At the moment I'm a user of BitGo, which doesn't allow me to sign and verify with my address' so I wanted to know if anyone could make a recommendation on the best wallet to do this with so I can stake an address on this account in case anything was to happen to it.

If you have a computer device there, I recommend using Electrum you can sign a message and verify your address there. And it's easy to use as it is a lightweight desktop wallet and safe to store your coin. And if you have smartphone whether Android or IOS I recommend Mycelium mobile wallet, you can also sign there. I recommend this because I currently use this wallet and I never encounter any issue.

You can try blockchain.info which allows you to sign and verify messages. For this you have to create a wallet there, generate bitcoin address from bitaddress.org in offline computer and import that address to your blockchain.info wallet. From than on you can sign messages whenever you want or you can use the private key of your bitcoin address to sign message using other services like coinb.in but entering your private key anywhere online is not recommended.

iam recomended electrum wallet is complete feature, sign message, private key,
and without syncroninze or syncronize is very fast, if you want web wallet you can try http://www.coin.space

Have you ever used coin.space? I haven't heard about them till now, the only web wallet that i know with feature of signing and verifying message is blockchain web wallet.

Although i also recommend you to use electrum rather than any of the web wallets.

As 90% of my online activities throughout Android smartphone, I may try mycelium mobile wallet, to give it a shot, so I can sign a message there. And I've read a bit from Shorena thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0 which is very helpful, everyone must be started from somewhere, so I am.

Didn't even know this existed in the least, dam did Shorena put some effort into making this entire thing. I'll be using this to find out the wallet as well, but I'll probably be leaning towards Electrum even beforehand as I already have it downloaded.
