But due to the increase of the price the price of less famouse altcoins are became down .
So here is a better chance to buy some altcoins?

My thoughts is in line with what you have said, assets should be bought when there are low in price and sold when there are high in price. The Best time to buy altcoins especially those that are low in price is now because with little Satoshi you can get them in quantity and coverts it again when there appreciate.

so if but altcoin this now is not competitif, because bitcoin price can very big incraese in 9 - 11 march if SEC ETF and PBOC aprove bitcoin
or can crash and down price if disaprove, so i think is good wait and see

I see no problem buying or selling anytime, as long as you buy low and sell high and of course you should look at the price on Satoshi and not USD otherwise you will find yourself confused and probably losing instead of making any profit, this is also valid as long as you are planning to hold bitcoins for the long term.
If you are spending your coins however (buying stuff), you should do it while the price is high and when It's low because you will be spending more In that case.

Let's keep an optimistic approach and hope for the best. Any decision in favour or against will be a chance to enter in the bitcoin while considering the long term. Even if the decision goes against it then the price will drop below $1,000 and there are lot of traders who are willing to buy bitcoin at that price so even if it crashes, it will be an opportunity.

most of the altcoins you see out there are going down, and it has nothing to do with bitcoin price, that is their nature to get dumped because they were pump and dump coins.

but about some coins what you said is true, some of them have some good potential to rise and the dips these days can be a good chance to pick some cheap coins up before they bounce back up.

Well, you can buy Bitcoin at a high price, but it can go even higher later on. At the same time, you can buy altcoin at a lower price, but it will eventually go even lower.

I think currently Bitcoin break out in the price that reaching all time high due to Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) news effect. Usually, When bitcoin begin to pump high, most of altcoin getting freezed or even the their price going down. So I have two cases for trading the meantime :
- If ETF is denied I would sell all BTC to fiat or buying ZEC ( this crypto tend to rise up for long-term )
- If ETF is accepted I would hold my BTC because I think it it can pump higher $1500

eventually if bitcoin keeps rise up alts will fall and we already see that from previous movement of bitcoin the more the value go forward alts falling down and if we go and buy alts better to look and find those good alts with more progress ahead so if the value went up even the rise of bitcoin we will be able to profits.

Usually that is the case but it depends on what altcoin will be on hand as some of the alts remains what they are even there is an ongoing price increase or decrease in bitcoin.

If a person really doesn't sure but wants to test it out then have some spare funds on risk and start buying those alts that they think will become active in pumping scene once this bitcoin tremendous increase will slow down. See the output by themselves if that is the best thing to do.

The better time to trade is now, as long as there is a swing and you can catch the opportunity then you can make profit, bitcoin price is very high at the moment, but that doesn't means that it can't increase again and not alt coin is going down due to the bitcoin rising price, the most important things in trading is your analysis skill to determine which coin to trade

I just think that long term bitcoin is the ultimate buy, yes i have been lucky when buying some alts and have been able to make a few bitcoin doing so, but it is not a cert.  i would put all my money into bitcoin these days small bits at a time.  ;D

It could be a good time to start trading another coin like Etherium. But there may also be an opportunity to buy more Bitcoin if the price drops again. If the ETF isn't approved, the price will surely drop some.

As you say it is not right time to trade now because of pumping of the price of bitcoin. So my suggestion is save bitcoin for know just hold it until the price meets it's top and dump When that is happen sell your bitcoin and make the decision for yourself. And if you want to go to trading it's better to wait for the right moment when the bitcoin price became stable means the pumping and dumping is not that high you can trade if that is happening because it is the right time to have some profit in trading.

I think now is the right time to buy altcoin in large numbers. with estimates that altcoin price decreases and increases at some future time.

Yes, as we can see as of now bitcoin price is continue increasing. There are many altcoins are affected of its hiking and it will make low altcoins down more. So for now, I think if you are great trader you will stop trading because you know that you didn't earn in this time so better paused what you had already done in trading and continue if the price of btc will paused but I think it will consumed much time.

