What is the most Frustrating/Annoying thing that you come up against each time you use/but/sell bitcoins?

Do you think it will it ever be fixed?

While buying or selling , I hate the fact that I need to use exchanges that asks us for personal info and If I decide to trade with individuals the process is simply not fast enough , hopefully BitSquare.io will solve this issue in the future and when using bitcoin , I guess I'm like everybody else , the confirmation times are just annoying but that's something else that could be solved with Lightning network (http://lightning.community/).

I have never felt frustrated with bitcoin during the time of using it. I find bitcoin to be advantageous in all form compared to the bankers. At times frustration occurs while I experience big losses through the gambling. This too can be minimized by changing of mind which is full of greed.

I remember someone trusted explained something that made sense to me about why Lightning Network is something bad, so I would prefer that it is never implemented.

The transaction fees keep getting to me.
Yesterday I sent some bitcoin now when I try to send the exact same amount it says I can not send with the same transaction fee that I used yesterday.
It is asking me for double the amount now. What the heck is that?
Instead of twelve cents to send it is asking me for twenty two cents to send it.
I am using blockchain.info wallet so it is modifiable within the wallet what you want to use as the "minimum" amount of a transaction fee you would like to use and I use the absolute minimum all the time. And they have all completed successfully so I do not know what the heck is with the increase all the sudden of nearly double the amount.

Checking like paranoid is there any mistake in bitcoin address, no one wants to lose 10BTC.

I'm sure most users also find this one of the biggest problems. We could be in a worse situation if there was no solution, but in this case we have, as you said, an alternative to solve this problem.
I think if Bitcoin did not implement it this year, there's a good chance that Litecoin will get this feature. As far as I know, the only thing required is SegWit, and at the moment segwit sinalization is already working, now it all depends on the miners.

In general, there's nothing to bother me. But it could have been better if we never paid the transaction fee. But we still charge transaction fees that are very low compared to existing payment systems.

I also check the amount of money I send and the address information a few times. We know that payments made with bitcoin can not be returned.

Transactions not getting confirmed. I've faced this over 3-4 times when my transactions have not confirmed for over 12 hours and when I use other wallets like coinbase/xapo, they don't even appear on the blockchain network for 6-7 hours due to spam transactions on the network. Once my transaction was not confirmed for 2 days even though the fee was appropriate as per the size of the transaction.

The biggest problem that I had is time confirming, it was my fault because I didn't look witch were the recommended fees and used a lower fee than expected, and it took some hours to confirm. And about buying bitcoins, the time that some exchanges take to confirm your documents.

What frustrates me sometimes is soon after I sell bitcoin,price goes up and sometimes price fall down after I have bought it.Another think of course is high fee that some exchange charge for selling and buying.
Selling individual to individual is risky and finding a reliable escrow is not always easy.

Confirmation times when there are many unconfirmed transactions.
The fees that I am forced to use are sometimes higher than those of PayPal, depending on the amount of money.

Iam thought about this question a little bit,
but the only thing that i find negativ about bitcoin is the transfertime of bitcoins, it take too long.

Sometime i wait a few hours when i send bitcoin to some exchanges,
that is too long, the max. time imo should be 20 minutes.

Probably one of the most annoying things with using bitcoin is people requiring that one or two confirmations be made before accepting a transaction. I full understand the need for it but the network just takes an insane amount of time to go through one confirmation even when you set a high fee to be used.

This is the barrier which stops bitcoin from being massively adopted by people because of non-instant payments.

For me, the only issue I find myself frustrated with when using bitcoin is the transaction confirmation time. I understand that there needs to be some delay in order for the payments to be confirmed.

However, the time it takes to confirm the transactions are very inconsistent. This is what frustrates me sometimes. The transaction time can take anywhere between 5 minutes to 5 hours, and there is no telling how

long it will take. Can this be fixed, I do not know. But it would be nice if there was some way to estimate how long it will take for your transaction to be confirmed, that way you are not caught off guard and

frustrated when your payment takes hours instead of minutes. 

Confirmation time on some transactions..

The major issue right now is the transaction fees and the transaction delays.They have find a way to fix this up before it is too late.It is really frustrating to sit on your coins to get processed even to get alteast one confirmation while you are planning to purchase some alt coins and with the price blockchain is really slow and hope the core devs will come up with something for these issues.

Traders who want to devalue the worth of bitcoin thinking if the price declines, it'll immediately shoot back up again despite the loss of confidence in bitcoin's stability that comes with devaluation.

They make it hard to hold btc over the long term.

Blockchain/transaction delays. Don't know why, but everytime I send a transaction, it is the only time the blockchain speeds were slow and it takes hours to confirm even with the right fees. Apart from that the risk of double spending etc. which forces people transacting to wait for 2-3 confirmations also is a put off.

I agree with this, and it's why I can't see spending bitcoin for anything that can be bought with fiat.  But for me, my biggest pet peeve is the confirmation times.   Sometimes it's just really frigging annoying,  and that's another reason why bitcoin isn't destined to become a global currency.   A store of value, yes, but not something to buy stuff with.

for me, it is getting more expensive to do a transaction, the fee is getting higher.
Sometimes, takes more than 24 hours to confirm.

I think there is no frustration in bitcoin transaction, just disappointed when we transact the devices we use, infected with trojan virus from the actions of criminals hecker sometimes result in failure of the transaction we even suffer losses

I wouldn't call them frustrations but downsides.

1. Trading volatility (i.e price movements very often) which can make you lose a lot of money if you do trading
2. Transaction delays although this is solved from the most famous wallets like Electrum, Ledger etc where when you pay with high fees it confirms very soon in the majority of the cases.

Apart of such downsides , everything is perfect with bitcoin itself.

I know this feeling, one of the first transactions I made was for about $400 and I typed in the address by hand  :o

However, I feel relaxed using copy and pasted addresses and QR codes....   

