It is more than twice the Volume of Bittrex and there is an active chat.
Actually I've been grinning ear to ear with where we are going.
I will be moving ALL my coins off Bittrex and get ALL our projects/coins listed there
besides those two other exchanges that will do us all very well.
There is much chatter about Bittrex, I did not want to believe it.
Time will tell.

IF you did not encrypt your wallet they will stake unless you choose in options to set aside
a portion of coins that are spendable/will not stake.

IF you encrypted your wallet click on the lock icon at the bottom of the wallet and enter your password
for staking only meaning they will stake but nobody can send coins without entering your password again.

Since i have been using XQN for a while now in my asset, i think people would be glad to know that it stakes really nice (i got ~3.5% growth in last month, wont say total amount used but lets just say its not much and no need to invest thousands of $ to get something back). Why? Well XQN is my assets powerhouse and OTC trading coins lets to bypass those pesky exchange fees :)

With MikeMike you are sure, project won't be abandoned, and left to die. This is i believe best thing today in crypto, and alts have future only with such persons. I remember, and you all can find proofs in KORE thread, he fought like lion for comunity and his beliefs. Im sure you won't find better person for this job!

I almost sent you a PM last night.
There were ones that became new Team members that took over 2 of them and had promised Communities to come through.
VIOR was one the VIOR Community approached me to get involved since many there had been involved with KORE.
I did not want to get involved at first which is always the case and saw as I did with KORE there was a lack of
organizing nor serious drive to do whatever it took to come through. I stepped up to the plate and coming from
someone that mainly only lurked in coins and did not post. It is important to read my posts and read them carefully.
EDIT: I send out a notice so there are no misunderstandings.
Patience and Community Involvement will be rewarded.

I will be watching this project for some more updates. Cheers.

Great to see the ball rolling. Do we have a roadmap or soft roadmap on when things will take place?

We are not posting any dates. I could see the existing wallet minor re-branding and upgrade in the next two weeks.
The main release is when the development is done. My next meeting/update with one Dev is early next week.
I could see it taking a bit yet for the main release and hoping to include something a bit special.
IF not then we release it with the listed features in stages as posted in the roadmap section.
This is why we wanted to at least do an existing wallet update in the interim.

Good to see people here. With regards to facebook page it is very easy. Maybe dev can just create it so he can easily just post some simple updates if no articles and links are available.

An active social media presence is critical but this is not who I am nor am I good at it
and have only used them a few times I can count on two hands and only when I had to.
Eventually I see the importance of me possibly making posts but this is not about me.
I will create a specific email account for all projects Social Media accounts and have them all
transferred there under my control so we dont lose them.
There will be a kill switch, a backup of at least two people I trust fully that will
have the creds to gain access if something should happen to me.

If you can send them out, I would suggest you stake them in the wallet. Def. get the bootstrap it will save some time.

Rising bitcoin prices and falling altcoin prices made it difficult to maintain the promised 10Btc minimum value without draining even more and emptying my personal funds in a difficult personal situation as well.
Please remember we have collected 0BTC from asset holders in this process, all money have come out of my private holdings to try refund those who got burned in the CERIUM asset when that team left everything.
Due to this, the Fund will now work as a Staking pool while we rebuild and restructure the XQNPosFund in general.

What does this mean?

If everyone else redeems their coins, the staking balance wil be 800000 XQN+ at all times.
This is a temporary way of running it until we have decided how we want to rebuild the new Fund.
Nothing will change for shareholders, you will own what you already own original.

I am working on further liquidity programs, along with all previous mentioned plans already outlined.

How to redeem you XQN coins?
Send me 2 PMs, one before you send to the burn address containing the amount you want to burn and your desired payout addy.
One PM after containing the TXid for the burn.

The rate is still 1618%, but the max stake pr input is capped to 16.18 coins as you and most are getting.
Actual NETWORK inflation however is around 50% annual and dropping...
To max your stakes, split up your coin blocks in as small inputs as possible to avoid hitting the max cap.
Something in the lines of 10-50 coins pr input is very nice, it will take longer for each input to stake, but you get a much higher annual% reward.