Not all altcoins are on red since there are coins are going along on the price trend of bitcoin.I could say that its still good to trade on altcoins but speaking on price of bitcoin it think its not ideal  since its on uptrend we still dont know on when it would drop.

less famous altcoins go down because they are getting dumped all the time, and it doesn't really matter what bitcoin price is and if it goes up or down.
and for these altcoins never is a good time to pick them up unless you are planning on losing some money or you know it is going to get pumped soon.

other altcoins, yes it is good to buy some if there was a dip and you know the altcoin is good enough to go up in price. but you have to be more specific about your altcoins you want to invest in if you want more specific help.

The better time for me for trading is the altcoin is at a cheaper price while the bitcoin is soaring high. This is the good time to do so, to invest while its affordable. Once the price pump you can earn big, you can earn relly profit.

I do think the same as you. However, you need to be very wise while choosing altcoin to invest. Have you checked the yesterday chart? Dash coin has just dropped and many people lost a lot of money. The coin was pumped for many months and sharply decreased. Well, if you are not an expert and invest in an arbitrary, your money will easily go away

We don't have choice but to shift to alt coin trading if you are a bitcoin trading and just do buying and selling of bitcoins most of the time.

Etherum is a good buy now. It's also getting a good price and it is rising. Looks like Etherum will be the next to be pump I think. And I agree that this altcoin will be high when the ETF is not approved of bitcoin.

ethereum is good selection for trading but if he have big amount because if he buy small part, i think its not enough to make some profit and only small small. if he have big amount, then beside ethereum, maybe he will considering to by dash, because we see that dash can be good selection too. now almost altcoin is getting lower and i think its good for us to make buy order and just keep it into our wallet and waiting the next moment to gets increase. after bitcoin is stable and reach the new floor, i think the time for altcoin to rise and gets new price too like bitcoin.

In trading, we make profit only when we buy the coins in a low price and hold them and when price go to high than sell them, it is trading, and also choice good coins. So in my eyes, bitcoin is best but now bitcoin is on the top, and it is hard to buy now, but it is better to hold now and see the least highest price and than sell them.

Yes it is best to buy altcoins now because they are pretty low price and cheap and that is the best for a trader who is looking for something profitable and investment. If you already bought altcoins then you just need to wait for the bitcoin price to be low so the traders can buy more bitcoin and they can surely make the altcoins price high again.

Based from what you have said, I think if bitcoin still are getting its prices going high, altcoins price will still drop. So if you buy bitcoins, I think it will be no profit.

but to me i think it is the better time to trade. although some people think that the price of bitcoin is now trading a little high but i think still there is time to trade bitcoin because the price of bitcoin can go some more high for next few months. and that is way i also have decided to wait and not sell my bitcoins right now.

News from different website that support the coin and also the discussion in the forums can really help you to realize on what is going on and after that you can make conclusion if a coin will pump or dump. Yeah youre right, bircoin price countinuously ascending base in the latest update by the end of year 2017 the bitcoin price hit $2500 up to $3000 price per bitcoin and make $10,000 by 2020. to do a good trade I think you have to see how the price of Bitcoin this time, if the price of bitcoin grows you have to make a sale altcoin you have, and wait until the price of Bitcoin stable or down, if you 'have looked down, you just buy altcoin that you think is good and start trading back maybe that way you will benefit. :D

When the price of the bitcoin goes up they start focusing on it which drives the altcoin prices down, so right now is the best time to buy them and save them for another time, but don’t dump a lot of money into them they are a bit risky.

Yes, just buy Etherium or Dash the prices in buying that alt-coin is good right now
and hold it for a bit. I'm seeing those two as good investments because the volumes
of those 2 altcoins is moving very fast so I think a lot of investors are putting their
money of it. But of course there's always Bitcoin, so if you have money, you can
also put on it as well, and just wait for the SEC decision on whether to approve

I also think it is a good period of time, to buy the coins whom have a lowest price right now. Because in trading, we always make profit when we buy the coins in a lowest price, and a lot of other coins are here, except bitcoin. 

