Diversification will always be a good idea when we are tending to make an investment so that if one fails then we do have still the chance to get up and recover going also into top coins in the marketcap is a good choice but still there are coins who are still undervalued as of these days which is worth to invest on too but finding them would be the challenge on here.

I'm not sure for this, because for me bitcoin is good for long term investment and short term investment. For long term investment, let's say bitcoin will reach $100000 and you buy when price $6000, it's very profit right? But I will ask, will you stay and you just calm down if bitcoin price continue to decline like this time, from $20.000 to $6000? will you worried for that? If no, I fascinated to you.

But if you choose for short term, and sometime you change a startegy investment like trading for me it would be good compared for long term investment.
