I have some funds at Coinbase and did some transaction to check it out the moment I read your post.

Unfortunately, same case here. I can't do a bitcoin transaction. Can someone enlighted us or who is familiar with the "AWS outage continues to impact Coinbase and GDAX services" thing.

That means they're facing some serious issues in their system.currently all activity are now disabled including coinbase exchange.May be a big ddos issue.I am not familiar with AWS and GDAX services.

I have an incoming transaction in coinbase but since they're down i still can't see my transaction in coinbsae.
But i can see my transaction in the block explorer https://blockchain.info/address/1C7XRMUB2Mhn8ArK21X2R2ysg4aKNWFBu6

Funny thing about amazon is that the website was still running when the outage started. Seems like they can't rely on their own technology.

Last update from coinbase..
"GDAX is back online and trading has resumed. We are now working to restore Coinbase services. "

So they will resume their service shortly.

it is not very good since coinbase is trying to stop users from sending bitcoin. Bitcoin is anonymously and controlled by individual and it is unacceptable that transactions can not be sent in Coinbase. If you want fully control your Bitcoin, I suggest you should change to another kind of wallet such as the Core.

I started to be worried when reading the first post of this thread. But yeah AWS outage  has been a problem the last day. Amazon was down for sometime as well, at least in my country.
I am happy to see it was just a problem with AWS.... Still don't understand why a site like Coinbase is using such service. With their size they should avoid any third party service, you never know what can happen, you just add another risk layer

Same to you. At first Kinda worried while reading the thread. User of canbase really disappointing for me this search of news, but the last two days their nothing any transaction with my canbase so can't feel any wrong, now it's all right and this time to need make a decision use another service for our safety.

I can't even login now. It asks for Authy code and now when I installed the app, it cannot verify my code. Looks like their wallet is useless now for transactions. They need to work on everything if they don't want to lose their users. I've contacted their support and hope to get a reply soon.

Isn't it just sms code sent to your phone? That is what I remember they sent to you if you had problems logging in previously or they found a discrepency in your previous log in attempt.
I thought they had google authenticator enabled as a secondary security step.
Is that what your referring too perhaps?

stay away from coinbase while you still can. I have just lost 0.02 from this third party wallet and I swear to god I would never use it again. Damn it. I have sent the support ticket and they replied that the country which I live in is not supported by coinbase. Well, I won't be surprised if one day coinbase block your account and steal your money

They used to send codes to my phone earlier but I don't know why they changed this option to getting a code from Authy app. I also installed the app with my phone number saved with coinbase, got the coinbase code but still it shows that it's invalid. I don't know how to recover the account now.

Yes that was it either Authy (I have never trusted to use it in the first place) and google authenticator.
I don't think this will be the first account of this happening and definitely won't be the last.

That's why I don't want to use that Authenticator app in any kind of website especially with the important thing like bitcoin. Just logged in now and everything went smoothly. Have an experienced also to received some invalid email confirmation multiple times but the solution I did is to relogged several times and used the new email confirmation.

About the topic, it has been fixed yesterday and did some small transactions to test it out. Just noticed too that it has now some feature of modifying the transaction fees and not just to use the default fees that will covered by Coinbase itself.

LOL at "that means" replies of yours. Of course it's obvious that they are facing issues in the system and Im aware of that. My question is about that AWS thing and GDAX which is you are not familiar too.

The buy and sell is active now as I able to transfer my small amount now to my primary wallet.

I noticed that too. There is an additional box now for option on modifying the transaction fees. Kinda good enough because of the slow confirmation that is happening most of the time.

However, after solving GDAX connection issue there was still some difficulties while sending BTC out from my coinbase wallet.Like transaction was sent 30 minutes ago but still not located on blockchain.
But now i am using my wallet without having any problem.

If they cut off buy and sell because they want personal info can you still send what you own to your own wallet? I don't think I trust them anymore.

Well never mind. I just sent it to my wallet so it's all good, just to let people know who might be facing the same issue.
