I used to trade with Poloniex but I do not earn a lot, my loses from trading is higher than my profit, I think due to Bitcoin crazy price up and down. Until I try Forex trading using WhaleClub, where I trade currencies using Bitcoin.

To be honest I found trading with real currencies like: GBP/USD, EUR/USD is more profitable than trading with BTC/ETH, etc..

trading cryptocurrencies are much more profitable than anything in the world. none of the pairs in the Forex market has gone up 120% in the past year but bitcoin has.
none of the Forex market pairs can even go up 200-500% in 3 days but altcoins can.

it is all about experience. if you can find these things before hand and take advantage of the situation then you make profit if not you lose money.

in the end, if you make more profit with Forex then do that, if you make more with crypto currencies then trade them. it is based on the person who is trading and the experience they have in the said markets.

there is pros and cons about this , but if you do it carefully then bitcoin trading has more potential profit ,
you have limited times to trade on forex , while in crypto you have 24/7 non-stop ,

Cryptocurrency trading seems to be the best for an increased profit. Price volatility is quite high right now, this could have gained traders a better profit. Even during the time of decreasing price the loss can be reduced if the profit margin is not that big. Forex needs a big study but bitcoin can be made easy if we have targeted price to sell.

I think its Crypto Currency also is more profitable but it depends on which platform you are convenient and knowledgeable. There are some who earns more in Forex that it is already their bread and butter,their livelihood and life.Both has risks,greater risks if you are  not very observant and cautious.

Trading with GBP/USD or trading fiat is not as profitable as trading with crypto currencies, because the government got a control for fiat, so the rising is limited, there won't be a sudden drop or sudden high rise, but in crypto anything can happens, one minute drop and the other minute spike high, when you want to be a professional trader, you will need to find a currency with a swing prices

I think it just really depends on your level of skill in trading. Both markets do have a potential for big profits, it's just up to you to know how to work in them. Though in crypto, there are extremely huge swings and potentially can double and even triple your money in a hour, unlike in Forex where things are gradual but can also potentially double your money.

Nothing beats forex and comparing them to the volume of each field crypto currency trading would only be a dust and cant stand any chance to forex but still its good to trade on both but i think forex which is more complicated compared to cryptocurrencies.

Trading crypto is much more profitable than in Forex, but the risk is much higher too. If you know well altcoins, then you can try in crypto trading and get fast profit, otherwise better stay in Forex.

For me tbh,  cryptocurrencies are easily the most profitable trading tool compared to different trading methods paired with btc. It doesn't go always on par with USD but rather with BTC alone and for me, you'll benefit for that big time. Also, there are many cryptos out there that you could really invest on, you just really need to have that optimism and knowledge about these coins that you're going to invest in.

As you'd expect someone to say on a Bitcoin forum, it's probably cryptocurrencies.  Cryptocurrencies are very profitable, just because of their volatility and also because (no offense to anyone here) people who trade cryptocurrencies are sometimes less experienced and make mistakes which allow other people to profit.

Cryptocurrencies aren't for the faint hearted though, everything profitable is pretty risky.  Since they don't physically exist cryptocurrencies often just randomly disappear and loads of cryptocurrencies get completely dumped after a while, so when you put in any substantial amount of currency you're at a huge risk of losing most of it and you therefore have to be pretty clever and have quick reactions or anticipation of events to make any decent profit from cryptocurrencies.

Are you sure forex is more profitable? As I heard from some people, forex trading needs big bankroll in order to get decent profit as it is not as fluctuative as cryptocurrencies. I have never tried forex before, but from what I have heard I'm sure crypto trading is much more profitable.

i have voted for trading cryptocurrenceis because i find them more profitable because of the size of their fluctuations. you never see it anywhere else. but i also say that this is mostly a matter of preference. i certainly would never go for Forex trading because all my little experience lies in crypto trading, and i'd be lost over there.