I had issues like that too with a lot of personal information needed to be provided and lots of confirmations of a transaction and me doing it as well. But now I came to know a great website where they ask only your e-mail and then you have to send some amount of btc on some adress when you want to sell them. The fee they take is around 5% and you recieve the money on a credit card in local currency within half an hour. But I guess this site of only for people from Ukraine.

Is when I want to be a member to a specific site but cant use my bitcoin because they are not accepting it thats frustrates me somehow but it will come in the future and another thing will frustrate me again. I am aware of the fee but not minding about its price going higher as is it needed when you do transaction bitcoin is still better than paypal actually its just paypal is the most common way to transact.

The slow as fuck confirmation time and the high as fuck fee on microtransactions.

Undoubtedly, confirmation time. I use to exchange my bitcoins for PayPal or Neteller with my friends and I really hate when I quickly receive their money in a matter of minutes, but sometimes it takes several hours for them to receive their coins and this situation is very stressing for us.

Slow transaction is the most frustrated thing, I'm altcoin trader usually use Poloniex and Bittrex, but they require 2 confirmations, sometimes I have to wait at least 2 hours for credit, one day it cost me over 24 hours. Bitcoin slow transaction speed will impair more users to adopt.

Mostly people complaining about the very long confirmation whether having high or low fee still it takes hours. So obviously me too, because I experienced it and we can't do anything about that but to wait it confirms.

When I first learned about Bitcoin nothing really frustrated me. Nowadays it's mainly the long confirmation times that I think really are a pity. Bitcoin as a whole is really nice. I still believe in its future and hope for greater scaling capabilities.

Delay in confirmation time is the worst thing with bitcoins at a moment and its really frustrating to keep on waiting for a long time for a single transaction as it almost took me 8 to 9 hours for the transaction to get confirmed apart from that I don't there is anything to worry about bitcoins.

Spam transaction, at least if i was sending it from the exchange site with the fixed fee and i can change the fees like the priority fees.

But in this cases, i can't do something with it. every exchange are need to puts the manual fees for the convenience of their users.

using bitcoin atm are pretty expensive, though i like to keep and save my bitcoin, it is nice to buy something on stores but some  stores don't accept bitcoin and it is quite frustrating! but i can tolerate it especially when bitcoin price is high :)

I often regret is the speed of transactions. need a long time in any bitcoin delivery confirmation. today it is certainly very disturbing. I worry every time to send and receive bitcoin.

Bitcoin doesnt frustrate me infact its really a big help to me regarding on money transfers but one thing i would complain sometimes is the confirmation times specially when there is a spam transactions on the network which causes the delay.I dont know how to fasten up that thing but this is just a temporary problem only.

They ain't no place ta spend it!  That an' the damn wait times jist kill it fo me.  So naw I don't give none away less' n I'm sellin' it fo doge or summthin'.  Overall tho I'm pretty happy wit' bitcoin.  Ain't no huge gripes comin' from my big beautiful black lips.

Same here,slow transactions really frustrates me. After sending and upon checking on the blockchain there is no transaction appearing yet and your client/receiver bugging you for not seeing the transaction.I hope this issue will be fully addressed in the future.

Even worser than that, blockchain syncing. People who run a full node 24h usually do not recognizes, but in my case everytime I want to transfer coins it's usually a weekspan to cover up.
And at current blockchain size I doubt I would ever sync it again on a data loss accident.

What frustrates me currently with bitcoin is the fee and the unconfirmed transactions.
I experience 24 hrs or more recently, I understand it because of the massive transactions
that is going on but if I need the bitcoin to pay someone or receive one, I have to wait
which sometimes put a stress on my relationship on the one that I should be paying
because he thinks that I will not pay him.

If you find a regular trader or a few regular traders (whatever the case may be) then you shouldn't have a problem. Where are ypu usually trading at ? I can see why giving identity is a problem since bitcoin is about being anonymous but sellers and buyers need protections. I think escrow is the best option using the website you trade on as the escrow. They will male their money from fees.

24 hours for confirmation? What kind of wallet do you use? How much fees did you paid for the transaction?
I've never had this kind of problems using blockchain wallet, the fees is convenient and just a few cents.
However, my big problem right now is waiting for a withdraw from an exchange which takes hours, frustrating to wait.

The problem made me feel uncomfortable when using Bitcoin probably is transaction fees and transaction speed. I used Blockchain wallet and I had to take a huge fee to perform the transaction. I've switched to using Coinbase, it is better but the time confirm the transaction is not really good. Many my transactions have not confirmed for over 24 hours. Hope that in the future these problems will be improved better.

One of the most frustrating thing is not all are using Bitcoin, so every time I need to find who is using. Then finding a trusted person to transact with is always pain, then the huge amount of fees one needs to pay its just huge. Then when I need to urgently trade on a transaction the confirmation takes over 48 hours and sometimes more this really needs to be fixed but sadly it isnt as of now. Then at most times people offer a Bitcoin deal and don't do escrow which really is irritating as it most likely is a scam. Bitcoin is going global but needs more recognition. Once all this is fixed then Bitcoin will be just perfect.

Selling bitcoins is always fun because I never faced any issues while selling bitcoins so far but when it comes to buying bitcoins, I have to make struggle because localbitcoins didn't accept my identity card for account verification and usually lowest price sellers ask for verified accounts only so it's really frustrating to buy bitcoins at higher price even when the lower price is available.

The thing that frustrates me most before was the delay of my earnings from my investment sites because that is just one of the common signs that a site is a scam or might turn into scam but lately, it is still regarding on the delay but the reason now is i need the bitcoin immediately so that i can convert it into fiat. 

The thing that frustrate me the most when using bitcoin is the slow confirmation. I have an experience in which my transaction took to long to confirm, it was successfully confirmed after 24 hours of waiting. But that happened to me only twice since the time that I started to use bitcoin up to the present. Though its only twice but it still worries me. Some say that its the problem with the blocksize bu the community of miners and developers could just decide to use 8mb blocksize but bitcoin core disagrees to it and suggested to use LN and Segwit. The only way to solve the problem in slow confirmation is for the miner population to make a consensus that will make way for an increase in blocksize.

