Title: Transaction unconfirmed
Post by: hOOPSNAKE on March 05, 2017, 04:37:13 AM
Hi,

I made a transaction on the 27/7 and its still unconfirmed. After doing some research as to why, I've come to the conclusion that its due to the low fee (which was set by Electrum)

Is there any way to increase the fee now that the transaction has started?

Will the coin eventually come through or is their the possibility of it getting lost/disappearing?

Low fee transactions will eventually confirm or fall off the network. It looks like your transaction already has 2 confirmations at this time though!  ;D

The only way to increase the fee after the fact is by using RBF which isn't enable by default in Electrum but can be in the options. I'd recommend you try out the Dynamic fees options which can help simply fees in Electrum. I usually move the slider far to the right for a quick confirmation.
