Used their service a few days ago. Got nothing. Support is unresponsive.

As of now, consider them a scam.

And put some supporting details for your accusation bitmixer is one of the trusted mixer here so make sure you're telling the truth.

Probably what you can do is produce the necessary documents.

1. Signed message from sending address.
2. The letter of guarantee from bitmixer.
3. The transaction ID of you sending an amount to the address bitmixer gave.

This will prove the transaction is real.

Have you checked the url is real bitmixer.io? Or the url is another phishing url? There were several phishing scam cases, and bitmixer.io is always the best mixer.

I've used them yesterday with a fair amount of Bitcoin. If they were a scam, I'd be in expectancy that they'd have scammed me as well.

Yes, I have the certificate. It shows my payment as confirmed, but after following the trail, there are unconfirmed transactions on their part.

Who do I send it to, since their support does not respond? I'll gladly PM it to one of you as evidence.

Questions:
1) When did you create the transaction?
2) Did your transaction confirm? Did they send a transaction to you (implies an 'Yes' answer to first question)?
3) When did you contact their support?

What "trail" are you following? There is no point to follow the money that you sent. Is there an unconfirmed incoming transaction to your destination address(es)?

Do you have the 'letter of guarantee' that they provided when they told you which address to send to? If so can you post it?

To be fair, they are employing an extortionist, which by default makes them less trustworthy, however the expected behavior of this would be for someone to extort you by threatening to make public the transaction you want private, not to outright steal money from you.

The user has sent me the letter of guarantee that they've received from Bitmixer. It does verify. Following the transaction trail from his own sent money is indeed pointless as Bitmixer sends the amount from one of their own random addresses. In this case there is no transaction at all from the address specified by Bitmixer in the letter of guarantee to the forward address specified by the user.

Weird. I doubt the amount that you've used their service with is beyond trivial. I will ping them.

Thousands of users use bitmixer and you are the only one complaining.You must contact their support and wait for their response.
Sometimes they have high work load and take time to respond.

You need to keep reporting them as phishing to Google. I don't really know why their checks are so easy to mitigate. It happens a lot with wallet providers too (e.g. blockchain.info).

The letter you sent is signed by 1BitmixUUEGGACPeKciTkxr6TaLUnYgekM, meanwhile our address is 1BitmixerEiyyp3eTLaCpgBbhYERs48qza. So it is not our Letter of Guarantee, seems user been scammed by one of phishing websites.

The more reports sent, the faster scammers will be banned. Unfortunately they appear quickly with new domain names.

Oops! I must have messed up somewhere while I was verifying one of my own letters. The signed message is valid, but it is from that address and not the one by you. Anyhow, I'm glad that this has been cleared up. I've updated my previous post which stated that the signed message is valid (while in fact it isn't).

It is probably one of the websites that 'LoyceV' mentioned, although OP could possibly tells us the exact one that he/she used. Time to report.

I was also using Bitmixer for my own transactions around that time. Therefore, I messed up when checking the address from which the message was signed. I'm sorry for dragging this out, as I made a mistake by not double checking.
