Title: Is it still worth it to trade?
Post by: Frost on February 01, 2017, 06:16:27 PM
I wonder if someone still should get into trading Bitcoin at this point? There was a time with incredible aggresive swings so that daytrading was interesting, but now the movements appear but much slower. Is it still worth it to trade?

I think Bitcoin is always worth to trade, no matter if it is Idle or have crazy swings market is unpredictable.  I think day traders still have some profit even if the price swings is not that huge,  they are still fluctuating meaning market is still alive especially this recent 2 days.  We have seen an upward trend now after breaking $950 yesterday, those who bought at this price have already gained $20+ today.

yes there is no doubt that bitcoin can be trade at any time. currently the price of bitcoin is trading about 950 $, but still it is expected that bitcoin will continue to grow and very soon going to cross all time high level very soon. therefore it is still best time to trade bitcoin.

I think bitcoin will always worth to trade. I remember when bitcoin price about $300 - $400 and always rising until now, yes i know there is some dump from $1k+ to around $900 but thats normal and if we looking into general price actually rising up.  From that experience i still believe bitcoin will much higher next time.

I'd say it is still worth it to trade but if you're going to you must be doing it on an exchange with a low amount of fees if you want to be trading on the daily (daytrader)

If you're unable to do ID verification and all that to be able to be a day trader I honestly don't think it's worth it at all. I like to trade on GDAX through coinbase but I've seen Kraken get some pretty good reviews so you should check them out if you want to get into trading.

The stability is even more fluctuate than fiat if comparing. In this situation of price movement I think it's the best to trade in my view, also the chance to lose is decreased because the fluctuate is not like usual bitcoin be.
You can use scalping strategy in this situation.

Unless you have the possibility of trading with leverage or with huge amounts of bitcoins, I don't think it is an easy task to get good profits from bitcoin trading. I have personally preferred to stop it and turn to other altcoins, otherwise it would be almost impossible for me to get significant profits from trading.

I agree, it is more profitable to trade altcoins-Bitcoin pair.  I have seen people earning 10x to 100x of their holdings with altcoin.

I think it is still worth to trade bitcoin today, Bitcoin have many trading pairs not only USD or other popular money, Bitcoin can also be traded with thousand of altcoin in the market.  If it does not do well ing fiat pairs, why not try the altcoin pair.

Everything is worth doing when you do it right. Trading is something that will never change, old and trivial rule still stands - buy cheap, sell high.
The problem with trading cryptocurrency is that you can spend whole life learning how to do this and you still can lose money due to unexpected events.

Bitcoin is maturing, so in that regard, the further we are, the lower the intensity of the price swings will be, and the lower their frequency of showing up is. Especially now the PBOC has put a stop to margin trading in China. But to come back to your question, yes, it's still worth to trade. I never force myself to constantly do daytrading as it's just a waste of time in days with no volume and volatility at all. That's why I keep waiting patiently for heavy dumps that trigger massive amounts of panic in the market. That's when I start to wake up. Now with Chinese exchanges being subject to fee based trading, the volatility will most likely slowly diminish even further. But still, trading will always be a major point of Bitcoin. People should only lower their level of profit expectations due to lower volatility.

Just like other saying, we all know what kind of bitcoins to be trade. Bitcoin value is so volatile, we should know what will be the highest peak on it, then it is worth to trade on. All of us wants bitcoin value on its highest peak. We should invest on those altcoins that are having high value.

Yes, ofcourse trading is worth of your time. Its a high risk but you can have high profits from it. If you see bitcoin now. The price rose huge amount in just a couple of days. If you are holding some bitcoin. You should wait more days because it could pump again soon. If your not holding bitcoin. I suggest altcoin trading is good for you. Its not a good idea to buy btc right now. Altcoins are affordable. I prefer short trading on alt trading because its too risky because some alt are dumping so easy and never pump again.

There is full of empty replies in this thread. It all depends on how good you are in trading. I know that most of the people here that said yes are mostly losing traders and are not part of the top 10% of winning traders. So who are you to say that it is worth it?

Talking about volatility, when it is low it is the best time to buy because the prices are more stable. If you are a day trader and prefer more volatility then adapt with what the market is doing. Day trading is less profitable in the current condition of the market.

That's very normal, you don't have to worry if ever you experience that things.  Its the heart of trading actually, for sure all traders faced it that too before even up to now. However, if the movements appear but much slower, that's the time I think you need to look for the other coin/token which you think is movable then do the trade again.

Bitcoin will always have its own place in the market of trading. There is no need of high fluctuations for good traders. Many people think that Bitcoin is for long term trading now, but it's not true yet. If you are a newbie then better start with some altcoin and then move on to Bitcoin trading.

for you i am guessing no. because from what you are saying it seems like you don't know the first thing about trading and have never done it before.
if you look at price of Gold, USD vs other fiats, and other examples you can see that all those prices are changing a little and looking at the trade volume you can see how many are trading those and making profit.

Still should get? In the first place, why it has not to be done? We will disregard those slow movement in price since it's not totally slow since the beginning. Also as time passes by, there are added people in the circulation. Bitcoin is not meant for day trades like the usual behaviour of it in the past.

For much accurate result, why try if yourselves and began risking some money with the current price rate. Or if you don't want to try it, check the weekly average of bitcoin price and you will see what I mean.

In my opinion , It is to be better to do trading instead of doing nothing , because day by day people are exiting from trading but less numbers of people are entering in the bitcoin , So making deals , means buy/sell altcoins speedly , became slow .
Because the reason , that trading is much legit way to make money than other ways  , So I will still prefer trading is good and best and also will remain best .
It may be possible that profit in trading became low and slow but earning profit is sure .

I think it's better to start trading bitcoin before trying trading altcoin, because fluctuations from bitcoin tend to be good in my opinion it is better for newbies to trading bitcoin. But you're right, it does not require high fluctuations to start trading and with fluctuations that tend to be stable it has been can get profit. So big or small fluctuations, trading for long or short term it does not matter because the most important must follow the conditions.

Yes it is, at least if this time is the right decision to buy bitcoin. Just wait until tomorrow will come, $1000 will have passed. Trade is always worth with your effort and time.

Right now it is not the right time to buy bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is very high. Even if you sell them when it reaches to 1000$ but you will get only marginal profit on it. Bitcoin trading is always worktable and it will give you profit when you act to it correctly.

if you can get cheap price of the increasing of bitcoin price then trading is still worth to do. i think as long as we can found any difference for the price and we can get it easy, then we can continue to trading bitcoin. but if we get difficult to get the difference, i think its better to wait for a moment until the price is looks stable then we can analize and buy bitcoin.

op now is the best time to trade if you are a leverage or margin traders. Bitcoin when from 915 dollar yesterday and went all up to trade today at 982 dollar that is a gained of over $60 within twenty four hours. I think this is the best time to trade. Arbitrage traders are also making it big as the different between the exchangers is very high now.

From all trading BTC/USD is good platform where you can make some decent profit on it. In BTC/USD trading you need to be very careful because it's market is volatile, you need to have lot patience and dedication. If you get the bitcoin at the cheap than it right time to sell them because right now the price is bit higher.

Why not , since it became slow but still aggressive in the list of making money .
Earliar I  was trading with my money and btc at the yobit but from time to time the activity and increase in the number of user didn't increases and the activity of the traders became down , After this I goes for the poloniex and bitrex , I found that these exchange sites are much active then other .
But the OP is saying is true also for other in some manner , but the reason behind these is due to increase in the numbers of altcoins per month ,So the users are usually get distributed in all over altcoins .

Bitcoin trading has always worth it but in recent time the price has been fairly stable which makes day trading difficult but at the same time, Alts have proven to be a very potent alternative the issue there is knowing the right coin to buy in other not to make some mistake. I believe you already know that based on the way the question is being structured.

the smaller the swings get the better it is to trade, it actually becomes easier because the changes become more predictable and logical. whereas in highly volatile market nothing is certain and you can never make successful trades in day trading.

besides bitcoin is not yet like that. as you can see there has been a nearly 7% rise in the last day alone and it has not yet stopped.

i am not agree with you i think it is still good time to buy bitcoin. and selling at 1000 USD will not be a good decision. i think the bitcoin has still a good potential even to cross 1200 USD very soon and even then we can expect that the price of bitcoin will take some more months but after that will cross 1500 USD, therefore holding bitcoin for next few months will be a good decision and can give you a good profit.

The blood of a true traders is not worrying whether the swings in the trading is aggressive or not. Because the reason why most traders became patience in waiting it is the self discipline was being applied at the moment they do trade. Meaning, any moment or anytime we do trade due to it is worth to do it as a trader.

Before you say such things and appear dull witted. You should consider who you are giving the advice to. If you give this advice to a person who does not know how to trade well, that is almost everyone in this forum then it would be better for "almost everyone" here to do nothing instead of continuing losing their Bitcoins in the exchanges.

Trading on bitcoin is always worth  even though the price moves so slowly as of now we could able to make profits out of it and that would depends on what kind of trading style do you have.If you do short tradings then you know what to do its still profitable in my own point of view how much more on long term trades.

currently we can see that the price of bitcoin once again crossed 1000 USD level. therefore i think short term investment in such a high price is a little bit risky, if you still want to invest then long term investment is the best choice. because it is expected that this time the price of bitcoin can cross 1500$ level in next few months. therefore if some one has bought bitcoins below 800, he has a good chance to double their investment within few months.

Yes of course and just because the price is becoming stronger day by day, I don't think that needs to be bothered and worried about.

