I used to watch Ultimate Fighter season 20 where it was all Women Fighters. First UFC season with only women fighters in it. It had featured both Bec Rawlings and Tecia Torres. Where Tecia Torres  lost twice that season. I like Tecia Torres she is very flexible with her style and is capable of adapting. Bec is a proper Brawler and will look to keep the opponent at distance and try to not take it to the ground. Should be a good match up.

Im not familiar with Fight Night fighters usually, but the fact that there's a guy going by the name Korean Zombie is probably worth watching. Im not doing any betting tho, since I have no idea about how those guys perform. I remember watching some Bermudez fights back in the day but that's all.

Im not doing any betting, I will wait for the McGregor vs Khabib fight for big bets.

I bet Connor Mcgregor wont be fighting Khabib Numagomedov anytime soon as he will be focusing on fighting Mayweather in a boxing match and he recently said he is willing to sit out the entire year for the fight against Mayweather. Connor is really not interested to defend his belts and if this goes like this the UFC will force him to vacate the 155 pound belt too .

Yup.  I wouldn't say massive but there is good value there.  Herrig hasn't really been fighting a lot so the edge will be on Grasso since she's rising and seems hungrier to become a top 5 in her division.  I honestly have a hard time choosing between them because they're both pretty hot.  ;D

This for me will be the main event.

Last time I watched the "Korean Zombie" was his match against Jose Aldo. So that's why, because he served his military duty. I'm going to pick and bet for Bermudez this time. I think the long lay offs and ring would be factor against Chang Sung Jung. I like his moving forward style and hit and be hit attitude but he will probably gas it out around the 2nd or 3rd round so Bermudez can take advantage of it by getting the submission or TKO.

Believe me, it will be worth watching. Do you know why they call him the Korean Zombie? Watch how he fights, all he does is move forward literally like a zombie. I am not sure what the odds are but I will bet for him if it is good enough.

Alexa versus Felice will also be good for different reasons. Look at the pics posted by Tokeweed.

It's a bit of an exaggeration that Jung fights like a 'zombie' and only moves forward all the time, hence the nickname Korean Zombie.  He does do it at the later rounds though, the minute he senses the weakness of his opponent.  Watch this video of him vs Leonard Garcia.  Final minutes of the fight, Jung knows he can take Garcia's punches and goes for it.

Both and Herrig won their last fight, Grasso's win was last November 5, 2016 also at UFC Fight Night, while Herrig won last July 2016. So in terms of who's hot coming from a win and still have the momentum in her that gonna be Grasso. I'm thinking that its going to be a close fight but Grasso's profile looks better with zero loss out of 9 fights compared to Herrig with 6 losses out of 11 fights.

My Picks:

Herring

under 2.5 rounds Hill vs Andrade

I will watch the "real" weigh ins, see how people look.
Some leans
under 1.5 in the OSP fight
James Vick
Tisha Torres (prop bet handicap -3.5 )
still undecided on those three though

UFC has to come up with good fights and i really do think that UFC is putting up fights more frequently and it is becoming more hard to follow all these fights to be frank.
Dennis Bermudez (16-5) vs. Chan Sung Jung (13-4) (Featherweight)
I would go with Dennis Bermudez simply because Chan Sung Jung AKA Zombie is out of action for more than 3 years and i am not sure how that will help him out and the last fight i remember is the fight against Aldo in which he dislocated his shoulder and then Aldo finished him up .

The fight night is fast approaching and i am interested in the three fights in the entire fight card
Dennis Bermudez vs  Chan Sung Jung  and  Ovince Saint Preux  vs Volkan Oezdemir and the third fight is Abel Trujillo vs James Vick.
Dennis Bermudez could win the match against the Korean Zombie simply because he was inactive for a very long time and ring rust is a big factor for any fighter and so it will be a win for Bermudez. OSP and Volkan are interesting to see as its an unpredictable match up and i think Abel Trujillo will stop James Vick as he is a more accomplished fighter.

Herring going to get it done

Looking forward to seeing the return of The Korean Zombie, a very exciting fighter with great heart.  He's been out of the MMA game for a few years because he served in the Korean military, so it'll be a tough return fighting Bermudez.  I still think he will come out with the win though.

Alexa Grasso didn't look too confident in her faceoff with Herrig too.  Herrig looked like she wanted to get business done and win the fight.  I'm curious if there's a back story behind the scenes between the two.  Anyway enjoy the ceremonial faceoff video.  :)

It is a really tough fight to predict as ring rust will be a major factor here because to be out of the fight game for three years is a really long time and his return fight is against a tough opponent in Bermudez ,he should have faced someone with less pedigree on his return fight.