Forex, because of the followings:

- Except Bitcoin, crypto don't have enough liquidity, this means in many cases, you won't be able to trade at your right price.
- Volatily, coz if you can earn 100% in few days, this means you will loose as well. Also remember many altcoins are even not worth penny stocks.

I think for me they are just both good to trade but its more scam in crypto currencies than forex.. if you compare them much more people are trading with forex than crypto currency.. most of the people here are want hold some altcoin and thinking that those altcoin will be the next bitcoin..

Sorry , but I am not agree because I don't found forex is more profitable than in trading with cryptocurrency .
But if you will see thoroughly in the forex trading then every activity of up and down of market will see clear but in case of cryptocurrency trading  everything have no clear reason of up and down of price .

It's depends on your skill.
I do both, but I prefer to cryptocurrency even altcoin(of course I selecting one/two of whole altcoin), altcoin is good to arbitrage because the gap makes the risk decreased.
Cryptocurrency is unique because it's decentralized, when some news appear it will affect the market clearly depends how kind of news (good/bad).

Forex trading is more stable and skill based than cryptcurrencies trade
it takes more time,more initial information about trading and sadly less profit than crypto currencies trading
due to the volatility,crypto trading can make you very goos money and very fast

When you are more comfortable with fiat market then focus on Forex. There is nothing like better or worse way of trading.
The main determinant is your trading success and profits you can gain. Trading cryptotocurreny is not for everyone.
Crazy volatile market and sudden shifts of price might be frustrating, Forex is more predictable and easy to understand.

well in some point the forex trading really got some edge especially if you already have a lot of knowledge regarding how the market moves, its understandable and can get easy assessment while in crypto fluctuation will be the challenge if lucky enough and speculation did a well job bigger chances to have big earnings in returned so likewise if where your interest allow you to earn then focus from it.

If you are trading with cautious and aware of the cryptocurrencies which you are investing into, trading with cryptocurrencies 100% more profitable rather than forex. Even short-term trading has been more profitable with cryptocurrencies. I agree that there are more scammers and possible loss of investment in trading crypto's but if you know what you are doing then it is best.

i vote for crypto trading. it is easier and more profitable because of the pump and dumps. you just have to learn how to spot pre-pump activity and then get in before the pump happens to make the most amount of profit. and also you can always join in on the way up and sell on top. the pumps are big enough to provide such opportunities.

then there is also the good cryptocurrencies to invest in. obviously bitcoin investment never goes wrong in the long term. but also altcoins such as litecoin and monero are also keeping their value up and are a very good place to invest your fiat.


p.s. it is funny that in this board all those who are saying Forex is best are "usually" advertising a Forex related stuff.

the reason is on trading crypto or trading altcoins we can do hold positions if we are wrong prediction,
 but on trading forex we must do cut lost if we are wrong prediction and it is mean losing money  ;D
But if we are hold as long as we don't cut lost still there is chance for getting profit.

you can't say one is more profitable than the other. they are two different markets with two very different worlds. in Forex the market is huge and swings are very small and in many cases it is very predictable. but the profit making in there is very hard and you need a huge amount of experience and a rather large investment to make any profit and in some cases the fees are higher too and not to mention the taxes that you have to pay.

but with trading cryptocurrencies the market is smaller and swings are much bigger, that means a much bigger profit opportunity. it is less predictable but also it can be very easily predicted too. the pumps which don't exist in Forex happen easily in altcoins and can be easily found and exploited for big profit.

in short there are always ups and downs and pros and cons to both of them.

I think that Crypto can be waaaaay more profitable than Forex for a couple of reasons:

* a trader will "compete" with a lot of wannabes so he has a better chance to get more money.
* it's an unregulated area so dirty tricks (pump and dump, FUD, ..) are easier to be achieved and get gains.
* a seasoned investor or trader will see better which ICOs can be an opportunity (either by investing in ICO and selling later, either trading after the ICO ends, or after the cool down..)..