To solve your problem, you will need to revise more the websites before making an investment. Take care about sites that promise doubling your bitcoins, always are scams.

situation when I hold altcoin for 3 weeks and I need the money. I was forced to sell at cheap prices and after a few days the price of these coins increased 100% and it makes me frustrated. should I get the huge benefit. I have experienced this twice. hard to fix this because when I was in need of money should I do it

nothing really frustrates me when it comes to bitcoin, even the stupidest FUDs only make me laugh harder and sometimes be sad to see the idiots who fall for it.

but even i am frustrated these days to see the fees that keep going up because of the limitation of block size and also the spam attack with all the other transactions.

Nothing frustrates me more than when I needed to make some transfers to another bitcoin account and I have to handle the pressure of just keeping it together hoping that the other party will fufil his own part of the agreement because I know that the moment the coins leave my account, then its gone forever but if there is a way that I can reverse such transaction in case I am duped I am sure I will be less frustrated.

The uncertainty frustrates me when I exchange Bitcoins to cash. I use localbitcoins to exchange Bitcoins to PayPal balance. The thing with PayPal is I must exchange small money at a time because PayPal would freeze my account if a huge amount of money is transferred to my account. This is inconvenient because I have to send small money everyday until I fully cashed out my Bitcoins.

Until recently I was thinking that complaining about how long bitcoin transaction takes is nonsense since all my transactions received the first confirmation not later than after 15 minutes and most of them took not more than 5 minutes for that. But two days ago I had to wait 36 hours for the first confirmation although I added $0.15 transacion fee, and that was really annoying. I don't know how this can be fixed but it is really frustrating if something like this will be happening often.

The only thing that frustrates me the most when using bitcoin to pay for something is thinking that I'm throwing money out because I know the amount of BTC I'm using will worth a lot more a few days after...

Actually I didn't faced too many problems while using bitcoin rather I always got benefits from bitcoin.But some times unconfirmed transaction give me a lot of pain.I use bitcoin for recharge my mobile online.Sometimes I got my recharge after 2-3 days because of slow transactions.

i think i am not getting frustrates when i am using bitcoin especially in confirming of the transaction because when i see there is a transaction that not yet to get confirm, then i am not to thinking anything and i am sure that when the transaction is on the network, then no matter how slow the confirming, the amount is always completed even if the transaction needed a longer of time to gets completed.

Well if I want to sell bitcoin for specific value, I must compete with other one since it stack with other traders

If we are really into bitcoin, we must know how to deal with those problems or concerns we are encountering while using bitcoin whether for usage or trading. Yes no doubt that there are still holes when using bitcoin but don't wait for bitcoin to fixed it for us but rather we are the one who must step up to deal with that frustrating thing.

None whatsoever, you want fast confirms? use a high fee(note high fee in crypto doesn't mean really high but rather high comparing to average fees used). got scammed in scam services? deal with it like I did, only to blame my self.
Only stupid annoyance I've ever faced is not knowing who wants the success of bitcoin and who really is the enemy.

Bitcoin fee is not the one which is too much to be get frustrated of. Unconfirmed transcations is the one thing which i also get frustration as sometimes it takes larger than longer to be confirm.  A few times i have put money in sports betting and it takes more than longer time to confirm and i lose due to late confirmation.

Confirmation makes me angry. Because when i need to send bitcoin to buy something then i cant wait for the long hours of pending confirmation. If there was no system of confirmation then it would be better for me but i know that would not allow brain network to exist even for a single transaction also. Because it's anonymous and it's insecure and to make it secured we need confirmation.

One of the features of bitcoins is irreversible transactions which usually works against most bitcoin sellers as  simply trying to buy an item\service usually results in us getting to being easy targets with no trace of the scammer its so annoying.

I find this feature to be very good. The lack of reversibility means nobody can abuse it like they are doing with PayPal chargebacks. You have to be careful with your transactions, but nobody can interfere once you've made the payment.

What annoys me the most is the confirmation time. Some services require a full confirmation before you can use the money and it sometimes takes a couple hours.

Sometimes when my transaction is not confirmed for a long time that frustrates me a lot. Or when I'm not sure that I put the right address where I'm sending coins and I can't cancel the transaction. Also when I want to buy something with bitcoins and that shop doesn't accept it. But in general this are very small frustrations compared to all benefits.

Unconfirmed transaction which takes very long time disturbs me, initially I used to get frustrated but now its getting casual, but sometimes I get annoyed when it takes too much time, when I need it ASAP. Other than this till now nothing about Bitcoin really frustrated me.

Yes, it's a bit funny but many people are getting paranoid with this and check the address 4-5 before they hit the send button.

On topic, waiting for the payment confirmation could be annoying but not frustrating, I am only getting angry when I can't find shops which accept Bitcoin as a payment and I a have to use fiat or convert my coins to buy what I want.

It frustates me a bit, but I usually don't need to finish my transaction in a hurry, what most frustates me are the attempts that people do to steal money or to discover personal information of bitcoin users. Unfortunatelly the technology of blockchain doesn't protect us of this kind of issue and anyone can discover how much bitcoin you hold, how much you have and more...

Depositing usd to exchanges to buy coins is what frustrates me, it takes so many days lol. other than that nothing frustrates me.

ATMs are way faster than that, and you aren't going to lose your anonymity which makes it even better. You should have some ATMs near you, at least one, that sells Bitcoin.

When somebody sends BTC with not apropriate fee, especially when there is huge back-log and I have to wait more than a day till the transaction is confirmed

There are lot of things I hate like unconfirmed transactions and it can take hours before it will be. I have to cash it out through a remittance services in our country because none of the merchants in our country accepts bitcoin still. Its funny because despite all these hassles, I still like bitcoin. And its all because I get to earn using bitcoin too.


