Would be cool to know why each coin is considered as "undervalued"

I'm into ZEC and ZCL all the way...

This is data collected by ASKING people what they think which altcoins are undervalued? I might be new but that seems really sketchy.
Was crowd opinion ever shown to have any merit in investing?

I have always maintained and will continue to support NEM. The market cap has doubled from 30millipn last year to about 60 million as of right now. Essentially, I've doubled my money, and the currency actually HAS unique features, unlike the pascal/nav/trump bs we see.

Bay for me ..... go use their market place. Dev is awesome. Anyone asks him a question he replies quickly and politely.
I said at 60 sats it was cheap. In my opinion is still crazy cheap. Do your own research before taking any action of course. This should be top 25 already and when completed.....

there are others for sure... but this seems way below value compared to other projects

I regularly use alt-coin faucets commonly and see some of them listed there. I knowingly collect them based on futuristic data and have seen increases already.

No matter which one you get into, peak at its economy so every aspect and variable can be looked into for desirable gains.

MaidSafe is the most undervalues coin in my opinion. They are working on testing the platform while accepting different opinions from the community.

Other than MAID, I am not interested in the other coins.

And no, I do not have any MaidSafe coins.

I personally think that NXT is the most undervalued one. Is the first one with features like assets, data storage and voting system. It's like an (financial) ecosystem in one app.

NXT would have been fall into the category at the present price, the tokens has been dillute with Ardor tokens and also some other tokens distribution coming later in the year

ripple is not a cryptocurrency it's a centralized scam, the other you mentioned are pump and dump with the onyl expection of monero which has actual usage in the deepmarket, monero i think is still undervalued despite the nice pump, it should be at 0.1 by now, about steem i think it was a nice addition to bad it was hacked too early and destroyed its hype

While BTC will remain the standard coin for a long time, I believe that altcoins that bring a big plus in terms of features will survive.
To me the big concerns of the BTC are:
- block size and speed
- No anonymity features

So any altcoin bringing a solution on these 2 aspects will have a chance to differentiate itself from the rest.

Ethereum got popular for many reasons, but block size and speed is among the main ones

Monero covers the 2 aspects. I like it a lot but anonymity is set by default. Sooner or later this will bring scrunity on it. (check the concerns of the FBI on Monero and dark pools last week). Also Monero won't benefit much from the BTC network development effect, as it's too different from it.

ZEC/ZCL both offer great block speed and size, and the possibility to conduct anonymous or transparent transactions.
Also, it is very similar to BTC in terms of design, including monetary base.
ZEC has a strong support from the initial investors, it will do well. The only problem being that the investor imposed a 20% tax on every block mined. I don't like their mindset.

ZCL is a fork of ZEC. without the tax component. It's a tinymarketcap as few people know about it. To me ZCL is what ZEC should have been.

Among these cryptocurrencies, I would probably only consider investing in Litecoin. I'm not sure about Stratis, the project has an interesting proposal, but the fact that they're using proof-of-stake makes me have some questions about it. I'm preferring to invest in cryptos that are trying to use something new, with potential and that has been little explored before, like cryptocurrencies using DAG algorithm.

I agree Zclassic is the most interesting profile. Mainly because the coin is not available on Polo yet, it's still very cheap. Compare to Zcash. x5 or x10 is very possible on a coin like that even before polo listing.

I will mainly buy Zclassic from now.

Litecoin
Monero
Dash
Iconomi
Steem
Doge
Game
Bitshares
Sia Coin
Stratis
NXT
I/O Coin
Nexus
Bitbay
Expanse
Burst
OKCash
Crown
Trollcoin

Nice list totally missing out on Komodo and ByteBalls, even Ardor. You know what? Delete your list, start writing a new one.

instead of adding a link with no context, try explaining a little to your topic unless you are just trying to generate traffic for your site.