For me there's nothing wrong if we buy some of the altcoin in the exchange, it is much better to buy some altcoins if I were you, because there also a kind of digital currency.

To be honest, this altcoin market has become so unpredictable and full of pump & dump coins that I have gradually stopped my altcoin trading to migrate to the Forex trading. Fortunately there are several brokers that accept bitcoin to deposit and withdraw money, and fiat currencies tend to be more stable and easy to analyze than altcoins.

But you can invest in high potential altcoins with a good volume and it will give you profits in long run if you keep on investing in shit coins then it won't give you profitable results as it may disappear with an blink of eye and I think altcoin trading is much better then forex trading as in forex big whales can easily manipulate the market which makes it more risky.

Actually, doing trade has no limit and time frame. In fact you can do it any time you want whether you sell it or buy, just important is you know what you are doing. As long as you can see it is good time to buy well take the chance to buy it and sell it.

It seems indirect way of approaching the trading. When we are sure about what bitcoin prices are going to do, we can make profits out it alone no need to risk with altcoins based on bitcoin's fluctuations.

I agree with the first part of the sentence and disagree with the second one. Trading is quite risky but one still has a chance to earn money this way even without good skills. All one needs in coinmarketcap to see the price charts and bitcointalk to see what others write about coins. But as for the lowest price coins... I think this is wrong. If the coins is worth a couple of cents why should one think it will cost more later? I think that the price has to be at least around $1. Because this means that coin at least has a chance.

Yes i think if you want to trade in altcoins you must buy when bitcoin goes up because as my observation when the bitcoin price up the altcoin goes down then bitcoin goes down the altcoin goes up. So i think you can trade that time buy altcoin when they goes down and sell it when they goes up.

Trading through altcoin and bitcoin pair is an idealistic to make profit. As long as you ride the flow of bitcoin's currency, you would earn profit for sure thing. However, if you can't handle your emotion qhile holding your coin, you could probably lose instead of gain.

The better time for trading for me is, when a altcoin have had changes in prices of up to 30% within a few days. then I'll buy or sell it.

But how you will identify the potential of an altcoin and how much it will be assure that one altcoin will grow 30% in few days itself. I guess most probably you are working with inside information. Otherwise depending upon these types of startegy will not get anyone profits.

Honestly in my experience, trading altcoins must be a kind of gambling. You cannot be sure when one coin will get dumped. Like gambling, we cannot be sure about profit making with altcoins, but if we get chances we can make huge profits too.

Yes i agree, one should have know the basic rule on trading in order for them to have a good trading. There is no specific timing or when to start on trading. If you are going to trade you should know when or not to buy and sell using a wallet with converter  or through values and price rate. So if you are going to start on trading you should have the proper knowledge about bitcoin so it is not hard for you to do trading in the first place.  And i suggest to have a source of income through bitcoin so you can have a capital for your tradings.

I guess you get nothing from trading and just throw your money to exchanges a.k.a loss . If we're go back when the prices is down for every coin that's the best time to buy some and hold it till know at least for short-term profit and there are a chance for same event happen again.

Dump is been washed out I think because price is started again rising. Now the value around 1050$. Think that we might saw the small fork in the past a week. Therefore, hold the bitcoins in the wallet as much you can. It would be helpful in future.

3 days ago all altcoin showing signs will go up when the bitcoin fell I think it's the right time for trading and today almost all altcoin green in poloniex and now bitcoin starting to grow up so more careful to trading

There will be no possibilities to figure out the better time for trading in your methodology as predicting how bitcoin prices will move would be the another challenge here. If you get reliable information on bitcoin price movements like it will go up or down then you can make use of that for reciprocal direction of altcoins. But this way, why not we just trade bitcoin itself, it always has the minimum guarantee for profits if we are ready to hold it.