All in all, it's a great side-business to any trader who wants to invest time to follow this area.

That depends in your skills on trading. You can make profit on both. Altcoin trading and forex are different. Altcoin trading is profitable and less risk. Also you can trade altcoin in just small capital. But i think forex is more profitable than altcoin. But too risky and very hard to do. You could lose your money in a blink of an eye.

In a trading with altcoin prices could fall to very low and it could be detrimental. Actually, both have great risk and is also profitable. But I prefer to trading with forex because it's easier. Market conditions forex depends on the information circulated as economics, politics, war, disaster. Especially if developed countries, there is little sensitive information, prices can move up and down. So this is easier to do, as opposed to trading with crypto that not only with the information circulating, but there are other factors that affect.

Forex is cool because in theory you can even trade the 1m chart. feess are much lower. leverage allows "100% grows" in a few minutes.

It is irrelevant on choosing where to trade from Forex to Cryptocurrencies or even Trading Stocks. It is a matter of what will you buy all of them can be used and analyze by Technical Analysis it tells you if it is a good buy or not. All 3 of them requires a careful review and a thorough research as this can be a good factor to see on how much you will profit from it. But let me remind you even if you are good at analyzing it is not always 100% going your way.

I'm not into forex trading but I'm seeing a lot of people that are happily trading with it and it looks like you are one of them.

But for me, since I'm into trading of crypto currency I would say that you need to study more about it.

Maybe you are not good at it but good thing that you are good in forex.

Technical analysis on each trading does have difference and you will able to tell the difference when you do trade on either of those things. Technical analysis does really require but forex is complex compare to cryptocurrency.

Never heard of Whaleclub but its true you can profit more on forex if you have the system. The indicators had been mastered by several traders already which is why somehow its almost accurate to predict where the market is going. So easy to predict which now makes the market easily gets overbought and you have to exit before the market moves against you. Traders knew that leverage is a double edge sword it sometimes cuts you with the margin call  ;D

Different traders might be getting different experiences. But definitely regardless of where we are trading, if we have sufficient knowledge to handle market fluctuations, can find always profits.

Making profits with trading in cryptocurrencies is comparatively easy rather than doing so with forex because the price volatility is usually more in cryptocurrencies (especially fiat / cryptocurrency trading). There are more chances of entry and exit in crypto trading than that of forex and hence it is more profitable in my opinion.

For me, I think its profitable both as long you know how to trade forex and to trade cryptocurrencies. Once you have the skills, techniques,knowledge and determination you can be more profitable in trading both. This will gives you continuos learning during trading forex and cryptocurrencies.

Two types of this platform has each advantages and deficiency. For example, in forex trading there is a rule that called margin call that can make your money completely used up, but you can't find it in bitcoin or cryptocurrencies trading platform. So your money is safe even if the price drop to 1000 point.
If we talk about profit, a man knows god never show us where is the money. If you think you get more lucky on forex trading, then develop your skill on it.

there are a couple of platforms that are offering margin trading both for bitcoin and other cryptocurrency tradings. the Chinese exchanges that everyone is talking about these days use to have it also but they had to remove it.

and i have to say i voted for cryptocurrencies because i believe the rules of this market is more understandable for me than the rules of Forex which is a huge market in a dog eat dog world.

To my mind trading with btc/usd is more profitable than any others which were written here. Also many things depends on trader, maybe you will be better in forex or crypto trading. When trading with real currencies, there isn't much profit but when trading with bitcoin, it's way to better because price is changing very quickly. Of course everything has it's own risk but there are chanses of minimizing that risks.

Forex trading can make you huge profit or make you broke in just a matter of minutes because most forex brokers uses up to 1000th of a decimal for their spread thus making the price very volatile causing each trader to gain or loss with just a fraction of price fluctuation in such a short period of time and this kind of actions are very consistent everyday, anytime across all forex pairs compare to BTC trading which most of the day is relatively quiet unless a sudden pump and dump activity occurs or a huge market moving news like the upcoming Winklevoss ETF decision.