As mentioned before a tip to stake most is to split up your inputs in very small sizes to try avoiding hitting the 16.18 max stake.

If its windows, go to quotient's appdata (open a windows file browser like documents, and type "%appdata%/quotient" in the address bar, then make/edit a Quotient.conf file, these are my nodes, but I think there is a link of active nodes on the site somewhere.

You need to activate the feature coin controll in option tab.
Then choose send, now you have a new box named inputs in send menu.
When you click on that you are able to choose the inputs you want to split up.
Choose the input with smallest amounts of confirmations, and send it to yourself using the custom changeaddress option to be the same as your main staking address.
This way you "split" your input to two inputs.

Another way without using the custom change address option is to choose the input with smallest amounts of confirmation, and send the amount you want your inputs to be sized at to your main staking addy.
The remaining of that block will go to a "change" address in your wallet, where you can select it again and continue splitting until you have reached your target.

A automatic way, which however takes longer time is to set the desired block size in the option meny "staking" tab.
Now your wallet will automatic split all stakes larger than your desired target.

If this is confusing, tell me where you are stuck and i will help you out further..

in the settings tab under options all i see is main, network, window, display, staking nowhere do i see advanced.  ???

I just found it myself. Go to settings, and under "display" it is at the bottom. check "display coin control features (experts only!)". Then go to your Send tab in your wallet, and the "inputs" box will appear at the top.

I found this older post by someone in the first thread that just guided me through it, if it helps.


So basically from your Send tab, click "inputs", open the tree and select one of the blocks you want to split, click OK. Get your main staking address, check the box "custom change address", put your address there. Then also put your address in the "Pay to" and fill in the amount that you want to split, for the block you selected. Repeat this until you have split to your liking.

Atleast that's how I think to do it, I just did for the first time.

Luckily, it seem you managed to find it anyway,and are on your way to max your stakes.
If you have the option auto optimize checked, the wallet will keep the inputs at your desired size and not combine them.

This exchange has been working for me so far.  It would be nice to be listed on Cryptopia or Nova too.  Is there a way we can get listed by voting or do we just have to pay?

It is kind of a dead exchange but did send them
the updated XQN Icon when we moved XQN to this new OP page.
We had plans to get XQN listed in a package deal on a large exchange but it fell through.
Cryptopia was and is plan B.
Waiting till the new wallet is released could be the best option so we dont have to pay maintenance fees again.
Please realize all has been in the works and planned on.
Just is not the right time...
There was a prelinary XQN 2.0 roadmap put together over a month ago but a few thngs changed
so was waiting on some confirmations on other tech and direction of XQN.
Now it was the best course of action to wait since IW is back!  :)
I also have found it good not to make claims and post roadmaps till we are near 100% sure
we can follow through as we all have seen this in other coins. It is not our objective to pump and dump.
This could put back in the roadmap some of the projects we had planned on for XQN
sooner than later. We are also discussing other options IW, I and others want to include.
IW and I had a few hour meeting last night and are scheduled to follow up this evening
and will bring it up then.

hi guys,
new problem. i had to restart the laptop because it froze on me. then i went to restart my quotient wallet and got this error:
program assertion failed!

expression:pindex->pprevII pindex->getblockhasj()==(!testnet ? hashgenesisblock:hashgenesisblocktestnet)

i tried to download a fresh copy of the .exe and run that but same error. bad enough it is taking weeks to sync now i get this error.
any ideas?

Copy the folder quotient from appdata  to another place just to be sure you have a back-up . then delete all files from quotient without wallet.dat, download blockchain from here http://cryptochainer.com/dir/?page_id=365 and move the files from that arhive in appdata -> quotient let the wallet sync and done.

ok to get this straight, i saved a copy of all current files in the quotient folder including all folders. then i went o original folder and deleted all files and directories except the wallet.dat file. now im downloading the bockchain. then i extract that into the original folder for quotient?

ok i got it, only thing i had to do additional was import my .conf file with the nodes. but it is alot closr to being done syncing. lol thank you for that info. :)

What is the total coin supply, i cant see in the OP?

my god i have more issues with this wallet then any other. i was wauiting for the sync to finish which even with the blockchain info still was gonna take forever. then my laptop froze up so i restarted it and restarted the wallet to resume re-syncing the wallet loads blockchain info then says loading wallet....... then after 60 seconds it shuts down and thats it. i treid 3 times. never had issues with any of the other 20 wallets i have. even  to sync the longest was like a week, but this one seems to be alot slower.