After I got scammed from someone who lets me do some simple job that I though was a passive income, BTC being irreversible is the best feature.

well that's what it takes because miners fee really affect the process, but all in all bitcoin still the easiest and lowest transaction fee

I hate it when I need to buy goods but no shop that sells goods I want accepts bitcoin, so I need to convert my bitcoin. even there is a good I'd like to buy here in forum, the shipping cost is too high. so I cancel my wish to buy the thing.

There's nothing to be annoyed upon using bitcoin. But maybe there's a way that miners can avoid the thousands of transactions that are unconfirmed or probably improve it, nevertheless this is not an issue for me. And with the adoption I'm waiting that local stores here will accept btc.

I must say that this one is probably my greatest fear about using bitcoin. Copy/paste a few times just in case and then checking it once again just in case. But other than that, variability in confirmation time could be the one, besides those two things, nothing specially.

I must said this is one of of my greatest fear which is sending my money to a wrong address because missed one letter then it will be disaster and it is not reversible and also the confirmation time sometimes took so long, until i wonder will my coin arrived safely , because once it was sent i can't cancel it, and if something is wrong then the coin will be gone

For me, at the moment it's the uncertainty that my fee was high enough. Well there is bitcoinfees.21.co, but it's not very user friendly having to check it every time I make a transaction.


Me too, I'm also paranoid with that  :-[. There should be a browser extension or a similar easy tool that did this.

Hope you have heard about pay pal .If you are planning to sell items to unknown people use a payment system that will allow people to be more transparent rather than dealing with bitcoin.The salient feature about bitcoin is that it is not irreversible and it will never be.What frustrates me is the transaction delays we are having at the moment.

Today's keyword is "frustration" greatest fear my a*s :D there is no need to copy paste or check addresses few times only check 2 first and 2 last digits to make sure. what truly makes me mad or frustrated? when I send bitcoin to buy online and they refund me saying you didn't send in time and because of the price fluctuations the amount received was less than what we are selling our product.

I've never used a Bitcoin ATM because I don't have any where I live, but what I heard is that they charge a lot, from 6% to 8% and sometimes even more than that, so that's why people prefer to use exchanges, where fees range from 0.2% to 3% max.

Well, I'm very frustrated with btc last days, I'm paying 0.0005 fee (around 0,5usd) for a 24usd transaction and still need to wait around 6~8hours everyday...

That's a lot. My transactions confirm in an hour, sometimes it takes a bit longer, but with a large fee like yours it should be a lot faster than 6 hours.
I agree with you that the fees are getting too high, but the confirmation times haven't changed, at least for me.

It's very unstable, sometimes it confirm in 2 minutes, sometimes in 8 hours, im not sure what's going on, maybe the time of the day, dont know... I'm about to start paying 1~2usd fee, because i really need the transaction to finish fast...

Yes like many people here I am also getting frustration with the time taken for getting confirmations for my transactions. Today I transfer some bitcoins from my wallet but it got stuck without confirmations for more than five hours still now. I just worry about when will the block size problem will get over and we will be having hassle free experience with bitcoin payment system.

The transaction is relaying in the transaction size and if you have transaction above 1kb you should paying the fee with good amount so that the transaction speed wont be too long to sent...
The problem right now i hope that they can added a feature like they can know first the transaction size before they can set the transaction fee and send.. so that no one can experience of delay unless if they do it manually..

Confirmation time, and fees are approaching to high values in the near future

The transaction fee is going on the high side and that's a bit of concern and the frustrating thing about that is there is nothing we can do about it. Another thing again is amount of time transactions take to confirm this has been an issue as an amount will appear in your wallet without necessarily belongs to you which will take several hours which could be a luxury in the of emergency.

What frustrates me the most when I"m paying with bitcoin is myself and the fact that I didnt keep thoose btc cause value will only rise in the near and the far future so basically I just gave away free money to someone. 1 btc today equals 1000 usd and that same 1 btc "tomorow" 1500+usd  ::)

When the blockchain gets spammed and there are 75k unconfirmed transactions like last weekend and it takes forever to get a payment done or use a ridiculously high fee. Also I'm not a fan of POW it is a useless use of hardware and energy and only people with money for expensive mining rigs are profiting from the POW system.

First time I was deal with bitcoin I was very excited and I was thinking that all things as far as it concerns the monetary system were solved; the only difficulty would be the adoption of many people so as to be an everyday payment system. After a while, I realized the process of bitcoin transactions which depends from network confirmation. So, I understood that debate in scaling and the increased fees will be the everyday reality where I have to face it until a solution. All of these are so different from anything I had lived so as many times I feel that anyone join in bitcoin ecosystem lives in a parallel world compared with fiat money.

As of now we cant do anything about those unconfirmed spam transactions on the network and the best thing for now is just wait until miners do their jobs.I dont know whats the reason on those spam tx but same as your and other people here this is the one sometimes that really pisses me off.

so far nothing makes me feel frustrated or annoyed while buying or either selling bitcoin but what makes me feel annoyed is that when I am sending or transferring bitcoin to my other wallet especially when I really need to have money as soon as possible, I am sometimes annoyed because of waiting and sometime it makes me worried about the bitcoin wallet that I have inputted .

I guess current confirmation times piss me off, well until I realised that you have to send a higher than average fee unless you want to wait hours.

The block size debate annoys me too, the price could be so much higher now if people would just sit down & agree.

Like You, I don't enjoy waiting for hours for Transactions confirmation. These days , getting the required three confirmations are a pain in the ass. Currently, If I intend to Send bitcoin urgently to my other account/wallet elsewhere, I make the transactions hours before the set time to overcome confirmation issue as I don't like "bribing" Miners.

One thing that frustrates me the most is that online sites do not
Accept bitcoin.
I first have to download different apps then buy vouchers of that online shopping site.
Then I can buy something with bitcoin.
Also that voucher should be in stock.
That is a different problem.

