Why a person will invest in another cryptocurrency? What do think will be the features which a person will want in another currency. Do you spend in new coins for the future profit or something else are there which make you interested to invest in a new altcoin?

It is because the chance of getting another profit that's why many people are investing in another crypto or if he is going to be satisfied with that crypto, then he will invest.


Almost the same thing with bitcoin, good road map and potential profit on investment.


I'm doing both of it.

Of course for future profit since crypto currency is tradeable but I'm more in it's features like a gaming site or a merchant site that only accepts their currency or an algo that won't let big mining farm to mine all the coin the dev should be concentrated on massive adoption..

anyone buying a coin for its features is certifiably nuts. the only thing that counts is profit. features are a thing for the far future, if ever.

I like coin with a lot hype and community support,because it equals profit,we are all here for profit and we have proven that on the number of altcoins that came up in the past and the present,this is the number one motivation of any traders and holders.

when you are talking about an investment, the only thing that is important and anybody wants is "profit" and nothing else. when you invest your money or bitcoin in this case, you want something that can give you more of what you put in.
but you choose something that has at least some interesting features, not to use those features but those features act as potential for growth. something that can make the price go up and make your investment profitable.
and the better those features, the more you can make.

I am pretty sure that people invest in Altcoin's just for the money and nothing else.

It doesn't really make sense for people to put money into a coin that isn't theirs. It isn't Bitcoin.

it may depends a little bit on the altcoin that you have in mind. but majority of people are investing in altcoins to make profit. that is why you don't even see them looking for a wallet of that coin. they just buy at exchange, keep there and sell there also.
but there are some altcoins such as Monero that have some real world usage too, which means you can use Monero to pay for stuff and reach some higher level of anonymity. [just an example]

that is a different question.
the features are so different. sometimes it is anonymity but it works for some altcoins and don't work for others. sometimes it is staking and the same story and so on.

to be honest i am only sticking to bitcoin and don't care much about anything else. i just trade altcoins and hold bitcoin.

The underline thing is the profit, but you can't just be going around and investing in a projects without know the full details of what they are offering.
The new features is what attract investors to a project and if the fundamentals are strong and with a credible team you invest into it in return for future profit

I am also investing in altcoins because of the profit. I invest in those atcoins the developers of which are active and it is sure that it will increase higher in the value in the future. But in some altcoins announcements I saw some people that there is nothing new and they bounce back from there. What is it?

Try telling that to Ethereum users. Im sure most of them have bought into it and are now bag holders so have no choice but to big it up with promises of what it can do in the future =p

A altcoin with a successful working decentralised exchange would be something to invest in though. MT Gox will happen again and it has on smaller scales with other exchanges so once a coin can implement this properly i could see it being a winner.