That's really strange, XQN is one of the smoothest older wallets I've had, never an issue once i got working nodes. Did you use the bootstrap?

yea i used the updated one and just deleted all files except my backup for the wallet.dat
then downloaded it again and tried again but same thing.
this is the only wallet i have issues with.
im running windows 10

I am sure there are more but I usually have between 16 and 29 connections at all times. Hope that helps.

i added those to the master nodelist i saw. it was working fine in sync mode for week or so then one day windows did an update and then shut the laptop off. when i restarted thats when that wallet gave me a hard time. i have a ton of other wallets i open to refresh blockchain like lea coin, lana coin, pi coin, burst coin among others.

I can upload my datafolder tomorrow night, that should get you synced in no time.
I always restrict windows to auto update on the rigs i run windows on, since this often causes issues with wallets.
Have it notify you about updates so you can manually shut down the computer when needed.

So sorry for your troubles, it probably wont help you but it seems you are the only one having this much troubles.

You are most likely refering to the staking portfolio of XQNPosfund which is currently being rebuilt by the team.
I can do some personal trades with you if you want since i still like to increase my XQN position for various reasons, maybe in half and half for btc so in same time our portfolios can be rebuilt faster and stronger.

I have never had a problem with this wallet, I love it, I have many wallets and I wish that they were all as functional and worked as well as this one. A good coin at a great price right now.

this can be a YOBIT  issue only and not XQN..because sometimes YOBIT works slowly.

how many coins you send? cause yobit stake their coins... it is know... so if it was been bigger amount their wallet returned error and now you will need wait to answer on your ticket... i have same issue with my czecoins causing if there is so much inputs in transaction wallet return error and their system cant handle it alone... i wait for my czecoins third week :(

YoBit is very slow.
It took me a few days one time and takes a few days for them to reply.
Make sure you have all the info filled out in the ticket properly and provide them with as much info as you can in the message.
Be clear, concise professional and non threatening.
IF you just sent the ticket yesterday you might not get a reply till early next week since it is the weekend.

I would say Cryptopia or Novaexchange would be worth checking out for listing.  I've been looking at OpenLedger too but haven't used it.  A decentralized exchange might be good to avoid some issues.

IMO- Go for all possible exchanges that are fair volume and all exchanges that are decentralized.

Exchanges like to see solid community/development from a coin as a major requirement for listings.
This is why I was waiting till the first release before approaching them so whomever you do approach tel them know there will be a release in 4-8 weeks
and we want to be prepared on a few decent exchanges ahead of time so people have access to solid

There is a nice listing of current active peers here:

If you put some of these current peers in your configuration file you should be able to get connections.  You may want to clear out any old addnodes listings in the file just in case.  I've had some odd issues happen occasionally with some coins.  Restarting the router can be helpful too in some cases.  I hope you can get things working.

What would you suggest we do? Now we can pay to get it on Bittex,(maybe) but I worry about volume. I don't want to get stuck buying volume. I do think the coin has hope if we can get it on a better exchange. Just a thought.

Bittrex will not list a coin unless it has serious development.
It is the chicken or the egg.
This poster is not the kind of people we want involved with XQN or any of our projects.
Keep working on those other exchanges.

Downloaded blockchain files, replaced them in Appdata folder, made quotient.conf file:

Is your quotient.conf file a capital Q? Mine is, I'm not sure if it matters but you can try.

Change name of quotient.conf to Quotient.conf, and use skidogs nodes.

Yes, I have done it as well. In Documentation default name is not capitalised, but with Q it still does not connect=)
Maybe I need to try it on another laptop.

