Title: Sent btc, transaction not found
Post by: ptownzfinest on February 28, 2017, 06:09:14 PM
I sent over 2 transactions, one yesterday and one today. Both are showing up as transaction not found and sitting at unconfirmed. When I try to search them on blockchain, blockexplorer etc it shows transaction not found, but when I check live.blockcypher.com it shows up there. Is the BTC just gone, I sent it from one wallet I control to another (mycelium) or is it going to take several days and then reappear in my electrum? Or is there anything I can do to speed this process up.

Post the transaction IDs here if you don't mind making them public.

You probably sent them with too low a fee. The Bitcoin network is busier than normal, there are over 55000 transactions waiting to be confirmed, and yours will be at the back of that queue if their fee is too low.

Your Bitcoins are not lost, either the network will forget your transactions after a long time, or they will confirm and your Bitcoins will show up in the mycelium wallet. If the network forgets your transactions your Bitcoins will reappear in your electrum.

This thread explains your options.
