Hello, I'm completely new... is there some guidance as to how to join / use?
I'm not even quite sure how to configure my miner!
Do you have some recommended links for info?

Thanks!

use the info below in your configuration:

Stratum url: stratum+tcp://107.161.95.108:PORT
username: YOUR WALLET ADDRESS
password: c=COINSYMBOL  <- example c=PI

so in command line [using PiCoin as an example]:
-o stratum+tcp://107.161.95.108:3633 -u WALLETADDRESS -p c=PI

I apologize, I had removed all other coins then XGTC [which I have taken over as dev] while I worked on the codebase for XGTC. However I was having issues with woodcoin payouts not pushing through [likely due to a config issue on my part].
Now that the 2.1.1 wallet has been released for my coin I will be able to give the time needed to fixing the issues at the pool and woodcoin will be featured again soon :)
Again I apologize for any inconvenience.

Just so I am sure, have you or anyone else received a LOG payment from the pool? During anytime you mined there?

<edit>
I believe that the config issue has been resolved and the WOODCOIN portion of the pool is back open in beta testing status :)

Profit and block counts populate automatically over time. Its not something thats added in by hand. Glad the blocks show correctly for you now though 😊

Looking into it right now

@wendigo your screen grab shows your using the hmq1725 mining algo, whereas we dont currently have any hmq1725 coins. Your choice is scrypt, skein2, or blake2s. The mining software featured on the webpage is from when we had hmq1725 coins, and I have been very busy with code, and have not yet updated that section. Using port 5766 it looks like youd like to mine blake2s.... and will need a miner for that algo.

@mrmerson it seems your Password is set to "c=PI" that was for mining picoin when available here. you need to change it to your desired coin "c=XGTC"

I am checking into it, and see exactly what you mean from your link. What is quite strange is that the pool shows many confs on the transactions in question... see below for one example
https://i.imgur.com/3KblaoD.jpg

While trying to figure this out the pool may be up and down a bit while i resync and reindex to try and force through any missing tx's (as a worst case scenario)

<edit>
Another example from within the wallet RPC:
Code:
wood-cli gettransaction cacfd674cb0f35a4cb27716c04921a852d1af838b44d7c4be56996209fd3b84d

Can you please go to the "help" tab in your wallet, followed by the "debug console" and type getinfo. in the information that pops-up is a current block number, can you please let me know what that is to ensure we are at the same block height?
Also .... have you received any new deposits after the ~1.73? The pool is showing an 83 and a 59 LOG transaction within the last few hours to your address.

Hmmmmmm, I know its generally advised not to mine directly to an exchange wallet, however if some have already gone through Im going to assume thats not the issue.
Once I am back at home (about 30-45 mins) I will restart the wallet daemon with a -rescan and hopefully that will help locate the missing tx's and push them through.
What makes this situation quite strange is that generally when there no records transaction that means its sitting in the mempool waiting to be pushed into a block. Which would mean that the confirmations showing on the pool shouldnt exists at all (same with the tx's).
Stranger still the coins are being sent from the wallet (all pool stats in the admin section show successful transfers and smaller balances).
The only situation I can think of that could cause this is that somehow the pool has split to a different chain (this is simply a theory at this point).
To find out if i am correct I will compare some block hashes from the pool with ones from the explorer link you provided.
If all match up and we are still experiencing this issue, then you may need to open a support ticket at the exchange. (Not yet, let me asses things on my end first)

Ok, so it seems the pool had skipped to a different chain, it has been reset, re-synced, and any missing tx's have been sent out of the remaining "good-chain" coins in the wallet. This, however, has sent the pool into a negative balance as it paid out the 'orphan' transactions coins on the good chain ... taking from the pool balance.
All should be well for now, however the payouts will be small until the inbalance is corrected with the pool fees, so all should be well moving forward.

Please keep me updated of any new issues or newly confirmed payments :)

You are absolutely right, and i am mining to the pool wallet to try and speed up the corrections of the inbalance. Somehow we are still not on the correct chain I believe... From the blockexperts site:
First activity    Monday 26th of June 2017 12:33:28
Last activity    Saturday 5th of August 2017 16:56:32
Percentage    0.0009%
Transactions    177
Received    197.28610035 LOG
Send    117.27998038 LOG
Balance    80.00611997 LOG

From my wallet at the pool:
"version": 130200,
  "protocolversion": 60102,
  "walletversion": 130000,
  "balance": 26.61979621,
  "blocks": 558126,
  "timeoffset": 0,
  "connections": 4,

From your wallets mining stats:
   Balance      194.94388476 LOG
   Total Unpaid      198.41624075 LOG
   Total Paid      821.02219871 LOG
   Total Earned      1019.43843946 LOG

Until the issue is resolved and payments are running cleanly, please refrain from mining at our pool [it will need to stay up and running so I am able to test]

Even stranger stilll, when I run a "listaccounts" the "main" account actually shows a negative balance
"main": -692.87244874

.... which shouldnt be possible considering "getinfo" shows coins in the wallet.....

I think I may have it on the correct chain now , and am mining with my personal miners to test. HOWEVR, it is still not ready for mining, once i am sure its on the correct chain I will mine to the pool wallet with as many miners as i can set up to correct the imbalance. Untill the payouts have been rectified I DO NOT advise mining LOG at my pool.

Exactly right, once i managed to correct the inbalance all should send correctly , as long as there are no conflicting transactions/blocks.