That is same with me and right now the fees transaction is increasing,
actually i don't have problem with fees if the profit is high from trading.
But it is problem if the profit is just small because not every trading getting high profit. :D

Really if you are in hurry to complete any deal and waiting time for transaction is really make one  pissed off. There is should be a timer so as people know how much more time left in confirmations. Waiting for confirmation and not knowing how long will it take makes its more frustration and unbearable sometimes.

Its irritating to wait for a day for confirmation to take place. its going to become almost 24 hours since my last payment and its still under confrimation . I hope that this type of frustrating error and problems would be resolved very soon and in future we will be out of these sorts of problems. may be more miner could do the task. and its is only possible only when miner get more award per block minner to upgrade their system for faster working.

   Nothing is frustrating about bitcoin, everything is working fine, we are making some little profit on a side. Some of us saving for huge price one day, and members here complain just on confirmation time. I do not have such problems and for me everything is working fine.

   I feel the same way when I lose money on sports betting, but that doesnt have nothing with bitcoins.

The time take to confirm a transaction which has been initiated has increased drastically compared to past years and this is what that frustrates me the most. Now we will have to pay higher fees to get a transaction confirmed and it has become very expensive. I usually use ethereum to do most of the transaction as it is quick and cheap for the time being.

Yes feeling the same nowadays and actually shifting to ETH for small payments as it is fast enough yet and cheap too. Paying an extra transaction fee to the miner is like giving bounty and also a very short term solution for the frustration. Need a solution for the faster confirmations problem, may be segwit. ::)

I personally think, the most disturbing thing of bitcoin is when you get the confirmation process transactions with a long time. I made several transactions with confirmation that a long time, but it only happens some time. And I think this will not be fixed, because bitcoin always takes confirmation in every transaction by miners. Thank you

I don't think fees will be that high in the future that we should worry about it. But the confirmation time is something that frustrates me too sometimes, especially if you have to wait hours for the first confirmation.

Thankfully this has not happened to our local exchange. Things can get confusing sometimes when looking for a way to grow bitcoins that it's hard to tell which is legit or not. Recently my cousin started convincing me to invest some bits into btcriver.com. I just deposited a tiny amount since I've always been skeptical of such claims of large interests (mainly just to stop him trying to convince me). Sure enough, it stopped working for him... he can no longer withdraw his earnings. I just left mine there, redepositing the earnings. From what I heard other users were able to withdraw at least once. I don't know what criteria their system is using to determine who stops getting money but if it's the withdrawal then I might still have a chance to get some bits back.

No seriously no i have no frustration with bitcoin. Even whenever i start my work with bitcoin, i really enjoy it because bitcoin is my part time job, and if i have frustrates so only my day job, and when i feel boring, than i start bitcoin and my first step always to see the bitcoin price. 

Transaction fee is sure one of the problem of bitcoin. But for me the answer for your problem is for you to find a better wallet. Because there are some wallet that has a convertion where you can convert bitcoin and send them to others with no fees. You may also do paying bills and buying loads. Blockchain for me is just a secondary wallet usually used for gambling. I suggest you not to consider gambling anymore.

It's annoying that i have to validate my account at exchange with photo of idcard  and other personal info. The other thing is the transaction time and fee. Even if i increase the fee, sometimes it still take a long time for confirmation. The confirmation time is not fixed, sometimes fast and the other time it took a long time  :'(

There are some countries that use verification id for bitcoin exchange market in that country, it's a requirement that must be done to keep company become legal. Government requires valid user data for transparency, and prevent possible problems that arise, including crime. It's good for you, if things happen that are not desirable, you can sue exchange market to court. About unconfirmed transactions is a problem that's still looking for solutions and development. Blockchain still continue to do maintenance to resolve this issue.

Nothing disappoints me more when I need to transfer some other bitcoin accounts and I'm under the pressure of just keeping it together in the hope that the other party will agree on their own because I know the time to leave the dong. My account, then it goes forever but if there is a way that I can reverse the transaction so in case I get cheated I am sure I will be less disappointed.

Maybe the fact, that it is still quite expensive to buy Bitcoin. And not because it is more the 6000$, the fee is the problem. Even the cheapest options are more than 2-3%. If it was not that volatile, would not work for sure.

As of now the thing that frustrates me when I need or want to use my bitcoin for a certain transaction is that there are only very few merchants and stores that accepts bitcoin as a payment. And most of these firms are not within my country. This is also the reason why I am very happy with those news when a company open up there firm and accepts bitcoin and crypto currency as a payment. Bitcoin is one of my favorites as it has got almost all the good packages a cryptocurrency needs to serve its users yet Bitcoin seems to have a glitch in its transaction speed because of the huge number of transactions made within a second, several Blocks are created and transactions needs to be queued.

Waiting is an activity that is very boring and sometimes irritates me, that's what happens when doing bitcoin transactions. My hope someday bitcoin can improve its service for better, especially in the process of bitcoin transactions, so not too long someone waiting for confirmation when doing bitcoin transactions, both when selling and buying and also shopping using bitcoin.

Sometimes it takes me a longer time before by Bitcoins are received or sent. But this is just a minor problem I can easily dismiss. My transactions are not that urgent. I got frustrated mostly when using bitcoin at point of reaching a price agreement between me and an agent after conclusion in the agreed price   whenever I wanted to exchange some btc to fiat by the time the transaction is completed the sudden drop in the price in btc means I will earn a fewer amount of fiat compared to the agreed price with the buyer thus disrupting my budget its very annoying a times I had to accept it.

I've confronted this more than 3-4 times when my exchanges have not affirmed for more than 12 hours and when I utilize different wallets like coinbase/xapo, they don't show up on the blockchain arrange for 6-7 hours because of spam exchanges on the system. Once my exchange was not affirmed for 2 days despite the fact that the expense was proper according to the extent of the exchange.

Some token are so late to come. Also when you need to buy or sell, private information are needed. So i am a little bit frustrated. Also when the value of token did not pump...

The confirmation time taken, transaction fees doesn't matter but then also sometimes you have to give more..and if you dont have traders in your hands then it will frustate the most while searching for traders and burgening for the rate.