Ripple
Litecoin
Monero
Dash
Iconomi
Steem
Doge
Game
Bitshares
Sia Coin
Stratis
NXT
I/O Coin
Nexus
Bitbay
Expanse
Burst
OKCash
Crown
Trollcoin

in this list I see coins that shouldn't even be there. for example Doge coin is one of the over valued coins that should be worth a lot less than this based on the multi billion number of coins available as its supply!
and also there are a couple of them that I have not even heard of! I will check them out though, but in my experience when the coin is not so famous, it is not good either. and exceptions are rare.

the only coin that I can agree on is litecoin.
also a couple of them like monero and dash I believe have their value and will rise but you can't really call them "undervalued"

ZCL trading should start on Yobit soon

The list was not supported by any notion of the crypto owners. This implies that some of the choices may be subjected to emotion. I expect a comparison with the ICO price and how much is needed for the project. Most of project request for a ridiculous higher price compare with what it is at stake. Thats y am watching closely Qtum and some new project on how they are doing the campaign, and planning for the ICO while avoiding dump and getting funded

Ripple, Litecoin, Monero, Dash definitely not undervalued, even some of them overvalued IMHO. Their marketcap is too big already.
Doge may be undervalued but who wants to buy Doge in 2017, seriously?
Iconomi, Stratis and Steem is in my radar as well. It's a wise choice to hold some.
I/O Coin, Nexus, Bitbay, Expanse, Burst, OKCash, Crown, never heard. Trollcoin never heard either but considering the name I don't think it has a chance. Trollcoin for trolls?

Ripple was ignored for valid reasons as many investors did not believe it could grow but Monero is doing well. Litecoin faced a huge dump during halving and hence it is undervalued.

There are many more coins that are currently growing and are still undervalued like STX and UR.

IMHO, it is WAVES. Yes, they are behind schedule. However, they have a promising future if they deliver on what is promise.

They just asked people what coins they think are undervalued. Despite all the mistakes a crowd make(otherwise everyone would be rich and we would not have so many people crying because they lost money), online polls may be manipulated with fake entries and shilling, so the result is suspicious, at best.

OP being a 13 activity account also doesn't help to make it looks more trustable

What is special about Waves that other blockchains can't do?

One of them is Black coin, it is amazing how people investing in ico projects such as ETH to get something that is for free with Black Halo and Black coin. Prices can't even compare in this case. And this is not ico, no premine, distibution is fair.
What else do you need , try it, it's working.

In my opinion, BitBay Markets (BAY).

(note: I'm not affiliated with the BitBay team in any way)

David, the lead developer has been quietly working away at building a marketplace platform that already hosts a ton of features, which you can use right now.

Here are some reasons I love BAY: David is truly passionate about the project, and has been using his own budget to fund the project (no ICO's or vaporware scams), he and the team are 110% dedicated to the projects completion.

- The currency will have a "rolling peg" which will greatly reduce the coin's volatility. (The users will vote on when/how to limit the coin's supply) This is awesome because it will prevent the manipulation of price by whales etc., and create a more stable environment for investors. This feature will be introduced this fall/winter.

- My rough and hypothetical guesstimate on potential coin valuation: If you take the average of the top 3 industry competitors market caps (Amazon: $474.41B, eBay: $38.12B, Craigslist: roughly 8B) you would get $173.51 Billion. Divide this by the number of BAY and you get a value of $172 per coin. Too optimistic you say? Alright, even if BitBAY was able to take 1% of this market space, that would still be 1.735B, or $1.72 per coin. So, at the current price of $.02 per coin, there is a TON of room for growth. (Note: I realize this comparison may or may not be apples to oranges and is very approximate, but at least it gives me a rough idea of what the potential is.)

- DOUBLE DEPOSIT. This is a cool feature, because it means you can create a contract with another stranger, and not have to use a centralized 3rd party to monitor the transaction. If there is a dispute, then both parties are forced to come to an agreement, or else they both lose their deposits. This creates a near-perfect environment a truly decentralized and synergetic marketplace.

- Easy pre-made templates for creating your own smart contracts. This is next level, because so many people/investors (including myself) hardly know what a smart contract is, let alone know how to build one. BitBay Markets makes it easy, and all you have to do is fill out a form and your good to go. (The UI is also constantly being tweaked to be more user-friendly)

- It is a fully functioning platform that you can use right now. This big for me as an investor, because there is actual value behind the investment. Many of these coins have "roadmaps", but no actual working product... at least with BAY, I know that there is a dedicated and hard-working (former chess champion) using our money to make an already existing product better for everyone, and positioning it to succeed amongst competitors.

- Last but not least: They just brought on some experienced people to the marketing team, who will be promoting it this fall and building awareness, which up until now, hasn't been done at all. The team first built the product, now its time to promote and refine the product.

These are just a few of the many reasons why I believe that BAY is highly undervalued, and has great potential for positive returns in both the near and long-term future.