FOREX don't have 1000 decimal. they only use 4 and 2 for the Japanese Yen.  One reason that can make you loss on Forex is through the leverage they allow for traders who have tons of money on their account. In crypto there is sure what to win, invest on BTC.  Investing on BTC won't be losing money with it but then its going to take time unlike on forex that a trader can  simple raise their leverage to also amplify the profit for every inflation.

In trading world, Forex or Bitcoin trading, we must be able to mastering any analysis,
fundamental analysis and technical analysis. With that tactics we can often get profit than losses.

I find Forex trading more profitable, might be because I understand it better than Trading with Cryptocurrency. But recently I am entering into latter, at the moment I am not being able to do well, but I hope knowledge will from the other sector will take part.

Do crypto.  One of the things that I love about bitcoin is that it's the ideal asset for newbies to learn out to trade.

It is really depends on what kind of trader are you, the answer is subjective so we cannot say that trading cryptocurrencies are more profitable than forex and also in vice versa. I trade both but trading I'm more used to trade cryptocurrencies than forex because it is what I want. I make money from both but I can handle the volatility and manage the risks more when I trade cryptocurrencies. Even though I'm earning more from trading cryptocurrencies, it still not mean that it is more profitable than trading forex.

For someone who just finished a few courses on Technical Analysis focused on both market, would you recommend to focus only on the Crypto market at first or trading on both market from the start would be a better idea (more trades opportunities)?  

Yes, that will depend on how good you trade. If we are trading more in crypto and we have skills in crypto trading, I think we will be able to make a profit in crypto than in the forex. So I think you have more skills in crypto trading than in forex trading because you can manage the risks in crypto trading than in forex trading. The other people will have a different opinion too about which will be more profitable because they have different skills than us.

This is actually depend on your strategy, trading forex and trading crypto currency are same. You can use your strategy to trade in forex and crypto currency as well. As for the entry issue, I just think if you need more chance to entry the market you should choose a small time frame like 15 minutes, 10 minutes and 5 minutes. The volatility market is not guarantee for you to gain profit, this goes back to your strategy, your analyst, your experience to meet in any market situation.

It's like you are asking which gambling game is more profitable, poker or slots? While for some poker can be disaster and slots profitable, you will find a bunch of other people who feels the opposite. It's the same here, for me crypto trading is more profitable, but I don't trade forex, I never did. What is more profitable for someone is not necessary profitable for others, it's same with losing side, while some people lose, others are making money with the same thing.
What is better for you depends only on you, it's for what you have some skills, knowledge, it will go better for you. If you are just doing that because you saw others doing it, you will probably lose your money. So find yourself and what is good for you, what is that you can find with trying one, then other, and like that until you find the best option for you.

Its quite difficult to trade highly volatile cryptocurrencies due it price momentum which is often difficult to analyze in most cases and often defies technical analysis however a lot of traders simply embrace buying low and selling high which when apply for crypto trading works well, cryptocurencies risk to reward ratio are also high however forex trading involves both technical and fundamental analysis with a moderate volatility and a small spread or commission which is more profitable, personally I prefers forex trading to crypto trading while avoid any sort of analysis on crypto trading than just buying low and hodl then sell at high.

Foreign Exchange Market trading for me is too slow to make a profit from. Instead my preference is crypto currency trading as the market is much more volatile, yes, also risker though.
With crypto trading you can leverage and improve odds of profit by analysing which Alts could make the next big move whilst still having not much of the market cap  ;D

We can really differentiate between the two in talks of volatility aspect.We do know that the higher the volatility intensity the higher the possible profitability but same goes into the risk involved.

Yes, every person involved in crypto trading and forex trading will need skills and knowledge to start making a profit. If they don't learn to improve their skills, they will not make a profit, but they can get lost many times.