Altcoin was being affected by bitcoin in terms of its market and value. Since they are inversely proportional, when bitcoin dumps, expect that altcoin will rise. It seems a working strategy for altcoins but I feel the catch would be predicting accurately about bitcoin's peak levels so that we could start investing into altcoins. No, actually I don't think it would.  The price of altcoins has been at a shockingly high level recently and it can't get much higher, so a slight drop may well be a permanent drop in many of these coins as Bitcoin progresses.

No I do not think that now is the time to buy altcoins because this is the time of bitcoin as bitcoin is increasing in price very faster and if someone will not keep bitcoin with himself then he will lose the chance to get benefit from the price increase.

If you think altcoin is helpful to you, then why not, I don't see any wrong if we buy altcoin if their price value is crashing down especilally if all the top 10 listed in the coinmarket.cap is being reduce. i open positions buy altcoins and hold up to the price going up
but it is work for long time strategy and doesn't good for short time strategy trading, usually it take time about one week

i think we should have time to do trading and we should prepare what time to do because its really hard if we are still do offline work and we can not focus with our trading. after everything is set up, then we need to watch in the market, what we want to buy, is it bitcoin-usd or bitcoin-altcoin. after we determine for example we want to do trading bitcoin-altcoin, we need to watch and select the coins, make analysis even for depth analysis. and then we can place our buy order and wait until our order buy is filled so we can place our order sell to make our profit.

There is so much money coming into this market that almost everycoin is rising. I bought SIA for my bitcoins and so far I won't regret it but the future will learn. I think bitcoin needs to improve in the time it takes to send coins over the blockchain, that becomes slower and slower. Anyway now I wright this the price is altime high, so the market is always right. Enjoy your weekend everyone. :D

Yes anytime is the best time then it will be best if you have more knowledge about trading and watch already so for the mean time you can try to trade with small amount for you to experience and gain the true skills .Having a good research and analysis here will be your base as the forum market altcoins you can see those altcoins ,on going or old alcoins which will have a good community active devs and their very own projects.

While I was only a watcher for some very long time now, the actual rally brought me back to crypto currency trading. Fingers crossed for a bright future! ;-)

well in trading, asong as you feel good about making a trade, for me that would be the right time. what's important is about making good decisions and having the guts to take calculated risks. also, try to read threads about the coins you're planning to trade on because that's when you'll have an idea of what the perfoect time would be.

Therefore I conclude that there are people who are just watching and they have a timing on when to formally get on board, I hope you will succeed with your journey because I think it is not yet late for anyone who wants to ride with the success of bitcoin. By looking at the price, I can really tell the surge will continue and this is not a kind of manipulation as some people are thinking, it's real, we have hit over $2,000 now.

Well it is a good time to trade with other alt coins considering that BTC is on it's way to an all time high. I've already profited from a couple of altcoins the past few weeks and I've purchased a couple more by reading threads here about coins that have potential. I think it's all about making the proper risks on which coin to trade by researching the coin's potential.

In trading we can make transactions at any time, but we need to determine the time to make transactions in order to profit can be obtained large and in accordance with our wishes. And I think better time for trading When price movements begin to rise.

yes that is really right, it is still time to trade bitcoin, the bitcoin price has already crossed the psychological barrier and is therefore now best chance to cross 3000 USD level aslo. therefore to me  think it is still good time to to invest here and then wait for long time to get a good profit.as short time investment can be risky. and therefore i will always like to invest in bitcoin for long term and not for short term.

in fact it is still good time for trading or investment in bitcoin. for not for short period of time, i think long term investment can be profitable here, as the price of bitcoin is already trading so high and there are more chances that the price of  bitcoin can take some correction and the price can come down a little therefore short term investment will create problem.

That is what traders do, they start buying when the price of currency start rising again or when it falls a lot. It's the best time for trading, but traders should choose a trusted altcoin or after a big dump this currency probably won't recover its price.
And you will lose your money by holding this currency.

