OK the game is this, .5 bitcoin for the one that guesses to the penny, the all time high in a 24hr period from an hour and a half ago.   so... from 7pm MST to 7pm MST  guessing closes at 11pm MST (mountain standard time) (2 hours behind east cost time.) on Tuesday April 16th 2013

two catches though

1) must be bitstamp exchange NOT gox
2) if you guess above 100 and you get it right, TO THE PENNY you get ONE FULL BITCOIN. not 1/2 but 1/1 one full the whole pie the big inchelada the hundo the 8ball the benjimun!

limit one guess per person also limit of prize is 100USD

all amounts are in USD.

I can eliminate any player that i don't like, I will be the one to determine if there is a winner or not. .... I will be banned if I don't pay up.

I think 100 exactly was actually reasonably likely; as a psychological level - I had my doubts it would actually make it, but figured it had a good chance of bouncing off if it did.

actuly i saw a bunch of .02 buys....like ten or so in a row a few hours back up around that price....wasnt realy paying attention but i didnt think about it till now. they were around 102 somthing. couldnt tell you exactly. now i was gunna pay you but then he got it..... but i really really don't like cheaters, (not calling him one) BUT is it possible to do that. say if no one has a wall up then buy up to that with almost nothing just to make the price jacknife up then right back down? is it possible. seams kinda unlikly that it would hit 102.12 exactly when the price was no where near onehundred. the only time was early in the morning and it was a few dollers from 100 so i could see that. but 102.12 when the price was about 90.45? hummmmm

To be fair, if he did do that it wasn't against the rules, so technically it wasn't cheating  :)

Haha wow, thanks very much! For what its worth, I promise I didn't cheat or try to manipulate price at all. I really want to know if Theymos did buy up the price... not because I feel that would be unfair, but just because it would be quite an amazing guess if not.

YOUR WELCOME VERY MUCH:) haha  seriously didnt think anyone would guess right. the odds were one in one hundred for each dollar and maybe a 30 dollar window so one in three thousand... so congrats!!

and if your wondering why in the hell i would do this...well ill tell ya.  It came from a psychological background, I have my BS in psychology and when everyone and there dog tuned to bears after the burst (which was a good thing for me I did not have all my seed money in yet) I knew that the mindset of a group of people greatly affects the markets, so i knew i had to get people to start focusing on the positive upswing of a new ATH. I also knew that people dont give a shit about a ra ra ra speech, it has to make them motivated and really pay attention.  So a game that is all about getting our attention off of the FUD and negative "new low and call the bottom" bs and onto oh look how high its going. once people start to buy a little they will buy a lot.  or at least that was the idea. now it did go up 20 per BTC...not saying that its because of me and my game, but maybe just maybe it helped a little.

anyways if im ever not underwater with bitcoins maybe ill host another but until then adiós amigos! i gotta go get the beatdown from the warden  :-[

It was just a guess. I didn't do anything to manipulate the price. I wanted to guess above $100 and below $102 because the market often likes to stick to values near round numbers like $100. I chose 101.12 arbitrarily. It just looked like a nice number. If anyone drove up the price for my sake: thanks!

ha! nice try but there were all ready two winners and I paid them both, anyone else is welcome to make a game and a payout. truly though the chances are one in 3-5 thousand. if you guess to the penny.