Did you try your other computer? I wonder if it is a problem with windows firewall.. Did you not allow it to communicate with private/public networks? (again, I don't know if that's important or matters, just an idea.)

Otherwise try removing everything (after backing up your wallet) and try a fresh install and sync from the bootstrap?

You will need a wallet. I believe it's 12 hrs. Depending on how many people are getting POS (wallets open) 1600% was based on the original coins. You will not get anywhere near 1600%. Maybe someone can log in and give exact figures. I have been getting less than 3% a month of my total coins. And this is only after my coins are separated into separate blocks. There is a max amount you can get per block. (16.8 ) As of now we are at a little of 32 million coins.

I think Coinexchange sort of works but I'm hesitant to deposit coins because the wallet status always shows "offline".  I've put out a few support tickets about the issue and the say it 'works' but nothing seems to change.  Maybe it is just my browser, I don't know.  In general I like Coinexchange though, so I might get up the courage to try to deposit again.

I've deposited on Yobit and had things disappear and I I've purchased coins and not been able to withdraw them so I don't use that exchange any longer.

I had some issues in the past with Yobit but none for the last 6 months other than slow transactions which was BTC issue.

I did not list coinexchange since it is a tiny exchange.
IMO- No use putting XQN on tiny exchanges.
Best to pick the largest ones we can reasonably try/afford getting XQN on.

Cryptopia was not long ago a small exchange.  Wouldn't hurt to get on Tradesatoshi.  Who knows, maybe it is a large exchange in two years time.

I don't think there is a 32bit version out there. You can stake as low as 100 coins.

Hard to tell. It depends on how you set up your wallet. The wallet has a max amount of 16.18 coins per block. If you set the preferred block size where you get less than 16.2 you are on the right track. In the last 3 months I have been staking I only got 10% and that's with few people staking.

Can someone give me an instructions to get the wallet to sync?  Like instructions so simple that a 10 year old could understand them.

4. if your having trouble changing the extension you might need to give it permissions

Love the project, and I want to support the network by staking. Can someone please post a clear way to optimize the wallet for staking.

I have browsed the  13 or so pages of the thread and I have only come up with these two variants:

1.) Adjust block size to about 16.2 (since per previous post, the largest blocksize is 16,18)
2.) Display Coin Control (experts only)

I was able to complete step #1, easy of course, but after checking the box for  the Display Coin Control... I am not sure what else to do.

Please advise.  Again, I want to help the network and also stake in the most effective and efficient way possible.

Surprised my YoBit withdraw happened in 30 seconds. I was leary of even using that exchange after reading some of the previous posts in this thread.

under the + sign up top change your preferred block size around 150. Check the box auto optimize. It will break up the blocks for you.

The wallet setup was fairly standard.
I didn't have good luck with the Cryptochainer blockchain bootstrap, however.(maybe an alternate link for Blockchain and Peers)

I would start a support ticket with Coinexchange.  I've contacted them recently and they claimed that the block chain is not moving when it seems to be clearly moving.  They recommended contacting the users group or developer, so maybe someone could help find out what their issue is?

Along that line is there a current block explorer now?  If not, maybe we could think of starting one with https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ (https://chainz.cryptoid.info/) or someplace.

I have the same problem.... please DEV when this problem is gonna be solve... the wallet of XQN in coinexchange is down... they put these massage "Warning: The wallet appears to be offline currently. Please wait until the wallet is online to deposit funds."

Hmm, not sure. It has a little randomness to it. I would guess over 500 and then it would take time to break them up in the wallet. The wallet does it for you, but it takes time.

 hit windows icon and type " run  ".
 enter "%appdata%"  and drop the file in quotient folder and change file name to .conf

I see your old message do it manual recombine them into 1000 xqn blocks. Is there a better way to do it automate split into 1000 blocks? and is there a way to prevent the block from split every 16 hours after set 1000 per block?

The Yobit wallet was disabled.
A ticket was sent in last week notifying them that the wallet was down/in maintenance.
Yobit has fixed the stuck/offline XQN wallet in 4 business days and it shows is on the current block.
Make the opportunity to thank them for their timely response.