Instead just take the advantage and more hopes that the price is going to keep on increasing and that will depend if you will keep on holding or sell.

But better to be calm and wait for some more and just be ready on what is possible to happen.

B8tcoin is still very worth it to trade these days. Even if its price goes down, it doesn't stay at that price for a long time. In a week or so it will go up again and you can sell your bitcoin for a higher price and gain profit. Unlike altcoins, their price is very unpredictable. Bitcoin's price can be predicted. It doesn't dump much like what an altcoin does. But trading bitcoin will also require some huge capital to feel the profit from it.

Not only about the volatile price that recently not there.
But also the current price quite high per 1 bitcoin , makes people a little bit doubt to invest huge amount.
When the price around $300 there a lot of people around me holding bitcoin more than 10 bitcoin and trade daily , but now ..... less than that. Not as worth as when in low price i guess.

yes we have two good examples of that, one when the bitfinex issue accord and the price fell down to 500 USD but there it stay only for a day or two and after that the price of bitcoin recover its position very soon, and after that in previous days when also have a good example when the price of bitcoin fell down below 750 USD and it also stay there not for more than a day and now again we can see that the price is trading above 1000 $ such good and fast recovery.

you have two options in trading you either do day trading and use the daily short term fluctuations to make profit, in which case there is always a lot of room to make a lot of profit as bitcoin price is still volatile. and even withe less volatility the fluctuation will be there.

or you go long, and for that you need to invest soon before the mass adoption and leave it in your cold storage not touching it for a couple of years.

of course it is worth to trade, maybe bitcoin swinging is slower but you can trade bitcoin with altcoin, or you can just simply buy bitcoin and wait for a year and then trade it, at that time I am sure the price will be higher than the time you bought it, but eventhough the swinging is slow but there is always an opportunity to earn some profit

Of course the best time for training is when the prices go up.
As I have said this before , I would like you people to also know.
Like the thing I'm going to tell you people might be confusing but if you guys understand it would be amazing for you.
Now the best time to buy is when the prices of bitcoin go up.
When the prices of bitcoin will go up you guys will have to give less dollars. ( If the trading system will be based on bitcoin).
And so goes for buying.
You guys can sell is when the prices will be less.

Of course it is worth to do trading. But you need to have patience and the knowledge so that you will not lose (well it's a risk) in the long run. Making profit is your goal here but you have to remember that it's not an easy task you also have to invest time as well. So if you have the time and the bitcoin to trade then get your hands on it and try.

Friend, trading is worth a try and if you are truly traders there is no such as slow, trading is worth a wait. And making money is worth waiting too. Just make the right moves to do it and make it.Trading is best option if you have bitcoins and altcoins. Can make good money if you have some interest in trading.

Trading with bitcoin is really worth it if bitcoin's rate aren't rise or dump rapidly. Better to trade in a consistent market of bitcoin. Because if you do trading on a long term trading with bitcoin pairs and votality doesn't occured, then that is profitable. In my point of view, trading is really worth it to trade because it is much profitable, besides it will help you to know more about altcoins and crypto currrency coin.

yes it is still worth it but to get more profit we have to concern for altcoin too not only bitcoin because sometimes bitcoin price movement was very slow and hard to get profit from it but altcoins trading also not really bad because if you found the exact altcoins which have potential to grow with very fast the profit will very good and it works for me all this time

Can you prove that trading is worth it by showing us your trades as proof? I know a lot of the time, most of you are not telling the truth especially when profits in trading are concerned. 90% of "traders" lose money and the winning 10% mostly do not post here on Bitcointalk. So that means a big majority of all of you who said that trading is still worth it are either losers or are not active traders at all.

I wonder if someone still should get into trading Bitcoin at this point? There was a time with incredible aggresive swings so that daytrading was interesting, but now the movements appear but much slower. Is it still worth it to trade?
For trading bitcoin to fiat money it is not worth for me, because will need large capital,
except you use much capital for trading bitcoin to fiat.
But for trading altcoins of course yes it is still worth because cloud made good profit from a little capital
also we can use large capital too on trading altcoins.

Of course it is worth to do trading. But you need to have patience and the knowledge so that you will not lose (well it's a risk) in the long run. Making profit is your goal here but you have to remember that it's not an easy task you also have to invest time as well. So if you have the time and the bitcoin to trade then get your hands on it and try.
yes i also think so that still it is the best time to trade bitcoin, because the price is still trading in a low value as compare it to its potential value. people are no interested to buy bitcoin and those people who already have bitcoin they are not going to sell their bitcoin for any cost. they are waiting for the price to increase more. so i think those people who are going to trade bitcoin in the present time, so they are still in benefit.

As long the prices do moves in any time then bitcoin or any altcoin is really worth it to trade and we could still make money on that.We might not able to make on big swing trades but we could always make scalping which is a method that give profits if your good enough.

of course it is worth to trade, maybe bitcoin swinging is slower but you can trade bitcoin with altcoin, or you can just simply buy bitcoin and wait for a year and then trade it, at that time I am sure the price will be higher than the time you bought it, but eventhough the swinging is slow but there is always an opportunity to earn some profit
yes that is right it is still good time to buy bitcoin,  bitcoin is just trading above 1000 USD but it is expected that the price of bitcoin will increase more. and may be this time bitcoin is going to hit 2000 USD in nest few moths, therfore if a person can afford so he has a very good chance to trade bitcoin and then hold it for the price increase. hope that he will get a good profit from it.

have you ever done day trading yourself?
i think if you had done it you would have known that it is still good and profitable to day trade even if there isn't big swings around in the market.
bitcoin is not yet there. and the stability you see from time to time is temporary because people want time to accumulate without causing the price to go much higher than the level they are comfortable buying at.

If its forex its worth because of the leverage but I think not in bitcoin particularly. But it could be worth the earning still if you are going to trade a lot of BTC maybe 100BTC that a slight movement in the market can be worth in buying and shorting.

It may be a lot  worth on Altcoins because the rest are still moving up to 5%.

Yeah the high price of the bitcoin has been always a huge problem when it comes to bringing new investors because they are always afraid of putting huge amount of money into it considering it does not have a stable price or a stable growth rate, and it involves a lot of courage to get into it but no risk no earn.

I would say yes as one can still make money in bitcoin trading (irrespective of slower movements) because there are many exchanges out there which provide leverage facility so using that facility one can earn good amounts of profits even in small moments but to be honest a lot risk is involved in such trades and I have lost 100% capital because of not putting stop loss.

Its still profitable as you can seen the price movement is increasing even the movement is slow the price is jumping high that actually it can gives you good profit.. also that is why the price of bitcoin is increasing because of traders more traders are buying and more price increase..

Me too . that we all can earn profits through this kind of strategy, but we all must know what will be the cause and effect of it. We should determine whether or when we will be using our bitcoins, and all other altcoins. We must know when will we can convert it. We can just say but we must think on what we will be going to.

Its still worth to trade but then you have to look at the situation.  Price had been stable so far for days, that is something to be wary though. It could either drop all of a sudden that you'd have no time to turn it into USD or it will quickly burst up. Its going to astonish you still whatever happens. As of this moment anything could happen and risk is higher, if it turns out to be the later. Those who bought at the start of the bubble is right in time still.

Just keep in mind that bitcoin trading principle is different from altcoin trading even both are experiencing a highly volatile price. If those persons that is eyeing to be a great trader someday, they will surely encountered the exact answer why bitcoin and altcoin are different. Also just don't read trading basics, make a time to test it by themselves and seen in actual how trading really works. Bitcoin trading will be worth a lifetime while in other alts, there are only selected.

Not putting a threshold in which your money would flow down the drain is actually an intelligent idea! Just kidding. Well if you're gonna trade, first and foremost you should already keep in mind that a HIGH possibility of you losing money is along the lines, that's why you need to prevent it by putting stop-losses or thresholds. It is still profitable to trade but most profits nowadays come from btc-alts trading.

The worth of trading comes into existence only when we are giving our 100% efforts. When we are missing out something in our efforts, we can not expect comply worthiness. Bitcoin trading will support anyone to earn a living but we need to be fully prepared for a proper trading.

Yes, trading is worthy. Especially if you have a skill on that. You know if you are into trading you do not mind if it is slower movement because trading is worth a wait so you can  earn a lot, and make profit on that, in trading timing is much needed, it totally goes up and down all you  need is to wait for it. It is actually worthy if you are going to make life of that trading. But you can trade anytime in your own will and totally own risks and since the value of bitcoin is increasing so trading is totally worthy.

Yeah, that's what I learned from amateur trading. I used maximum leverage in forex trade and thus suffered great loss even in small movement on the price chart and since then I always put stop loss and target price in every trade. I feel forex comfortable than alt coin trades.

Yes that is a great strategy to earn profit with bitcoin trading. along with ups and downs in the price the price is also in the forward direction so if a person do not find any time to buy and sell then they just need to buy at this time and need to wait for longer holding that bitcoins in hs wallet and after a few months the price will increase more higher and he will earn a bigger profit.

Yes, the worthiness of our trading is highly dependent on how we are performing for profit making in trading. There would be no meaning in trying trading without enough knowledge for profit making, when we are trading without knowledge it will lead to only losses. Then the efforts will get no worth out of it.

No doubt that there is high degree risk involve in investing money in bitcoin specially in present time when the price of bitcoin is really trading above 1000 USD level. but  i think long term investment is less risky as compare to long term investment.