Well i don't know if this will be fixed. Most frustrating was when i was in a place where nets are not available and i need to settle things on that day using Bitcoin, but i cannot access it without internet connection. I wonder if Bitcoin in the future will be operated offline.

Well personally,  I do not yet experienced any frustration of using bitcoin in any activity that I have been doing here. I have found bitcoin very helpful and very accessible to use compare to other coins. What Frustrates me is all the news that spreads when sudden improvement and drop on prices. I am not judging anyone or saying that every single one sharing news is wrong but it triggers the market especially the investors more to panic or jump in without proper knowledge. I do not really have any problem when handling my coins but yet it is a bit frustrating. I seldom check the market and sometimes I get disappointed. That is all.

I have some experiences that sometimes makes me frustrated is when I selling my bitcoin at $6300 but in the next few hours, the price increase until $6500. I often got this experience but I think I am fine and I can manage my frustration to not so long because I know that this is what happens in the cryptocurrency market. I am sure that at the other time, I can take a bigger profit than before so I keep trying to search for another profit and I can wait for the price increase higher.

Probably one of the most annoying things with using bitcoin is people requiring that one or two confirmations be made before accepting a transaction. I full understand the need for it but the network just takes an insane amount of time to go through one confirmation even when you set a high fee to be used.

Internet connection is one of the pillars of Bitcoin and without this, you cannot make any transactions and it will be useless. In the future, I don't think that Bitcoin or other forms of crypto currencies can be operated offline because the blockchain technology needs internet to fully operate and it looks impossible to happen.  8)

For me, sometimes it take sometimes of waiting/ delays due to heavy traffic in transaction but somehow it will overcome my frustration when it pump successdully traded. Well, I get frustrated or annoyed when the bitcoin price is suddenly goes down and I really need a money, and I have no choice but to convert it. Hello everybody. I do not like commissions on transactions and sometimes the speed of moving a deposit. I always just buy LTC, - solving the problem of the commission. I do not know if this problem will be solved with time, but I think almost everyone here faced problems with BTC, but still Bitcoin remains at the main place of the crypto-currency market.

I'm having a trouble transferring my money into cash because I have seen one number on the screen and eventually when I rub money into my hand it turned out to be quite less because of the transaction fees the commissions and all that crazy stuff that is mandatory however.

In my opinion,many people pay little attention to transaction costs,they only care about the quality and speed of the transaction because if you are an investor or trader,you will definitely receive high fees during your transaction process quickly and conveniently,delaying a few minutes to an hour is enough for you to lose a lot of things.

I have never been frustrated with bitcoin during my time using it. I find bitcoin to be profitable in all forms compared to bankers. Sometimes frustration happens when I experience huge losses through gambling.

What frustrate me a lot is when I am asked to submit documents on some exchanges or point of withdrawal before I am allowed to withdraw my coins in fiat. Crypto/bitcoin is anonymous so there shouldn't be all these things.

The lack of opportunities to exchange bitcoins for goods and services is the most frustrating thing for me! Still the businesses are not that aware of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies and not really adopting them as a currency per se. I do not want to just convert my bitcoins to fiat but rather waiting till there is mainstream adoption where we can use it frequently on a daily basis. Many are into bitcoin as a get rich quickly method where they try to flip them for fiat. But I want accumulate bitcoins and use them as a  currency to purchase goods and services.

When we have investment we must be carefull of all ways so that we cannot encountered scammed because if we can experience this kind of situation that's the time we can fell frustrated. So it's better we double check all the time because it is not easy to us to recover  when we will get into scammed because scammers are anywhere in this world.

I only have one problem with Bitcoin, which is so slow in completing transactions. It is something that they need to solve right now. I know that implementing lightning network is on its way, but we will see how it goes if it is going to solve the one problem that I am preferring right now.

In my experience withdrawing my bitcoin in exchanges, it sometimes got delay for long hours plus the transaction fees. Another problem for me is when the price suddenly falls while your transaction is not yet confirmed

The only thing that annoyed me is way back December last year.

When I sent about $20 and paid the fee respectively and you know what happens? it was pending for 3 days and the person I sent the money was so pissed of too me and blamed me about the delay.

The biggest problem I have is the time to confirm, it is my mistake because I do not see witch is the recommended cost and use lower cost than expected, and it takes several hours to confirm. I altcoin traders usually use Poloniex and Bittrex, but they require 2 confirmations, sometimes I have to wait at least 2 hours to get credit, one day it will cost more than 24 hours. Bitcoin's slow transaction speed will disrupt more users to adopt.

The most frustrating and annoying time of using Bitcoin was when I bought Bitcoin from someone with a very urgent need and the transaction took 2days to confirm because of the low transaction fee which was used then and other wallet was charging high but blockchain charged low and takes time to confirm and also when I wanted to send some bitcoin to some of my friends with hope of sharing it equally but realized that my first transaction fee charged was over $100 for just $450 in December 2017 period, I had to sent all with the high fee cause I have no choice.

Bitcoin usage has never been frustrating to me ever since i got to know about Bitcoin. With the Bitcoin transaction speed, i understand with the numerous Blocks created within every second, it takes quite some time to mine and move across each Block. The confirmation time is the only thing that frustrates me when i am using bitcoin because bitcoin is such a great currency but the confirmation time is not that instant or short enough for me to wait. Some of the transaction that i experience with bitcoin takes at least 1 hour before it gets confirmation which is not a good time frame for me to wait.

What frustrates me would be its volatility, but I know it has been its nature and acceptance is the only way to solve it. In addition, scalability is what I considered as the other worrying and frustrating factor. The way it is designed, there is a limit to the speed and number of transactions it can process at a time which has hindered the widespread adoption of digital currencies.

As of now,  i am more fine with btc but i wanted to see a higher price once again just like when the price was at $20,000. I wanted to see it this year,  if it is possible.

I think that the lightning network is already implemented with bitcoin and because of the crowded blockchain of bitcoin and since it has a lot of people in its growth then it is still making the waiting of confirmation longer compare to the other cryptocurrency that it just takes at least 2 minutes before it gets a confirmation.

