app of its type but no I wouldn't rely on it as a political dissident, whistleblower, etc. Snowden should stick with Telegram for the time being in other words. But for regular consumers, it should suffice.

Nice, I have just downloaded this app and receive some Bitcoin. Thanks for making this promo. However, I still not understand why you develop this app. Is it for people to communicate anonymously and safely? If it is true, it will be very hard to attract people to your app since most of them prefer to use facebook or twitter or slack. They do not even care about the anonymity and the security

Oh nice offer I want download but can we download this app on our android mobile phone or not I really want download it but I dont have itunes mobile phone I must buy better mobile phone to download via itunes because I dont like this android which I have right now.

Its mostly about anonymity and ease of use. But also location. You can adjust your location radius from .25 miles all the way to the entire world and see what people are saying. The trouble with FB is that its linked to your real identity and your friends, family, and co-workers can see what you post, so youre inhibited. As a result you don't post alot of your most compelling content because of reputational liability.

Fair point though. Maybe you should add an option to allow users to pick their City instead of using location services? Would be better that way.

hi please be patient the OP said that android version will launch at february so at that month we can try this application and hope the OP will give same bonus with the iOS version :D may i ask? that app is only for chat or it can used as spoutcoin wallet too? i am not iOS user so can't download the app :(

Thanks! Good point - I hadn't seen that. I like your suggestion; we already give the option of hiding your city but hiding location completely is a good option.

God damm. I am too late to receive this. Just woke up and realized that there is a thread about free $10. This was an amazing giveaway. 10$ is a really high amount you can give to people just for downloading apps. Anyway, I still download and test how this app work