The swings are still there so trading could still work out in your favor, though if you really believe in bitcoin and all that jazz you could just buy bitcoin and hope it will go up like many members of this forum go ahead and do.

If you'd like to be a day trader I think bitcoin and its volatility are still ripe for it and you could still swing some money out of bitcoin per day, at the expense of it being accepted everywhere as the volatility is what kills bitcoin.

This is the right time to trade, when bitcoins moves, altcoins will be affected as well and they follow either on the same way or the opposite way. As a trader, you do not have to limit your trading with bitcoin, you have to widen your scope so you can see every opportunity to make an easy profit. Day trading is advisable in crypto if you want to maximize your profit.

Yes it's still worth to trade. You can trade bitcoin with altcoin or just buy bitcoin and keep it until the price goes up. Both you can earn profit.

It will be always worth to trade because the market is still tough and a lot of coins that are coming but that doesn't mean that you are going to invest to them. Just invest to those coins that are standing still and tough in the market. It also depends if you are a day trader, if you are that type results are on a daily basis.

Why are you saying that? Are you a winner in trading? Can you prove that you are a winner by please showing us your trades? We would appreciate your advice and tell us what altcoins are profitable so we too can trade them.

Trading on altcoin could able to give you decent profits compared to bitcoin in terms of short tradings but we should really be careful on choosing coins on the market since there are lots of coins out there which do pump once and dump hard which would really lose out your money and on bitcoin its really worth to trade specially on both short and longer ones depends on your amounts to spend to trade.

of course it is still well worth. if you do a trade and see that its activity decreases, does not mean we should stop. it may just not yet. Well, in some time, it must go back to normal. Well, I think it is often the case.

But I believe we never worry about the fluctuations and activity of traders will get diminished in any near future as more number of new traders and investors are coming into bitcoin system now a days.

Some traders are worrying about the huge price levels of bitcoin right now is having, but one of the phenomenon of traders must be any price would be the right price to enter into market, because market will be having unlimited growth to fetch you the required profits for you. It is highly true with bitcoin trading too.

Sounds good to me, At least if you share it to us it will be much appreciated for a trader like us to do the procedures of proper trading. Actually, that's so easy to say but hard to apply once your there in the trading platform. Because if trading is for real there will be no analysis and prediction to be happen. but the truth was trading is not that easy as other's says. this is only just pop up in mind.

For me no. Because the price on bitcoin is still increasing so It is worth to wait for now and watch the growth of bitcoin than trading so, I would like to suggest that just wait for now because the price is not stable so it is risky to trade for now but you can earn a little bit large of money by waiting because the price of bitcoin is still pumping and pumping. For me the trade for now is quietly not the season but for halving of bitcoin is season for now so just wait until the price will get stable.

Volatility is exactly what traders are looking for, so it doesn't make any sense that they wait till the price stabilizes again. Risk is always involved when it comes to Bitcoin, so that doesn't change much in this regard. Traders with enough experience know exactly how to handle the market, where they are able to catch up accidental losses without much problems with the profits they made before that. It's called collateral damage, because no matter how skilled/experienced you are as trader, it's impossible to only make profitable trades.

There are still someone who can manage to get profit in every short term of period in trading yes some of them are too greedy on wealth but sometimes they loosing coins too not everyone winning on trading trading is still profitable where you can make profit in short term but you need to analyze things before involve into this one you need to spend time to time in trading and you need a group to know what coins will be going up or down.

It depends on how you are going to trade and with your strategy. Not all the time you can have the same results of being productive with decent profits. Short trading is good and most of us are doing that but there are some alt coins that are really good for long term trades and that's what I do with my bitcoins.

Can you please advice us on what altcoins are good to trade that are not pump and dumps? How much Bitcoins have you made in trading the altcoin market if you do not mind me asking. I have been asking all the, what seemed to be expert traders in this thread the same question but no one likes to give an answer. Maybe they are to modest to tell us their winnings. All they do is encourage everyone to trade altcoins because it is "profitable".

Yes, people who are experienced still can make profit out of trading, and they do make a lot because some of them invest a lot, but as for the new users it is hard to say that it is profitable even if they do earn sometimes they lose it because they don’t have the experience and more importantly ignoring to learn like many others.

Something I have noticed with some traders here is that, the ones without some background knowledge of how currencies are traded, thinks that trading cryptocurrencies is guess work or no correlation with trading forex, but it is not, strategies have their place just as in forex, that is how buying low and selling high would not end up being an illusion.

In past two months bitcoin price was under 1000 $ then over, then under, over, under, and now its 1003 $ again. Do you notice this fluctuations? With trading you can make profit now, its not about is it worth it, its about picking the right time for trade. Its still not over with aggressive swings, that is still happening and I cant see the end of that, bitcoin price cant be stable at the moment, so trade while you can, time for that is still good.

Trading is never obsolete and there are always the ways to make the profit from this activity. The prices are volatile and if you know how to obtain this advantage, you will have the key which lead you to the success in altcoin/BItcoin trading. The more you trade, the more you will realize how good it can be and how much profit you can earn by trading.

if we stay online in the market and see the fluctuations of the price, i am sure that we can do trading and of course we can make profit too as long as we can place order buy when the price is getting low and sell it when its high price. we see in the market this price is happen to often and if we are not getting panic then i am sure we can still making profit, i think we need to be patience when our buy order is getting dump but you must stay calm and prepare to sell your bitcoin after you see there is a pump like we seen before.

If difference exists between international rate and your country price then yes trading is beneficial. Provided you comply all the rules for International trade.

There are various fees as well involved when making payment though Debit/Credit card

This is certainly beneficial, trading is good all the time. although the movement is only a little bit but there are still other options. we now can trade altcoin with more choices of course. besides altcoin also have prices often rise and fall quickly. we could take advantage of it.

Trading the altcoins aside, one can actually concentrate on Bitcoin as the fluctuations we see in Bitcoin price every day, is rather an open invitation to make some money. It is however regretable that most traders instead of seizing the opportunities, run for cover instead every time, they see the market going south. I think it would be of help for those missing out, to take a while to do some studies and research, that's where the key lies.

Yes trade is still worth for almost all of the traders because the price of fluctuation is going to high and low at a good range level of price and one day it will be at a higher jumps. I am saying like that because it already happen in the past a few months ago when the fluctuations were high and suddenly higher jumps in the price started to occur and the price of bitcoin increased to double.

nobody is going to show you proof because it means they should reveal to you and publically how much they own and how much they are using in trading and that is always a terrible idea to do.
and besides even if they show you proof, that doesn't mean you can also make profit just because they do!
you have to have their experience to be able to make profit from trading altcoins mostly and have more experience to trade bitcoin versus fiat.
if you think you can't or it is not worth doing, then don't trade. but if you are willing to put in the time to learn and accept the risks and headaches then start learning.

Practically no one will not prefer making use of fluctuations for profit making and right now bitcoin prices are trading between some ranges hence every trader will be able to books some profits even with some small level of analysis itself. As long as we do get chances to make profits, trading will remain worth. No doubts in that.

It's always happening that buyers will always wait for the right time and even they will see that the price will decrease $20 and more, they will simply buy. And for me, it will be always worth it to trade whether it is with bitcoin or alt coins. As long as you know what you are doing, then you are going to be fine with it.

If you look for higher margins than trading is not worth for you. Every where there risk involved you need to move according to market in order to make profits from it. I can trading is better because many big traders don't waste time talking here, because he will make higher margins. But we are making little profits but it will take some time to make those little profits.

As long as the market continues to function as a free market, I think that volatility will always exist, and this will probably always bring the possibility to anyone who wants to trade. I think the only limitations that may exist will depend on yourself. First you need to accumulate capital and learn about the market, and that depends on your effort.

Bitcoin has a tedency to increase price in a very short time period as we saw that price goes high or increase from 800$ to 1000$+ so trading of bitcoin is worth at any time, you can trade bitcoin anytime no matter what's the price going because bitcoin is unpredictable you don't know that price will increase 100$ in next few hours. And price of bitcoin will increase and reach 1200$ in the middle of next month.

as we can see that in previous days the price of bitcoin was trading above 1150 USD and after that its price fell down to 750 USD then started increasing and reaches to 1080 USD after the price again fell down to 940$ and and now trading jst above 1000 USD. so i can say that it is one of the best time to invest money because the price of bitcoin still expected to cross 1250 USD level very soon.

The volatility of bitcoin is so much better now. it looks like PBOC won't give a serious impact on the price of bitcoin.  It like what were you saying. the price of bitcoin will always increase ASAP. there is nothing to doubt about it.
in this time we are on $1000 and some months later we are on $1500

Ok can you then give us proof that you are a winning trader so that we will know for certain that trading is indeed still worth it.

Most of the posters in this thread are losers in trading. How can you all belong to the top 10% of winners? It is impossible. Therefore trading is not worth it for the losing 90%.

I wonder if someone still should get into trading Bitcoin at this point? There was a time with incredible aggresive swings so that daytrading was interesting, but now the movements appear but much slower. Is it still worth it to trade?

Whatever happen in the flow of market in trading platform, doing trade will always be worth to do it. As long as there is fluctuation happening inside the graph and coins are many swinging or even swinging are getting slow, still there is a heart beating in the trading stage. It shows only that any exchanger's are continue exist because of their active traders.