I think right now, we don't have to wait for a long time to see the transaction is complete or get confirmations because as far as I see, it only needs the short time to complete the transaction. I don't have any problem with the transaction and so far, my transaction was going smoothly and it's no need a long time to complete. maybe when you make the transaction, the network is overload and I think this is normal because I am sure that in the next minutes, everything will be normal again.

The same for me I hate to give my personal information to the exchanges, and on the same level I don't like that there are so many exchanges that are trading different tokens that I want to sell in exchange to Bitcoin.

Security. This is really a giant threat against the blockchain economy. Yeah, we, users have the responsibility to take and make sure we impose reasonable security measures over our assets, but look at how exchanges are being hacked. If that can happen to 'huge' entities, what about us individuals? Right? Risk averse people are thinking about it and keep away themselves from bitcoin because of these risks.

In my opinion i frustrates most when using bitcoin is so many hacker in bitcoin that is very make me angry and I hate to give my personal information to the exchanges, and on the same level when i sell or buy i don't like that

What frustrates me most when using bitcoin is the transaction fee because the fee is so high even if only transferring small amount of bitcoin. But so far so good.

it seems the existence of delay yes when the transaction this will also happen if there is a pump quickly, there is a delay time for us to get the right price to buy or sell, and also transaction fee for each exchanger varies.

I think the sudden decline in price within the start of the year is what's frustrating the most. But we cannot change that since it's the nature of bitcoin.

None whatsoever, you want fast confirms? use a high fee(note high fee in crypto doesn't mean really high but rather high comparing to average fees used). got scammed in scam services? deal with it like I did, only to blame my self.

For me, this is a price in the market. I understand what it is, but still I want it to be bigger, because we all really want to earn and believe in it. Also, regarding the possibilities of using in real life, but this is more of a question for our governments.

The most I get frustrated about the fees (not tx fees; the fees various businesses add for their service)

Exchanges get at least 4-5$ when you withdraw Bitcoin. This is a lot for somebody that may want to get 10-20$ worth of Bitcoin and get normally advised to not keep their funds at exchange.
The only payment provider I know in my country which facilitates Bitcoin payments adds some 8+% to the price.
If I want to use "Bitcoin card" the exchange to Euro makes me lose some 2-3% (I don't know exactly, I didn't check lately) and then I may lose some more exchanging from Euro to local currency. The most reputed local exchange still gets some 2+%.

If I want to change between local currency and other country's fiat, the exchanger nearby gets less than 1% fee.
I hope to see one day for Bitcoin too more exchangers (not only in US) and much lower fees. In time it'll happen...

The slow like- pace confirmation speed can be so frustrating. I could remember sometime ago, my plan was to sell part of my bitcoin for fiat  so as to solve some pressing financial needs.
I found a buyer, transfered the btc hoping to receive the fiat immediately.
My hope was dashed as i was made to wait for 12 days for the confirmation of the transaction to be completed before buyer can send funds.
Nothing frustrates like this.

The thing that will frustrate me the most is the time needed and the cost needed for the transaction to go through especially when you transfer to place that require many block confirmation. I am not very opmistic on bitcoin having the problems to be solve but maybe other coins will be able to tackle the problems.

First reason is transaction fees of course. I still find it high even bitcoin price is down to 6-7k from 19k. Other is keeping it safe. If you hodl you must keep your private key, if you lose you lose everything. If you're a trader you have to keep it in exchange. And as we see on Mt. Gox, no exchange provides hundred percent security. We commend all our money people who we never met :)

When I sell bitcoins, I understand that in a few years they will cost several times more. But this is not a problem, because we live now, so we must now use our assets.

One of the things that frustrates me with Bitcoin is how the price can rise after selling your coins at a certain lower price. It appears that the market was waiting for you to sell at that price.
However, all transactions i've made with Bitcoins were smooth and successful without encountering any difficulties.

I guess its the wait time however that seems to have gone away.  The transaction fees are also much cheaper now than they were last year so all in all I love Bitcoin.  I just would like to see more merchants accepting it. 

There's really one thing that frustrates me the most here in bitcoin and that is when the price is under value. I think most of us really hate that to happen and we don't wish to experience that event. The moment that the price is so low it really makes me frustrated because I know that all of us will be affected in a bad way.

I think everyone would agree that among the frustrations encountered by bitcoin users is the amount of time for transactions to be confirmed.

On an average, it takes around 10 minutes to confirm a block. And as researchers found it, a small transaction will need atleast 1 confirmation to push through and larger transactions might need atleast 6. And with the average 10 minutes to confirm a block, a 6 block confirmation will take about an hour.

And there are times when that one hour takes up to 2 hours when transactions peak the network. The waiting time is absolutely frustrating specially on something digital in nature since we all have this concept of anything digital is relatively quick, fast and instant.

My experience has been great. Well, except for those two things below:


2 Things.

1. Confirmation anxiety. Will it confirm in the next block. Why has it taken 30 minutes and there is no block yet! ( I understand that difficulty can only make blocks appear on average every ten minutes and not make miners find the next block in exactly 600 seconds)

2. The user interface could be a lot better. I think it has actually improved. But I want to be able to have some help in calculating the fee. Since bitcoin core already does this to an extent I'll put this at number 2

It's always the transaction time for me. I would be glad if people decided to shift to another altcoin that can handle this problem well. I really don't think it will be fixed and it is going to be a huge hindrance to achieve adoption because everyone's time is precious and they cannot afford to waste just to wait for hours for the transaction to be completed.

The only thing that frustrate me most is the amount of fee I have to pay for a transaction. Like for example. Large exchanges charge so much fee that we can't withdraw a small amount. Next is when I am buying things online. Fee eats most of my money for buying things which is frustrating.

