Title: Shares: 0 accepted
Post by: nanuqcz on April 18, 2013, 02:11:44 PM
Hi,
I already start using GUIminer. Succesfully join to "slush's pool". GUIMiner displays in bottom-right corner about 900 khash/s. But in bottom-left corner, it says "Shares: 0 accepted". What does it mean?

Thank you.

Share is a proof of work you send to the pool server. The mining pool break one large problem into smaller problems for miners to solve. You receive your reward (btc) based on the number of shares submitted.
