It'd be useful to try to find one in order to give things like much faster searches or a way to download topics that can then be viewed offline. (I know there was bitcointa.lk but that appears to no longer function). Bitcointa.lk used to be good for finding deleted/original posts that you no longer can or weren't archived fast enough. And if you need to search faster, then specify your searches using Google. If you need to "download" topics, there's the print page of every topic where you'll have all the replies. From there, you could save it or just simply keep that webpage opened for offline use. If you're talking about bitcointa.lk, their goal is good and you can check their thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=515932.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=515932.0) However, it doesn't mirror bitcointalk.org anymore because the certificate has expired. They were quite good when the crtificate was valid. But I think their website failed/software expired so the site is frozen. Hopefully it'll come back. |