I think that this question can be answered ambiguously, since it is easier to trade on Forex than cryptocurrencies. but thanks to the volatility of cryptocurrencies, a trader makes a profit several times more than Forex trading. trading in fiat currencies, in my opinion, is very limited in its capabilities, besides, in order to get a good profit, you initially need to have a very large start-up capital, unlike trading in cryptocurrency.

I disagree on the real currency trades. They are too slow and have snail movements to be honest. If you comparing them with the current speeds then behold, it's because of economic turbulence of Corona. It's more or less fake movement.

On the normal day it would have zero effect and all the currencies will be moving one or two bar ups and down.

However, when we get into crypto the movement is volatile and you get an opportunity to trade with confidence. You know very well there will be at least significant change in the market so as to grab pointy profits.

Trading crypto or forex doesn't matter, they are not really that different things from each other, what matters is how much you are willing to spend on learning them, if you are very good at forex you could basically switch that to crypto as well, if you are very good at crypto you may need to learn few more things about forex too, because politics barely ever effect crypto and only do if it is about crypto, but politics effect forex all the time, when it is not even about forex, it could be military or anything and it would be effected.

I would say pick whichever one you prefer and feel more comfortable with, forex is a lot more legal and a lot more common so if you go with that there are some advantages, crypto is a lot more high tech and you could be super rich very quickly which are the advantages of that.

If we are talking about the trading volume, of course forex market has a much higher trading volume than the cryptocurrency market. But this does not mean that the profit potential of forex is greater than the crypto market. Forex is not a volatile market and offers steady profits unlike cryptos. Although, if we talk about trading volume, forex has an average daily trading volume of 5.1 trillion dollars with is a lot when compared to crypto market.

A trader can trade on any platform considering where his expertise lies. If you are a good trader, you could make significant profits from any market be it the cryptocurrencies, forex or stock market. Excuse me, no offense but I beg to disagree with your statement. Because to be honest it is much better to trade cryptocurrency/Bitcoin rather than Forex. I've voted for Trading cryptocurrency. Trading cryptocurrency is much more profitable because I've once traded forex I couldn't even understand more about it. But so far, I found trading cryptocurrency much easier and profitable.

Trading forex is excellently profitable within a space of time. Cryptocurrency trading volatility is dull compared to forex, it had been estimated that market capitalisation of forex is disgusting and surprising, getting profit and loss is essentially fast in forex, one can loose $2000 within 8mins but that can happen in cryptocurrency trading when talking about lost. One considers crypto when holding coin for a very long time just as holding hectares of lands for the future.  Conclusively, forex market is more preferable than crypto I terms of quick gains and profit.

The funny thing about this question is that you’re asking it in a cryptocurrency forum, so you’re likely to get the answer that cryptocurrency trading is far much better. It’s still up to you to decide. You said you have tried cryptocurrency trading and you were making losses instead of profit, and when you tried forex you started making profit, how about you go for the one that’s working out for you, since the main reason we are doing this is to earn money right? If you have tried cryptocurrency and it’s not working for you, and forex is working, you should continue with forex and look for ways to get even more better in it. Maybe when you are good at it, you can then try to do crypto trading.

Because the word volatile makes the price of crypto fluctuate so the more it will fluctuate of move the price the better chances of having profited from the volatile things. However, this is very risky than the forex, because you will never know when it will fluctuate and where the crypto price heading at, not just like forex trading, it is almost stable the price, the movements are not too volatile.
Nevertheless, both are trading and it will depend on the traders how to manage the risk under circumstances.

I'd look into that way also. They are both in trading and it only depends on the trader and how they work on it. But for us who are exposed already in crypto trading, it eventually makes us get preferred to choose this platform than a new one ( which is something discoverable also). However, it was just to close the door for it, we can't either say also if we never make a try with Forex.