How can you say that it is still worth to do it? Are you a part of the top 10% of the winning altcoin traders? If you can answer yes. Can you prove that you are really a winning trader? I am asking since you said trading is still worth it.
An understanding that the market has three types of movement - it is either going up, down or sideways. For each of these movements, a different approach to trading becomes necessary or the trader is better off staying out until, the market reverts to conditions he/she is conversant with.

and you are right it is not for everyone and most people around here are losing money in trading but that doesn't mean it is hard or the percentage is 90% that is just unreal! if it was that bad, people would have left trading forever.
and besides, learning how to trade is not impossible. it just needs some work and putting in some effort to learn it and read a lot and gain some experience.

Bitcoin always showes us with it's changeable price that trading with bitcoin is always key of real trading experience. It was 1050$ and after chinese exchangers stoped withdraw, it immediately falled and today we saw 976$ but now it's nearly 1000. So what wants anything more experienced and profit finder trader?
Well, despite that fact I think 4-5 btc we can to keep for trading but in future to my mind bitcoin price will really rise up and it will be better if we keep much btc for that time.

Yes anyone can earn from bitcoin trading, price is changing fast and that gives us opportunity to buy low and sell high, bigger difference between low and high means higher profit.
Just you need to be brave and get into trading, just talking leads nowhere, you need balls for trading, more bigger more better, trading is not for coward's.

Yes we all can see that and anyone who will understand it will start to trade because the fluctuation is much higher to go up and down. Now the price once again came to $990 so it is the time to buy because in the coming days the price will again increase to higher to $1000.

The real essence of the Bitcoin of why it is becoming more profitable is that many of the community here are doing trade in the exchange platform. Where I can call it the heart of Bitcoin is depend on the traders who most often trade in the trading platform. Because without it the value will be  useless also., everything will be like a garbage only.

That's right the price for bitcoin almost don't change for several months already, it hasn't such fast temps of grow as before. But I think bitcoin still has all opportunities for some serious grow that can double your money.

No bitcoin prices are keeping fluctuating every day so on monthly basis also you can find good price movements to make use of those fluctuations for trading.

I have not noticed any change in trend of bitcoin and interest on it from people. So, it would be always good to tarde with bitcoin fluctuations. It is worth the time and analysis we are taking with.

It's always worth as long as the price shows so volatile
Even with the current price requires more capital to start earning bigger profit
I know a lot of people concern about that , trade $1,000 to get few bucks only
But at least it's better rather than have to trade on a stable  price like stocks and it's limited not like bitcoin that 24/7.

True, but it is better to trade it now when the price is stabilizing at $1000 because there are talks that there might be a potential drop and when that happens it will be a great opportunity to buy it again, so sell now rebuy later, although the price might stay like this for quite some time in my opinion, so if you are looking for the short term don’t.

It is always worth to trade bitcoin. Ignore the votality and wait the target rate you planned to be hit by bitcoin, this would help you to make an effective trading. If you would just used to trade without making any target to be hitten by bitcoin, your trading would not be worth since your target profit aren't reached.

Yeah trading is still worth it and profitable because if you are that type of trader that looks for a long term profit. You can do it with trading, depending on what makes you comfortable. If you are comfortable with buying and selling of bitcoins with your fiat go for it but it is better if you'll go also with alt coin trading, go buy some NEM now I can it's making a good scene.

As long as the market continues to function as a free market, I think that volatility will always exist, and this will probably always bring the possibility to anyone who wants to trade. I think the only limitations that may exist will depend on yourself. First you need to accumulate capital and learn about the market, and that depends on your effort.

Back to basics, or with other words "only limitations that may exist will depend on yourself". Bottom line is that with current price oscillations there is a lot of space for trading. Market can be free, or controlled in ether way trading depends from how clever you are for picking right moment for buying/selling. Like in gambling people should trade responsible and to never to risk all the money.

yes planing is too much important in trading. if you are a good you will do planing for it and will make a strategy. i think it is still good time to invest your money  in bitcoin, because people are expecting that the price of bitcoin will cross 1200 USD in next few days. and then will continue increasing. therefore it is still good time to invest in bitcoin.

Well yeah, if you're only looking for long term profits.
But volatility is kinda needed for day trading, which is probably what OP was talking about, looking at the context of his post.

That said, the last few months there has been a lot of volatility, certainly enough for day trading.

day trading is difficult i think for day trading you need to have good experience in day trading. other wise day trading is very risky. i think if a person invest their money for long term investment the it is more safe as compare to day trading.

No, I don't need good experience bu I just need good volatility on the market movement and I can analyse it. Trading does not really have a risk comparing with the other method such as gambling. trading is a good job.

I think it is worth it as long as you can make some profit. You don't necessarily have to spend a lot of time trading and even if you make a small profit, that Bitcoin could be worth a lot more later.

Small profits but for future bitcoin prices ? I guess many traders are into bitcoin with that kind of motivation alone. They will save all their profits hence they are just using trading as a way to collect bitcoins instead of faucets.

I am sure many people are still using bitcoin faucets by considering future bitcoin prices. When bitcoin will be worth, trading it for small profits also will be worthier.

Correct. As long as you can make profit. This is the first honest answer I have read in this thread. The problem with trading is in order to have a winner there always has to be a loser. We the amateurs have always done the losing. What we should be doing is to be honest with ourselves and the community. No more lies.

Yes is still worth it to trade because you can see now that the price of bitcoin is very high and volatile at the same time so that is why trading is still worth it to give a try. Trading also gives a great opportunity to multiply or grow your bitcoin in a slow-faster way because as what i said a while ago, Markets are very volatile to its price and that is what a traders like.

I know stastically that there is a 90% chance that you are a losing trader. So how can you really say that trading is worth it if you are really a losing trader?

I think bitcoin will always worth to trade. I remember when bitcoin price about $300 - $400 and always rising until now, yes i know there is some dump from $1k+ to around $900 but thats normal and if we looking into general price actually rising up.  From that experience i still believe bitcoin will much higher next time.

Your and thought and thinking was totally right, Trading is the heart of this bitcoin industry, I don't know if everybody will agree to me but this is what I really felt about it. And trading is is very profitable to me also to my everyday life. Also it is the life of the traders too, :D

That is how i trade altcoins too. I check if there is a lot of traders buying and selling that kind of altcoin. If theres a big volume and good support from its devs. I buy that altcoin and trade it for short term. If that altcoin begins to die or only few people are doing trade on it, i stop trading that altcoin and find others who has a big volume. I just repeat that cycle and my trading goes well.

Most of the member in this thread trading is one most profitable things if you really want to earn bitcoin. Buy simply buying alctoins in different exchange platform. I think even the motion is not that aggressives just important is there is profit daily even small amount of satoshi.

Yes, it's still worth trading,  I beleive this is still one of the most profitable ways to earn Bitcoins. But your profit will not fall out of the sky and trading has become more demanding so you have to be more skilled and experienced, more patient then before if you want to be successful. But it's worth the efforts.

Now up to the ETF decision is the time to trade specially bitcoin as the price is always
at its all time high. Also the alt-coins is doing good as well, ETH, ZCash etc.. so it is
also worth to trade those. And I always hear "Buy low, hold, sell high." So I think you
know what it means, you can start with small investment and make it grow. Make
it long or short term investment its up to you. Goodluck..

For me when the Bitcoin prices already rise so high, I hesitate to trade bitcoin. Yeah some experience when I came at a high price, and I ended up doing a fomo and stuck on high prices. Altcoin trading more feasible when the moment price bitcoin go very high. Because the price of altcoin will fall when the bitcoin price increased.

I suppose that it depends what you are trading it against.  some people who i know are trading bitcoin/altcoin pairs which is making them good profits.  but obviously like a gambler they will only tell you about the big wins not the losses.  and i think you would also need to beware of possible pump and dumps.

Right now we can see that Bitcoin is becoming more stable this year, I would not recommend this for day trading as it will not make you earn anything. However for Swing Trading it is a perfect candidate in which you will wait for a correction of its price then you can buy Bitcoin and wait for it to rise back up. If you are not patient for a swing/position trade then you should look at trading altcoins instead.

Yes, it's still worth trading,  I beleive this is still one of the most profitable ways to earn Bitcoins. But your profit will not fall out of the sky and trading has become more demanding so you have to be more skilled and experienced, more patient then before if you want to be successful. But it's worth the efforts.
actually there is still too good potential in the price of bitcoin, and that is the reason that investing in bitcoin is still a good decision and hope that very soon the price of bitcoin will reach to the maximum and will give us more chance for making money.

This time is the best time for entering into the bitcoin because we are on the steady way and just waiting for the next pump in near of 11 march. and i think at the date the price of bitcoin will increase a lot.

Exactly, as the price of bitcoin becomes stable and has its floor price this is a bad thing for the day traders it's the right time now to shift and migrate first with alt coin trading. And while they are going to be on long term trading with bitcoins, it's still worth to trade if they know what are the possible and good projects to join and buy.

The price is not stable. You can see we are on above $1,000 and still increasing so where is the stable thing to that? If the price still went up then it has highly volatile and not a stable.

Trading will be worth forever. No way we can see the current price like this today if investors preferrably the big ones are not doing trades and uses big amount to shake the market. They are the one who are starting some good triggered so that average people will follow.

I agreed on this, trading is still much to do it and make it a habit daily, though I need some time to spend on this  figures of trading in the exchanges sites. This is the heart of the bitcoin world and cryptoccurrency.

For me, bitcoin is really worth to trade of. At this point, bitcoin is in demand and its price is fluctuating and nice to trade that we could get and earn profit well. But, in terms of trading is good for me. Its the matter how you will manage the timing its movement of fluctuating its price.

