Title: Bitcoin friendly Liberty Reserve exchanger.
Post by: Anonymous on November 13, 2010, 02:22:39 PM
Either Mt Gox or someone in  the bitcoin community could apply to become an official liberty reserve exchanger and then offer special deals such as free transfers into mt gox for the purpose of bitcoin buying. Why support some third party exchanger who doesnt support bitcoins and charges outrageous fees in the process?. Then mt gox could remove the fees on trading bitcoins and instead move them to the process of buying liberty reserve.

Liberty Reserve uses ecardone - http://banking.ecardone.com/#
to manage this process .

I have even seen some liberty reserve exchangers offering visa debit cards you can fill up with your existing balance. So why not setup a system where you can charge a debit visa card with mt gox dollars?

Just one point, I think Mt Gox charges a trade fee to cut down on speculative trading, I don't think it's related to getting USD in/out.

He charges a fee to get money. He understands the benefits of speculation.

Its got nothing to do with speculating. It is to help cover the loss from paypal.

Putting my money where my mouth is I started offering bitcoin rebates if you visit certain exchangers through my site. 2% at Centregold and Aurum Exchange will cover most of the fees charged by mt gox.