Right now, I am frustating on confirmation transaction. Not like several months ago, bitcoin transaction right now need more time than before. I am transfering my bitcoin to exchanger wallet need more 8 hours. Hopely this problem can be fixed

bitcoin is digital money. how can we master it well or in a good way we will benefit that is undoubtedly we will get rich suddenly. bitcoin also helps my life. I hope bitcoin will always be there.

sometimes it take sometimes of waiting due to heavy traffic in transaction but somehow it will overcome my frustration when it pump successdully traded. But hoping sooner or later that the developher blockchain technology will discover the easiest way to fastened the quick confirmation by means of adding manpower to their technology.

May be the turmoil of the Bitcoin market. There are many terms about Blockchain technology, which makes it difficult for me.

The thing that surprised me the most when bitcoin prices soared. At that time I did not have a bitcoin a dime, there I felt annoyed that it had seen it last time when the price was still low. But there I think that the price of bitcoin nobody knows and I'm sure many people's out there experience the same thing.

There is nothing to cause frustration. In bitcoin investments, I always felt satisfied, even while investing a very large amount because the purchases and sales are secured and we need nothing better than this. Loses are the important aspect of every investment but in bitcoin case, some people are less strategic but they have the greed to get more profit and hence their investments are no longer survived. These losses can be minimized by doing a bit research on bitcoin's history.

Based on my trip and I am sure most of the human beings right here would agree with me, the things that annoys me and most of us in Bitcoin mainly would be its very lengthy transaction turn around time plus the excessive transaction fees.This is why one should not made a careless decision on bitcoin trading and one must fix his/her mind on the possible transaction for it will not create a great loss in the near future due to poor decision making on trading bitcoin. ANd it is more better to hold crypto than trading it.

I am very disturbed by the market asking for my identity to be able to trade in the market.

I will mention one thing I don't like when using BTC, when I trade I have to pay a large fee. and in my country I have not legalized BTC meaning I can't use my BTC to buy necessities without exchanging it first.

According to me the most frustrating things I have faced by using bitcoin is its high volatility and also the high transaction fee, except this everything is perfect.

I get nervous every time I send Bitcoin.  I'm afraid I'm going to put in a wrong number or make some sort of error.  Never happened yet but I always have a nervous feeling after I send a transaction.  Hopefully I can fix myself.  Bitcoin is fine. 

the most tiring moment was when I sold my coin and 1 hour later or one day later the price of the coin rose sharply.

I guess the most annoying part was the fees and confirmation details..and also ofcourse the unstable bitcoin price.

I don't think there is much to complain about using BTC, probably there are flaws that may frustrate or annoy us, first of all, Transaction time, we all know how long it takes for a single transaction to be fully progressed right? It usually takes from 15-30minutes, otherwise it also takes upto an hour for a transaction to be done, however in my opinion this problem is very minimal, and if they can fix it, then I'd be happy if it gets faster.

One thing makes me frustrate while I trade Bitcoin is wasting time by confirmation personal informations. However,  the procedure of Bitcoin is quite smooth and I am satisfied for it.

I really feel uncomfortable waiting for all my transactions. It's pretty slow. And I want it to be better and faster.

What puts me off when using bitcoin is the delay in transaction confirmation.
You know,  having to wait for days most at times for my transaction to be confirmed.

For me, it is the up and down price of bitcoin. When we or after we buy bitcoin then it will go down then we cant sell it because the price is too low. That is what frustrates me the most. Because we will just hold it.

sometimes I get frustrated about waiting for the transaction completed, I see the transaction can complete in just less than 30 minutes but in the other time, the transaction needs more than 30 minutes which in that time, I really need the bitcoin to withdraw to the fiat. but I am trying to calm down myself to still waiting for the transaction because I cannot do anything except waiting. I know maybe I can accelerate the transaction but I still patient to waiting for the completing of the transaction.

I think the confirmation will not be that long at this time, unless you insist on using a very cheap fee under the standard fee, of course you will receive your transaction within a few days, if you want to get a quick confirmation then use a default fee or more, then you will get fast transaction

For me, whenever I am seeing people screaming when the market gets complicated too, whenever the market becomes down due to somethings, and they can't even control it, that is why for me it really frustrates me because they used to be like that without realizing and searching for a possible reason.

I think the most problem when you using bitcoin is not when you buy or sell it.
It is when you use it to send your btc to other wallet address. The transaction can take your time.
This is because the blocktime of bitcoin is slow.

What frustrates me when using Bitcoin is while buying and selling, it can happen when I selling price goes up and sometimes price fall down after I have bought it. Moreover the transaction confirmation time is make me frustrates too when using Bitcoin, because it needs to be some delay in order for the payments to be confirmed and i know that, but the time it takes to confirm the transactions are very inconsistent. I'm a bit dissatisfied that BTC does not become a currency but a holding asset. I used to be that guy who would debate BTC/Crypto whenever someone said it was a fad or bubble. It wasnt at that time (or so I felt).

BTC was supposed to be a currency and that was it's value. Most people I see today are using it as an investment vehicle, which is not what it is. Hence, when people realize this sooner or later, the market might crash because it is not what they think it is.

Not all countries accept it. And I lost a lot. It is frustrating to wait to be processed even to get a confirmation at least when I plan to buy some altcoins and blockchain really slowly.

actually it doesn't matter if you are a long-term investor because a long period of time usually has a small risk of loss, therefore the point above you mentioned will be slightly reduced, different for those of you who are short-term investors maybe this will be a big problem . Yes, the amount you spent on the gas will give varying results. Filling the transaction with less would mean a slow travel. A standard gas fill gets your transaction travel time on the norms. And giving it more than the standard will get your transaction to reach its destination much faster, sort of a special 1st class travel with traffic lights all green.

indeed from a storage point of view, there is no problem. the problem is when the price has decreased and has put capital into automatic bitcoin the value of bitcoin savings is reduced. the market goes up and down the strategy that is used is trading to get money.

i do transfer sometimes some bitcoins to other people or exchange.
BTC fee of transfer is really a low amount if you are sending big value.
but it is expensive for small amounts.