I do not see any new information about trading in your reply except for some insults to the earlier people that reply before you.  Besides your reply is also generic being said almost all the replies before you thus making it worst than empty.   If you think your reply/post is special because you insult other people you are wrong it is worst than the most empty reply here.

Indeed the unstable price of Bitcoin made it worth to trade.  The volatility is the key factor for profit in trading.

Bitcoin trade is worth it if you buy bitcoin in a low price now is the best to sell them as you can see bitcoin is very high now. If i were you am still hold it because bitcoin price is still going up. And this year is good to keep bitcoin as my own observations bitcoin can reach 3500$

That basic is order to succeed is to buy low and sell high and there is no specific price to determine whether it's low or high because that will only depend on our own evaluation, and our evaluation will always based on relevant factors (past, present, and future) market movement.
Everything is just speculation but a speculation with a good basis is right most of the time, so we should do that.

Lol. The term maximum isn't applicable to bitcoin because its price depends on its users, but it is true that because of its price we have an opportunity to earn money not because it is high but because it fluctuates greatly allowing us to buy low and sell high with a higher chances of gaining profit.

I wonder if someone still should get into trading Bitcoin at this point? There was a time with incredible aggresive swings so that daytrading was interesting, but now the movements appear but much slower. Is it still worth it to trade?

It is always nice to see people giving their speculations regarding bitcoins price but it will be more believable to add a supporting details to strengthen it. It is always worth it to trade because you are earning profits but OP is having a problem because the movements now is much slower compared in the past. I don't know what happened in the past but bitcoins movement is certainly slow that is why many people preferred it as a long term but not in altcoins. Altcoins are certainly the ones suited for day trading.

There is absolutely no way I can see the price come anywhere near the $3500 price you think is possible to happen this year. I however would like to see what observations/market analysis you have done to come to that conclusion. Even with the ETF this month approved I don't believe we will see $2000 this year. And that while the ETF approval is a big deal for Bitcoin.

It is still worth it to trade because the price now is very high for bitcoin and it always do up and downs on its price so it is worth it to play the market because we can make money on that. Aside from bitcoin it is still worth it to trade altcoin because they are cheap now and it is best to buy a lot of altcoins and then wait for the bitcoin price to calm down and then for sure the price of altcoin will spike up and it will give us a lot of money.

It will always worth to trade, since there are a lot of ICO's launching soon and coins throughout the market. Just choose those coins that has the potential to keep on growing because we know that there are also coins that are easily dumped by its investors. Always rely to the market cap it's a good indication of those coins and it will say that it is always a good thing and worth to trade.

:'( you are fully right . I have about 7-8 altcoin in my wallet of yobit.net but didn't getting any more fluctuation of positive price . Thier price are getting lowered . This increase in the price of bitcoin making us more difficult to make profit through trading .
About 0.1 btc are in altcoin , if I have holded this amount in my wallet then surely I will make at least 10$ profit  :'( .
Here I will suggest to everyone make buy of altcoin in small amount wisely because there are more chances to go down the price of altcoin because here chances are more the increase in the price of bitcoin .

It doesn't matter what the current price is when it comes to trading. All that matters is the market that is moving in a frequent manner as the volatility allows people to trade comfortably. If there is no volatility, then it's not worth it since the fees exchanges charge don't allow you to benefit from even the slightest price movements as was the case with Chinese exchanges at the time they didn't charge any fees. The only thing that matters for traders is volatility.

That is true. Volatility is the only concern of a trader because that is how they get profits in trading because of the movement of the price. Even the price is very high but the volatility is still there then you can still trade and it is always worth it. Price are just numbers that can discourage you in trying something but you need to remember that study first before saying anything.

but considering current bitcoin price are so high i guess it's gonna be a problem for those people who have low amount capital only. as automatically it's make you to have a bigger capital to make it really worth. imagine when you buy 1 bitcoin with $500 only but now you have to buy it with $1200 to get $20 or $50 profit in the volatility. pretty contrast enough isn't it?

Yes, with the current status of the price it is really hard to make any profit with trading, as bitcoin prices are continuously rising, I guess the holders are making more money than traders who are looking for fluctuations for making  use swing trading techniques.

I am not having any secondary thoughts about continuation of rally of bitcoin prices. Because if this time ETF will not get approved, sooner or later some other people will bring it into reality for sure. So only fluctuations will happen around 11th march but bitcoin prices surely will keep increasing.

Yes, Altcoin are more volatile than bitcoin which is very good for a trader who is looking for fast profit and a type of coin that swings faster than the traditional cryptocurrency which is bitcoin. Altcoin trading are also best for people who got small capital of bitcoin and they want to grow it in a shorter time with a big return.

Indeed, I think because of the fluctuation or volatility of bitcoin it is really true that many of the day traders are mostly getting their benefits every time it swings aggressively. Therefore trading will always be worth to trade ever. ;)

Bitcoin still have those swings, I think it will never truly be gone, just less frequent than before. Adding altcoins in your portfolio is alright, but not too many of them. It will be a headache monitoring too many markets at the same time.

It happened because that would depending on the movement of the price value of bitcoin. Once bitcoin down aggressively, there will be more swings happening in the exchanges platform sue to many of the altcoin will goes up.

Bitcoin still have those swings, I think it will never truly be gone, just less frequent than before.
The fluctuations of bitcoin will remain available hopefully for ever. Because in near future we cannot find any reason that bitcoin will trade solid stable. As long as demand of bitcoin keeps on growing, we could expect more swing to make use in our trades.

Adding altcoins in your portfolio is alright, but not too many of them. It will be a headache monitoring too many markets at the same time.
We need to be very much careful about choosing altcoins for trading. I believe only select altcoins are good for trading, this way we can have only very few established altcoins. If we go beyond those established ones, I'm sure we never could find chances to make profits with altcoin trading.

Doing trade was always the right thing to do for us to make profit responsibly.  and this was proven and tested already to the different successful traders in this industry. Because the normal and usual things happen here was when the graph move of course traders will also react on that things too. the more they act is the more chance for them to earn bitcoin. That's it is worth to trade :D

Investing in bitcoin through altcoins is smart investing. Does anyone agree with PoBH (proof of bag in hand) work? I like this concept but what stops a company from "taking the money and run" and using the excuse the business failed?  I like qibuck coin, however the webiste is not reachable. This coin is PoW/PoBH and buit on the passive income investing. This is empowering if built well.  Can anyone help me know more about qibuck coin the company?

I agree.  Aside from it being worthy to gain profit, it will never become obsolete.  We can tract trading records since ancient time.  They use goods in exchange of another goods (barter) which is no difference that today trading.  The purpose of getting a profit out of it never diminish until today.

That really depends on how you see Bitcoin. I'd personally like the price to become somewhat stable in the future, so it could be used as an actual currency and not just purely something for traders.

That's not going to happen in the short term of course, but maybe in a few decades.

Slow or fast bitcoin daily trading is determined by fluctuations and major issues, bitcoin transaction at this time is very slow because skeptics who always shouted by roger ver, but this doesn't apply to altcoin, up and down movement also applies to the contrary. Bitcoin still have those swings: of course !!

There's no reason bitcoin exchange market lost much of their users because "not worth it" and "slow movement", except if market was frozen by government and can't fix the loopholes that hackers exploited.

Yes, the rates is worthy to trade right now. And it depends on how many can you avail to buy. Because if you will buy right now as the price seems to be lower, the possibility of earning is going to be there. And many are speculating that the price will increase back at $1,200 and higher maybe for the next month to come or after this fud.

Problem is that the fud around the potential hard fork isn't going to miraculously vanish out of nothing. In order to put a stop to all of this, Bitcoin must scale. If nothing happens, then the same people trolling and spreading fud will only grow stronger. Only solution is a solution (larger blocks). From current point of view, I think we'll keep seeing the price hop over and under the $1000 level for quite some time. Nothing indicates a change.

Sick of these people that are trolling around, bitcoin's price should be skyrocketing right now if that isn't just because of them that stopped that progress. But with the current price of $1k, this is much better rather than seeing the price to see falling down, I guess I have seen this price flow movement last year, I don't know if that's the same thing.

For sure, if we didn't had all these scaling discussions and a potential hard fork to worry about, we would probably sit somewhere in the range of $1500-$2000 already. But unfortunately there is nothing that we as community can do. Regarding current price levels, I am happy to see that the $1000 level is holding pretty strong considering the current situation. It would be a sad thing to see prices substantially lower than the $1000 level.

Yes of course. It is obvious that the price of bitcoin will surely fluctuate but that's what trading is all about
you take a risk of selling your bitcoin and expecting it to reduce and stuff. Even if you see the current price
of bitcoin which isn't so high there are so many people who are trading.

With the crazy swings right now it's more practical to trade than ever if you're willing to work on improving your skills and spend a lot of time doing it as Bitcoin is famed for its volatility.  If you're dedicated and have nerves of steel volatility can be great for day trading.

Well we just go with the flow and we need to support for what is going to be the best for the bitcoin community. And it is why it's worth to trade right now, as long as the price isn't still pumping back to $1,200 take the chance of it or else you'll miss the chance of earning when the price started to increase again for the next days to come.
Don't just go with the flow. It is still better to consult others or read some articles regarding bitcoin's future market. I do agree, it's not too late to buy btc now since it's quite cheaper than last weeks. As the volitality occured again, expect pump but not quickly. It would rise up gradually.

