I sent a small amount of 0,27 BTC to my wallet. I have seen it nearly instantly in my client. Now after more than seven hours, I still have 0 confirmations. The transfer is correctly listed on Deepbit and still visible in the client, but seems to be not processed. Blockexplorer tells me there is "No such transaction" So what went wrong with this? I mean 0,27 coins is not that much, but what if this happens when sending a huge amount? Are there any chances, this transfer will eventually be confirmed? At the moment, transactions with 0 transaction fee (or sub 0.01) are taking a while to be verified (a few hours), because clients are taking a while to catch up with the new transaction fee minimums.

I must admit, there was no transaction fee added. I'm just astonished, because in the last days, transactions went much faster. I always had the first confirmations after minutes. So this can be closed. perhaps your client wasn't downloading the block chain. Always check that the number in the bottom right of your bitcoin client, matches the number here (http://blockexplorer.com/q/getblockcount). Will |