That is why don't hold your coins for a long time. When the price is started to drop sell the coins and make money. Don't expect 100% profit in trading it is possible if you buy some altcoins, but it is risky also. So check the price and sell your coins for decent profit. When the coin price is less that is the better time to start trading.

Did you ever thought why active  price actions happens on overlapping sessions? Because Europan/Asian session traders can move both currency and stock market with big amounts. Big guys are looking for edge on the markets, and timing of big moves are mostly related to news of related country/company. Chart is consist of both price and time ;)

Trading in prime time, or strategic times like before turn of the day, many traders are playing at this time, news can appear at any time but trading volumes usually accumulate in just one time, and that is before bedtime. Perhaps many people will say this is just a suggestion, but it really does happen.

hey amigo! if you cannot trade, just start accumulating BTC, ETC, and ETH... keep it and don't think about trading. You would profit anyway, trust me.

I think it's not very easy to trade right now because the price just goes up and doesn't come down. It's hard to buy back in after a sell.

For me i think this time is great time to buy altcoin like DASH, ETH, CLAM, LTC their value was actively fluctuates like bitcoin, we can take advantage of this and we can earn lots of money if you have a big capital for this method.

Of course it's better to buy altcoins as most of altcoins also pump as bitcoin does. Ever since we think that altcoins will dump as bitcoin pump but it's not true. Altcoin will dump if its holders decided tl sell it and it will contimue to pump if its buy orders' demand increases.

How can I make any predictions?
After all, no one could predict a month ago that soon the price of bitcoin would reach such a height as now. When trading cryptocurrency, it's very hard to make predictions. It is necessary to be guided in a situation which occurs now

you can do simple strategy just like what i always did ,
look for top 5 altcoin the most popular among them like eth, dogecoin, dash etc ,
and the moment those altcoin price moving up take it as benefit by buying it ,
follow the up trends and you'll find it's keep rising or go down a little bit (it's the risk taken when get dropped, don't worry)

I'm still taking the first steps at this, but yes, buying some popular altcoins and wait for them to get bumped seems like a good option. Some of them just sky rock from time to time, and give an amazing profit. Ether seems to be rising right now, I think I will by some, and see where it goes.

Hmm, all things do require a mature thinking and plans. Because when someone is doing a step without a definite plan obtained will be long enough to attain, because it is the way that we do not appropriate or very long when the step without a plan. Same is the case with the trade, we have to be clever in analyze and think of something that has not happened or will happen in the future. Only then will we understand the thinking to get victory
 

yes no doubt that bitcoin is trading in its all time high price, but still the price of bitcoin has still good potential and still it is expecting that the price of bitcoin is increasing more and more therefore trading bitcoin is still worth and can give you good profit, but you just need to trade bitcoin for long term investment and not for short term as the market can possibly take a correction and the price can fell down a little, therefore long term investment will be more profitable as compare to short term investment.

There is no right time for trading,even at the peak of it's price, you can buy bitcoin for the long term. So try to get your investment priority first, whether you want to go for a long term investment or short term.

If you want to go for a short term investment, you may want to try arbitrage method. Which is basically buying at one exchange and simultaneously selling at a different exchange with a price difference. However, it required a lot of investment, but the return is also higher and give you a good amount of profit in a very short time.

The right time for trading will always be today. Look at the current price of bitcoin, don't wait for it to reach 5 digits or even 6 digits. If you are not going to get into trading today or bitcoin. You will feel sorry about it in the end.

The digit of the price in bitcoin does not matter because you only wants to become a trader then the price doesn't matter because you are not a holder but you are a trader who trades the price and buy low sell high, if you follow that then you will earn money without having a problem. Everyday is a good time to start trading and any price is good for trading.

I'm saying that it will be a waste of an opportunity if you will see the price of bitcoin at higher price and you don't have any interest on it. And if you are a late comer or investor you will feel sorry that you didn't get into trading for an earlier time. It's always better to go for trading while it is still early.