As long as there is volatility, there will be potential for profit. Whether you will have good results or not, it will all depend on your abilities, and will depend, of course, on the choice of the asset you will be trading, as some assets are heavily manipulated by whales and P&D groups, making things more difficult.

Who says that is is not worth anymore to trade if the price is down? it just all about risk taking... if you are not brave then just sit and watch the other traders making out of profits. If you are not confident then try the other coins that you think you have advantage.

Yes, trading is still profit on every condition of market, the problem is not on fluctuation of price
but the problem on the traders them selves how to find formula of trading that gives profit
although the fluctuation of price are slow or fast and how to following the trend of markets.

well it is different times different methods kind of thing.
generally speaking bitcoin is the only worthwhile investment with low risk and high reward because of the real potential it has.
but there are times each year that altcoins start moving a lot and that means it is a good time to invest in them but only for short term during their pump time because other times you will be losing money.

so yeah, at times like this you go in altcoins, make the profit and get out before they start going down.

I just recently checked the price of bitcoin and now it's $1,075 at preev. It's worth it to trade, so if you bought earlier and you keep on holding up to know you will get good profit on it. Just like what I'm saying, bitcoin will always be worth it to trade. Those people that are thinking and saying that it isn't worth it, are the ones who wants to give people misinformation.
Trading will be always worth it as long as the market is moving and the traders or investors are still active then even the price of the stocks like bitcoin is low then it is still worth it to trade. Trading does not need high price of a certain coin or stock because it just need an active market where traders or investors able to do buy and sell.

Ofcourse trading was a big soruce of legit income and also still it is a way of income now because other ways to make earning are just like luck based depends and have no much big life earning .
But this is only trading that gives us more surity to make a better way of earning ( since earning is small but still have very less chance of loss ) .
So here I can't hear anything against the trading Because it is also a best way for the income for me .

You'll need a well stacked initial capital to start from will you ever want to make a sustainable form of living from trading. But the thing is, it's only possible for a very small select group of people. Others just make occasional profits, which is also depending on how the market is moving as a lot people just wait for a buy low sell high opportunity. Between buy low and sell high could sit months of waiting time. In that regard, it's better to see profits through trading as an optional benefit rather than your main income.

Yes,day trading in bitcoins is still worth. But,it is more useful in altcoins trading only since its market is highly volatile. If your investment is huge, then even a small change in the price of bitcoin would give you good profits. If the investment is very small, then it would be better to chose altcoins to invest.

No I don't think its price will go down to $800 again. Even though bitcoins price is affected by the launch of BTU, the buy wall is still in $1100 so it will need at least $10000 before the price dumps in $800.  For me the right time to trade is now since you can easily gain profit because of the fluctuations happening to bitcoins price. Just have to analyze the proper timing of buying and selling in order to maximize the margin and gain a decent profit from it.

It doesn't depend if the price of bitcoin doesn't change so quick. But if you will check the price now, it's good to see that it is now starting to increase. And it makes more worth to trade whether it's with bitcoin or alt coins, if you bought some at lower price then you can now have some profit depending on how many you bought.

The timing of crypto currency is coming and going to the peak of success so the more crypto currencies get established the more trading will be worth. In the current situations we can say that the fall of trade is not expected but more advanced time is coming when we will get more profit with trade. So trade is worthfull any time if you start the trade.

you see in yesterday market is swing with high GAP
bitcoin price incraese until reach over 960 dollar, or this mean incraese 50 dollar
trading still the best grow youre bitcoin if another investment platform bitcoin, cloud mining, hyip, ponzy site or more

Just like other saying, we all know what kind of bitcoins to be trade. Bitcoin value is so volatile, we should know what will be the highest peak on it, then it is worth to trade on. All of us wants bitcoin value on its highest peak. We should invest on those altcoins that are having high value.
yes truly agreed, because of the volatile of bitcoin is most often happen to many of the traders are getting profit on it, that's why most of them are always waiting for that movement in the market.

I wonder if someone still should get into trading Bitcoin at this point? There was a time with incredible aggresive swings so that daytrading was interesting, but now the movements appear but much slower. Is it still worth it to trade?

When you can earn approximately 5% on every trade, regardless of aggressive swings or now swings? You can. This is different than the buy and hold strategy. The buy and hold is more for short or long term investing, not for daily profits.

In my opinion trading bitcoin (which really means "selling" bitcoin like selling gold or silver) is the best opportunity today going for bitcoiners who are looking to earn profits and potentially high profits everyday... period. Again, this is being a bitcoin broker much like if you are selling precious metals. What if you could makes these trades day in and day out, every day?  You'd make a growing consistent income with bitcoin. Isn't that what you want, what all the people want on this forum? The smart bitcoiners are doing this.

To do this and to do it right, you just need to learn how and from someone who is already doing successfully, simple as that. This is because know all the pitfalls and how to avoid them. They know how to get buyers and where to buy new bitcoin each day at rock bottom "spot" prices.  So you need a little (from someone doing it currently and successfully), and you obviously some bitcoin to start, some starting trading capital, preferably at least $2000.  You could get away with $1000. $2000 starting capital is about $100 per day in pure profit at 5%. Then you can grow from there. The buyer demand is there and it's actually growing. And buyers are absolutely willing to pay the 5% premium (your earnings) for the excellent customer service and the reliability you give to them. Many traders are already earning thousand per day doing this because 5k, 10k, 20k, even above 30k trades are common and happen everyday. Just remember about 5% are your profits.  However you need some specialized knowledge to do this successfully and a supplier where you can purchase more bitcoin at spot easily everyday. Again I emphasize don't just pick up any course on "how to make money with bitcoin." Demand proof that the person you learn from is doing it currently each and day and successfully. You should be able to look at that teacher and say "wow that person explains things very well and knows what they are doing." I know such a person, so if interested feel free to PM me.

Actually trading is very important to earn money specially in bitcoin. As of now trading in bitcoin is effective to make money because the prices of bitcoin increase. If you save bitcoin it is enough for now to convert if you need a money but if not just wait until the conversion become higher. Right timing for bitcoin can help to make profit. Then for sure it will resuly a succesful or increasing money.

This was only the case like last year or 3 months ago, but right now with the current price making that much of a profit, even with a good capital and a good experience is nearly impossible, at least for the bitcoin market the other altcoins market if you diversify in them and work on learning the curve of the market in each one than you will probably be able to make something near to that but it is still not sure.

Sorry, but regarding the above reply nothing could be further from the truth (reality). The only thing I can think is that you simply just don't know what you are doing. Approximately 5% profit per transaction is very very attainable trading bitcoin, and you can do it consistently. You do however need some specialized knowledge and tools, and know how to avoid pitfalls like scammers and such. You can only learn these things from someone who is doing it successfully right NOW like I am. Anyone reading this can feel free to PM me for more information. With the information I can pass to you, I believe you'll be convinced.

Trading is still profitable and a nice source of income if you have the capital, the knowledge and the patience to do it. The thing is, for trading you cannot expect high returns immediately, but 3-5% a day is the best you can get out of your capital if you played your cards well.

In days with a decent level of volatility 3-5% is achievable in 24 hours, but even that is what I consider to be somewhat on the higher side. Let's sit in the middle and say you generate 4% per day, and that 7 days in a row (for the sake of this example assuming there is enough volatility), which comes down to 28% in profit per week, and a good 100% increase per month. Only an extreme minority will be able to put this into reality.

I agree somewhat. The group of traders I am working with are established and each does approximately 4% to 5% per day consistently, more often closer to 5%. The only difference between those who know how to do this consistently is knowledge and applying that knowledge as well as some access to resources (suppliers etc.).

Yes trading is one of the most profitable source of income as of now because both bitcoin and altcoin are doing good and their price was in a mode of you can play with and you get profit. 3-5% is a minimum for me because i can reach up to 10-20% of profit from my capital but it is risky and if you want to be safe then you can stick to 3-5% only.

Yes, making 28% profit is a really worth it. And if you get same result full month your investment will be double in 4 weeks. Which business will give 100% profit in 1 month? But sometimes in trading also we will get a small loss, don't worry about this you will recover it within few days. I totally agree that Trading is worth.

One of the highlights of trading is that it actually place a trader in full charge of what happens to their money, unlike most other ways for earning online, which in most cases leave owner of money at the mercy of owner of investment site. More interesting is the fact that, until one is not equipped with the right knowledge and skills, one stands a very good chance of increasing their capital day after day and especially as the market is on 24/7.

I do not think making daily profits from any type of trading is that much easier one. Because I do see some days bitcoin prices are showing continuous fall and some other days it will keep rising. I'm not seeing people are not making profits in downtrend unlike Forex trading.

Also I believe it is not recommended to go for shorting bitcoin trading as it is always viable to bounce back at any time.

you see in yesterday market is swing with high GAP
bitcoin price incraese until reach over 960 dollar, or this mean incraese 50 dollar
trading still the best grow youre bitcoin if another investment platform bitcoin, cloud mining, hyip, ponzy site or more

Absolutely right. most people who use the bitcoin very hoped so, because with just do that all they could get a bigger profit and good than use it more. And also with the price increase and the always changing every hour or minute, making the bitcoin on interest or concern the users that exist in the world is to be attracted to use it.Think about how you do to get a bigger profit with skill and ease you have, because with just such a big advantage doing can be obtained

Thats true trading is still profitable on this day.
You can get more income in trading if you investing too in some popular ICO on this day after they release it on exchanges you can trade it on Bitcoin with 10-50 percent of income but its depends on how we handle it.