Daniel Jolly def Khalil Rountree

Confidence is a main thing here and Felice Herrig is a top rated fighter and if she can take Alexa Grasso down and dominate her in the ground then it is her game to win .When it comes to Anthony Hamilton vs. Marcel Fortuna i am not sure why Fortuna decided to move to the heavy weight division as the size difference is evident between the two and it will be a factor in the match and i do expect Hamilton to win the match.

Here are the results of this event.  I must say that I was a bit disappointed with Alexa Grasso's loss.  It would have been nice to see here become somewhat if a phenom in the world of women's MMA.  It just shows that experience is still key in this sport.

Yeah, most of the pros thought Grasso would win but felice herrig did really well against Grasso. Experience does matter especially in the Womens UFC. It was close but the judges had the unanimous decision to Herrig. Herrig now wants to take on VanZant or Waterson. I dont think she will be able to beat any of them but I guess now she deserves it.  IF she does fight VanZant. I'm going to go all in on VanZant. :)

Really bad day with my predictions ,Chan Sung Jung defeated Dennis Bermudez and it was an impressive performance but then the rest of my picks suffered defeat this evening and OSP match was really close and Jessica Andrade gave the next victory for my prediction.

Good pick. But how did you know? Are you a wizard? He he he. At those odds I would have doubts on Herrig's chances of winning. The sportsbooks usually know the probabilities better than us.

Allthough that is generaly true, that is not how sportsbooks always make lines.
Sportsbooks do not always balance and instead choose to fade the public, this is a simple way to explain without getting totaly off topic.
The jobs that we have as bettors and people making picks is looking for value.
For example if I was the person making the line I would have put it at even money on that fight, so in my opinon there was a lot of value on Herrig.
Why?
I documented why on my site https://degenbet.com (https://degenbet.com) there is also a video there were I discuss this and some of the other fights on the card. I also got a pick wrong! I had Hill vs Andrade under 2.5 rounds. How Hill made it though the fight, I dont know. I wanted to bet on Andrade but there was not much value in 1.20 or less for her to win, so I went for the under 2.5. If you watch the fight you will see what a bad beat that pick was, it was close, but that is not good enough.

Sure Grasso is good, and even rocked Herrig right at the end, that was not enough though.
People undefeated for a long time somtimes go into "do not lose mode" you saw this in her fight vs heather jo a little.
Lots of distractions! Super Bowl, Undefeated, young and put on the UFC hype train, and in Texas almost a home play since she is from Mexico facing Herrig who can be kind of a bully in your face style fighter, 3.45 mispriced.

https://twitter.com/theog__/status/828205280328560641 (https://twitter.com/theog__/status/828205280328560641)
For confirmation you can also check out the "real" weigh ins
This was right before they said "116" which is the max she can weigh, does she look really ready to go?
Compare that to Herrig, she just walks in stands on the scale and is good to go.
Although the weigh ins can be hard to base a pick on alone, it can be a good way to confirm or to fade fighters that look like crap then.

TIP: Avoid watching the UFC hype videos. These are the documentary style shows they use to hype fighters. They want to build an emotional connection between you and the fighter. Regardless if the figher is a 9.00 underdog they will do their best to make you think that they will win and have a good chance of doing so. I dont watch any of those videos untill im 100% sure of my picks and have placed bets on them. It helps me, it might help you too.

IMO . MMA is the best sport to find really good value on underdogs, just look around.

Korean Zombie is amazing, I love his style. A very dangerous fighter who I can see maybe dominating the division soon.
Korean Zombie really impressed with his performance and even with a three year lay off he came back and won the match in the first round even after taking some heavy blows in the opening minute.

MMA is a really unpredictable game and you really cannot calculate the odds considering the past performances.I have won some bets wagging for the underdog as the odd makers will give some crazy odds.

For confirmation you can also check out the "real" weigh ins
This was right before they said "116" which is the max she can weigh, does she look really ready to go?
Compare that to Herrig, she just walks in stands on the scale and is good to go.

Thank for the tips. I will surely check your website from time to time from now on. Also yes, Alexa did not look ready enough during the weigh in. Maybe the pressure made her lost focus and what has to be done. Maybe the woman in the picture holding the cover is really the sister of Felice Herrig threatening her. Look!