I also had same feeling few days back but now I have studied the chart very closely. Don't look at bigger waves of chart, instead look for smaller waves where you can trade as much as 10-30 dollars a day with full garuntee. In days trading there are still some waves which moves in the house of 5-10 dollars giving you that right window to trade your bitcoins. If you do this carefully three to four times then I'm sure you can get into bigger volumes of profits.  :)

That's a normal flow of movement in the exchange platform, and I agreed that day trading was a very profitable thing to make money in this industry in terms of bitcoin trading, that's many became rich in trading, which means it is really worth to trade here.

Yes, only when you are capable of making profit both in up trend and downtrend, it will be possible to make profits on daily basis. Otherwise you must be a professional trader and buying selling at accurate price levels will get daily profits.

Still, profits on weekly basis of the best option for any trader to find the real worth of bitcoin trading. But I believe altcoins are good for day trading.

Actually trading is very important to earn money specially in bitcoin. As of now trading in bitcoin is effective to make money because the prices of bitcoin increase.Right timing for bitcoin can help to make profit. Then for sure it will resuly a succesful or increasing money.

trading is very profitable with cryptocurrencies but people ignore to read a lot about it and to learn & know when to make the right call to be successful at it.

Yes,day trading in bitcoins is still worth. But,it is more useful in altcoins trading only since its market is highly volatile. If your investment is huge, then even a small change in the price of bitcoin would give you good profits. If the investment is very small, then it would be better to chose altcoins to invest.
Agreed, we all know trading was really a profitable one. But as what others said trading altcoin is much more good than bitcoin, on altcoin there are coins  that are potentially capable has a chance to increase which is not the same value as bitcoin has but you can have an opportunity to have a bitcoin balance once it has been sold. Meaning, it is really worth it to do it.

Once you started to know almost everything with it, in the end you'll say that trading will always be worth it. Trading is porfitable as of now. But it is not easy but if you want to earn bitcoin you do research before buying altcoin, research for strategies . If you do research you can know if the coin you want to buy have potential to pump or not. You can follow also the expert trader and gets some tips to them. Those people are say trading is not porfitable because they not do research so the result maybe good or bad if your lucky even if you do not do research the result is good but mostly the result is not good.

Doing research for those altcoin or ICO's is not always working because of the 2/10 is only altcoin can survive for a long time and has possibility that are legit..
The better in trading you can choose  an top 20 altcoin like ETH dash Monero and bitcoin.. if you are smart instead of choosing ICO or other altcoin.
You can earn a good profit if you choose to trade with this altcoin because they are already have reputation and more people who are holding those altcoin..

I have seen some traders are making profits up to 50% of their capital within a day itself. But that will not be possible on daily basis, only when bitcoin is showing big price movements it will be possible. Still, there are traders they are making consistently 5% returns with their bitcoin and altcoin trading.

When we are good in technical analysis and having multiple strategies, I guess it will be possible.

It doesn't come up with a high risk if you are well trained trader. Trading just need some knowledge and if you have that then you don't need to be worry about losing money because you can minimize that with your knowledge. Fluctuations is one of the best thing you need in order to get a lot of profit which bitcoins had.

If you know what to do in trading you will have a passive income you will need patience
Trading requires effort, and thus profits you generate through trading can't be considered passive income. Passive income is income that you don't have to do anything for. Example; Earning interest is passive income. Cloud mining is passive income. Gaining income through the ads you have on your site is passive income. And there are of course more examples, but you have an idea now.

It doesn't come up with a high risk if you are well trained trader. Trading just need some knowledge and if you have that then you don't need to be worry about losing money because you can minimize that with your knowledge. I always say, if you're a well experienced trader, you'll be using like 75% skills, and the other 25% is luck. The 25% luck is something we can't rule out since markets can move into the exact opposite direction at any time. Reason may be that a large trader with the ability to move markets has changed his approach due to inside information. Or perhaps that one is looking to spontaneously buy or sell a huge number of coins at once.

We can really minimize the risk on trading if we do make it properly and well planned but its not easy as it sounds.Everytime trading with bitcoin is really worth and you are right we do make profits on its fluctuations and inflations on which most traders do really like this volatility because the more the volatility the more profits you had if you got the right way on doing trading.

Through trading one can easily minimize the loss, if one can have a long time spending upon analysis of the price movement as well have some backing to overcome the price fluctuations happening. The pro trader won't wait for right time, such user makes use of even the small variations.

Yes that's the main reason why it is always worth it to trade. And if you are bitcoin trader or just focusing with it. The price right now seems to be positive and climbing up again. It's the beauty of bitcoin trading, when the price becomes weaker just take the advantage of buying because for sure one day it will increase again.

Yes that is how the trading works because of the ups and downs of a particular coin. But it is not all about the up or pump of the coin we can get profit opportunity but also for the dump because if we see dump then we can buy them and keep it for long term to get the best possible profit as big as possible.

Trading is still profitable but it's not that "easy" anymore and its not for everyone. I remeber that some time ago almost everyone did some trading but now only the most experienced and skilled can make good results and have decent profit. That is how I see trading situation at the moment.

It will always profitable, it's basically not an easy thing but you need to believe on it. Once you started to know almost everything with it, in the end you'll say that trading will always be worth it. Because if you know and have an insight for the future forecast of a certain pump and dump of a coin, you know what to do.

As long as there is volatility in the price, then there is potential to make profits. All you need is enough fluctuation to be able to buy and sell with a profit repeatedly over time and you could make money by trading.

Actually, in considering trading, understanding pump and dump is important. If a trader don'st understand it very well, he would certainly lose his money in his every trade which is the reason why it is must be the basic and first thing to understand in trading.

There is no wonder on getting big returns with bitcoin trading in one single day itself because in high fluctuation I too do see traders got doubled their capital in quick time itself.

The real worth of trading bitcoin is coming into effect when we are predicting price levels accurately. If we are capable of trading swing, I believe it is so easy to make huge profits like 50% within a day.

Unless you have the possibility of trading with leverage or with huge amounts of bitcoins, I don't think it is an easy task to get good profits from bitcoin trading. I have personally preferred to stop it and turn to other altcoins, otherwise it would be almost impossible for me to get significant profits from trading.
We all know that trading isn't easy to do it in actual, it takes due process before you reach the position that you are capable to earn big in trading. Although it is true that making trade in the market is very profitable but it has big risk involved where all your assets are possible to be gone quickly. Consequently, You/We need to be careful of doing trade but if you think your doing the right thing, well go for it! as long as your getting profit into trading it means it is really worth for you to continue it.

I read swing trading is not that much easier one because traders will get losses in quick time itself greater than what they could get profits with other positions. We need to be very much careful for swing trading.

Swing is getting big profits at the same time big losses too. I'm not recommending to go for swing trading because we must believe on slow and steady way of approach.

That is much better to trade if the price are continuous to fluctuate specially if you are real trader you have lot of knowledge on what you are doing. But if you only trade in bitcoin to fiat its hard to get great income right now that is why i recommend to trade in altcoin.

Well everything has to start from small things trading included. You can't start trading with large amounts immediately as when you're just starting that's when you make most mistakes. You learn through experience and that would come if you trade on a regular basis. Making large profits will come but as with all that is with trading, the most important aspect is to have patience. It may take time but all experienced traders started out from scratch as well

That 2000 USD price is very easy for bitcoin to reach at least for this year and that is good for long term traders because they usually buy now and hold it and sell it for a very high price like 2000 USD. But if you are a regular trader, you don't need to wait for that 2000 USD because even though what the price is, it doesn't matter because you only care for you price volatility and that how will you earn by taking advantage of the fast movement of the bitcoin.

Trading so far still good to make it a habit as an individuals in this industry. It will always worth to trade because it is very profitable and can give us more skills in terms of technical analysis in applying trade in the market. Though the motion sometimes was aggressive and slow which I think its normal to happen in the exchange platform.

But not always 100% that the value of bitcoin will increase. you should always follow the trends if the price is getting low because of some bad news you have a chance to buy it for a cheap price to get benefits if the price will increase back to high price.. just like now the price is high again back if you bought a bitcoin last weeks or month when the price of bitcoin is $1k or below you gain a 15%-20% benefits of the price increase right now..

If there is not enough movement in btcusd to make a profit, I am sure you can find some btc altcoin that have good movement or ripe for the picking. It may take some time to look thru all those altcoins, but there are cheap altcoins that is potential for greater price. Or you can look if there are alt coins being pump, then trade that. Just get in and out.

Trading altcoins that are actually pumping seems risky because it just like getting into the hype and taking the huge risk because it can dump since its already pumped its price. I think it is better to just find some altcoins, do some analysis to make sure that it has a great potential in the market then buy a lot of them and wait for its market to pump and sell rather than joining into the pumping market which gives a high possibility to lose money.

It happened because that would depending on the movement of the price value of bitcoin. Once bitcoin down aggressively, there will be more swings happening in the exchanges platform sue to many of the altcoin will goes up.
Doing trade in the exchange platform will always worth to do it, it is very profitable to gain bitcoin. Though we knew, There are two ways to earn bitcoin in trading such as day trading and long term basis trading. That's why it is really worth to do trade in the platform.

There is no approach to trading that is easy or guarantees free lunch. A trader has to over time develop what works for him with knowledge and sound experience of how the market really works. For trading market swings, a trader who fixes his eyes on the huge profit that could be made instead of counter measures to contain the inevitable draw-down until the profit turns in, is already on track to empty pocket.

Trading is only worth it when a trader is equipped with right knowledge and skills, otherwise, it is just another drain pipe.

Always best option to invest on bitcoin is trading only. Apart from this all other platforms are so risky. you need to moniter the price chart frequently and need to set the trade value and volume accordingly. Other than that you need to have trusted escrow always while involves in trade in the forum. If you are using the trading site then automated escrows been using there.
No need to be patient or furious in trade. Follow this simple stretegy and you will be win always.

It is always worth to trade, no matter what because the difference in price occurs every day, so the occasion to make money happens also on everyday basis.
Even in the case  of uncertainty and panic on the markets, the price will make moves so for me, question "is it still worth to trade" doesnt make sense.

On the other hand, I would not go into trading without proper experience and knowledge to do a correct trades, I would imply that the most important thing I should do in that scenario, would be to get proper education about the markets I want to enter, and make trades on them.

Even the most successful traders had busted their bankrolls many times, just read the biography of Warren Buffet, and you will know what im talking about.

Trading in altcoins has almost got dead my friend because you visit yobit and you see a ton of ICO going on without even the proper plan and all in their threads. I guess better than altcoins trading is bitcoin's price trading because the price fluctuates quickly and if it even does not .. at least you are sure that you would earn in long time.

Added to this I would always suggest a person that if they start trading and they decide altcoins for some reason then they must never get excited because of the hoax created by the coin owners.

Yeah actually trading still has a scope but seriously and honestly enough I think alt coins now have become just like ponzi schemes they run a ICO we trust their words and buy them, the price may rise or may not rise ( that happens more often ) and that's it. I haven't seen much of the coins going the distance like earlier he had gems like doge, burst, etc

Trading will worth the time and efforts only when you are capable of avoiding mistakes. I agree no one could completely prevent mistakes but when we are repeating same type of mistakes than definitely we could never get the positive sides of trading. We must learn from the mistakes and from that we should avoid mistakes. This is possible over time and hence we could completely avoid mistakes.

Trading will always a worthy thing but we need to be skiled to find it. Without getting ready for trading, we will never find its worth.

It's not always about emotions and buying low and selling high. We always need to check its chart, the chart of it is where we can see Bitcoin's support and resistance with that being said we will know when is the right time to buy (near support) and when is the right time to sell (near resistance). But keep in mind that there will be a time where it can break its resistance and support we always need to watch out because every time it goes near to those area there is always a possibility of that happening.

Now, almost everyone knows about the Bitcoin and one of the best ways to get a bitcoin is by trading,
Yes in my opinion trading will always worth for us to do, Because of the trading we will easily to get the advantage.

You do realize that the far majority of the people (90-95%) only lose with trading? If trading was so easy, why are so many people then losing? Trading is one of the better options to make profit, I can't deny that, but it requires you to have a proper understanding of how everything works. You can't depend on lucky shots where you buy at a certain level, and the price goes up afterwards. It happens once or twice, but at some point you will run out of luck. Skills matter, and only a very few people have them....

Yes it's still worth to trade if you know what you're doing and know how to prevent mistakes, panic selling. Trading is not only buy low and sell high you also need to control your emotions if you want to profit

We can't avoid mistakes but we can minimize it when we trade. And it will always be worth it to keep on trading. Since you mentioned that we should control our emotion. Just always keep calm down and don't be too greedy, if you think that you had enough profit as you trade, don't regret that you had sold earlier.

Yes we are keep on doing repetitive mistakes but still no matter how many times we did those mistakes, as long as you are believing that you can have a very good time in trading, just continue. Because this type of career is something that you can apply, if ever you want to stop in crypto, you can use it to forex and stock exchange.

Yes ofcourse it is always worth it. It is always useful when it comes to selling, buying or etc. Trade is a kind of thing that business man uses. It is very useful and important to them.
Yeah actually trading still has a scope but seriously and honestly enough I think alt coins now have become just like ponzi schemes they run a ICO we trust their words and buy them, the price may rise or may not rise ( that happens more often ) and that's it. I haven't seen much of the coins going the distance like earlier he had gems like doge, burst, etc
yes i also think that it is still worth to trad bitcoin, as there is still potential in the price of bitcoin to increase more and more, therefore i think it will be a good decision to start trading bitcoin right now and secure a good potion also.

I wonder if someone still should get into trading Bitcoin at this point? There was a time with incredible aggresive swings so that daytrading was interesting, but now the movements appear but much slower. Is it still worth it to trade?

Its worth it, as long as the cryptocurrency that you are trading is good and accepts by the society. Because as usuall, more and more cryptocurrency online is now on the move. So as expected, the higher the cryptocurrency price, the higher the investors and traders have. For example, the Doge Coin, its now on its highest price and yet its still growing.

Yes its still so worth it. Trading is the act or process of buying, selling, or exchanging commodities, at either wholesale or retail, within a country or between countries: domestic trade; foreign trade. the act of buying, selling, or exchanging stocks, bonds, or currency: Stock brokerages typically charge a commission per trade. So trading is so important and worth it.

Yes,trading in Bitcoin/Altcoin would be very profitable.Since the price of altcoins is more fluctuating, good profits can be earned.but we should carefully select the best altcoin.

yes no doubt about that, in fact you can trade bitcoin at any time, as we can expect that the price of bitcoin will continue to increase in future also. although the price of bitcoin can take some correction but still we can expect that the price of bitcoin will continue to increase more and more.

Yeah you are right, because the Bitcoin price is always be volatile so we can trade everytime when we are need.
But if we want to trade, I suggest to trading altcoin, because the price movement of altcoin is very faster than Bitcoin.

Volotality can be taken as an advantage of a trader. In this case, as bitcoin volatile, that is the best time to sell your altcoins/crtypto currency coins into bitcoin and wait for its rate to rise again. And then as you have your target of bitcoin's price, that's the great time to sell your bitcoin into altcoin/crypto coin.

My suggestion is if you have money to invest, then split that money in two ways. Buy some Bitcoins and invest in any site to increase your capital or keep it in your wallet long time. It will give good returns. And another method buys some altcoins and do trading. Alt is the best coin to do trading. Most of the traders prefer altcoin to do trading.

but to me i think in present time the best trading option is bitcoin, i think you do not need to invest your money anywhere else, you just need to hold bitcoin and then wait for some long time and you can get a very good profit may be more than any other investment, because still there is very good potential in the price of bitcoin, and it will continue to increase for a long time.

Bitcoin has always been the best option, but the problem with people is that they expect constant price swings of 10-20% (preferably higher) several times a week in order to nurse their hunger for volatility. That's why they jump into altcoins, where some dumb sheeps even consider gambling to be a rewarding option, or HYIP's. If Bitcoin doesn't move for a few days, people get bored. It's a mentality problem.

For me no! it is always profitable but unlike the possible earning before, bitcoin now is very high value you can earn small amount and it is too slow to get that is why i recommend to used altcoin but you need to research on the altcoin that has potential to increase the value.
Note: you need to have more knowledge in trading method to make you successful.

Yes it is still worth to trade but for now since the bitcoin value is high its price you may earn a little profit. You may search for an altcoin which buy at lower price and sell it if earn profit already. So for me its still worth to trade as long you invest and be profitable.

Whenever trading is viable, trading has a great risk for loss if you are not careful, especially where relatively high bitcoin prices make altcoin quite risky

Profiting through trading is quite good and worth depending on the person who involve into it. Trading has got risks and with simple concept one cannot profit high through trading. One needs to be good in making the price predictions in a better way as well needs to spend time on price analysis over a period of time. This will help to fix the profit margin and make good earning even if there is not much fluctuations.

This is a good way of making money if you have the skills, in trading you can make as much as you want and that is true, in fact you can become a millionaire even in a short period of time. One must be willing to take the risk and properly evaluate his method in order to ensure profit, all of us are aiming for profit therefore we have to work for it, luck is not the factor here it is the skills that is necessary.

If you have the right amount of capital to be able to work with the smaller swings rather than the larger swings in which we used to see around last year then you should be fine in still day-trading in bitcoin. If you don't have the right type of capital, then I wouldn't get involved with Bitcoin and I'd rather do some sort of altcoin investing.

Well its very much still worth it to trade.

Yeah, as I said the other cryptos would give you a good chance of making profit at a good amount of chance for risk too. Just gotta do your research like anything else and hope you're not on the tail end of a dump.

We all know that in trading the risk is always present. Whether you just invest a little or big amount you can't be sure that you will profit. However, if the person wants to mitigate the risk, then one should start trading with amount that you can only afford to lose. And then gradually increase you investment as you become more experience in reading the market trends. So the more experience you become, the more chance of you profiting big amount making you a professional trader. Making trading worth of your time and money.

As a trader, when trade no more worth it, you will definitely know.
specifically now as a bit coin trader, thats where speculation is most needed. with critical observation to the scaling/ trending more in relation to economy, you easily detect when it no more worth it.
this can also be applicable to other trades out there.

Ofcourse. Today is different from yesterday. I guess that situation is very bad yet it is not happening again and it fix now. And we know that trading is one of the major source of income for those who want to earn bitocin. There are many people using trading in order to earn and of course in order to have income. Even if they didn't join in signature campaigns, they still have high incomes.

Trading is good in terms of earning hig amount of income. It can gives you such a acceptable earnings. The situation you are invloved is such have a big affect in your earninga but remember to move on and I think bitcoin has resolves that problem today. Many people are earning good today and many people had become rich because of trading.