Yes its definitely just me on the pool doing a few megahashes, I currently run only AMD cards, and as far as I know there is no AMD miner yet for skein2. So I have asked a good friend to loan me a few NVIDIA cards so I can get this done faster, however untill then I only have the few cpu's I have kicking around my house lol.
I am still not 100% sure thing are running correctly, so although I really appreciate you offer to help mine, I wouldnt want you to waste your hashpower if the pool is still having issues.

Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to 107.161.95.108 port 5233: Connection refused
seems to be working on my end
Code:
[2017-08-07 23:51:10] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://107.161.95.108:5233
[2017-08-07 23:51:10] 3 miner threads started, using 'skein2' algorithm.
[2017-08-07 23:51:10] Stratum difficulty set to 0.02
[2017-08-07 23:51:43] accepted: 1/1 (100%), 23.57 MH, 1209.87 kH/s yes!
[2017-08-07 23:53:47] accepted: 2/2 (100%), 41.00 MH, 1266.48 kH/s yes!
Maybe try with a higher diff (for GPU) using c=LOG,d=DIFF where DIFF is the difficulty you would like to use.

You are absolutely right, i crashed my laptop and have had to use my miner as a build pc for some XGTC fixes. Aas soon as i am off work (8pm est) i will switch it back over. Also, as stated earlier as soon as my work check comes in i will be topping uo the pool to correct the imbalance and all should be well again 😊

I do see that, and am convinced that somehow I am still on the wrong chain. I will be shutting down the woodcoin portion of the pool for now and working on it in the background until I am able to top up the pool, and ensure all transactions are going through correctly. Again I apologize for the inconvenience and hope to be up again very soon.

Ok, so the current status is as such:
I believe we are now on the correct chain, and I am cashing in holdings of some other altcoins to be able to pay the owed coins. Once we had switched to the wrong chain, any coins mined on that chain technically do not exist, which is why they never made it to your wallet. However, while we were on the correct chain you absolutely did mine up a balance that is still owed to you.
Here is a screen shot of the current pool stats [in the admin section] to show the outstanding coins on the correct chain:
https://i.imgur.com/ULdLoI8.png
Once I have acquired enough BTC from my other holdings, I will use that to buy the LOG you are owed, and it will be sent from an exchange wallet to ensure that there are no issues with you receiving them.
Again I apologize for the lengthy timeframe while I try and work out exactly how this happened, and while I cash out my other holdings. [POT, PI, DASH, etc.]

Sadly no, with approximately 1275.32268 LOG created each day, that would have meant nearly all other miners had dropped off and you had pulled nearly a full days worth of blocks alone. Which makes far more sense knowing now that we were mining on our own chain... separate from all other miners. However, you are absolutely still owed ~1/3 of that amount, which is quite good for a day :)  may I ask what your using to mine with? multi gpu setup?

Awesome :D
I build 5-6 card rigs for friends and customers, but currently only rock 2 280x's my self..... hydro pricing sucks in my area.
I have good news however, I have a partial payment of approx 50% of your owed coins ready for you, I just want to ensure WkUUHG2zDC4SeRSLzTM9wf9aQxuo3hHhKJ is the correct address before sending, also I am waiting on a few more altcoin orders to go through and will have the rest. At which point I will be resetting the pool stats [only after all owed coins are paid] and making some changes in the backend of the pool that should hopefully prevent this issue in the future :)

These were sent directly from my own c-cex account, and as such are not reflected on the pool. I will be resetting the stats manually, but only after you have been fully paid back the missing coins. That way we can both be sure all is fair.

Yes that is the plan, there is still some minor adjustments I need to make in the backend once all is paid, but the hope is to be up before long and running at full speed again :)

<edit>
@lyolyalya
You have ~324-160 = 164 LOG outstanding at this point. I am simply putting this here to have a fair, publicly viewable record of this as I will be pulling down and rebuilding the pool, with much more focus on avoiding chain splits as much as possible, aswell as better DDOS security as we seem to have had some "interesting" traffic over the past few days.
This process will likely take a few days as I will be restarting from a fresh clean server, and using things I have learned since it was first built, hopefully making a nicer stringer pool for all to use. Once this is finished I will update here and LOG should be running happily again :)

50 more sent from the pool wallet, 164 - 50 = 114 LOG remaining [need to test the wallet to ensure they make it to you]

You are absolutely correct, as we are running on a clean database, with a clean new wallet, I believe the issue is that generated transactions require 120 confirms to be considered valid.
 On a long running pool the pool fees build up a buffer to be used to pay these coins after a much smaller number of confs, (around 10 instead if LOGs 120).
As we have just reopened, I believe we are just waiting on this first round to fully confirm and credit.
However, I would again recommend against using the pool untill I am 100% sure that I am correct on this.
Normally I would reach out to other LOG pool owners for some advice, but currently I think all others are down aswell....

<edit>
I hadnt seen the attached image, bad cell connection, I see now what you mean. I will be home momentarily and will look into the backend again.

<edit 2>
Ok, so looking at the admin panel, the coins have absolutely populated in the pool wallet, and are still in the process of confirming. However the actual "sendtoaddress" portion is not working correctly and thats why there are no txids.... the coins werent actually sent as the transaction failed. They have been re-added to your balance and I am working on a fix now :)

Please check and see if you have a transaction on its way, Explorer link (https://explorer.woodcoin.org/tx/8d7335ebdf60425d62d124d837395bbcccf01386e932e9c8defa63dac58e4fe2) I have used https://explorer.woodcoin.org as an impartial explorer as we are still unsure about the one at my pool
it's fine.11 log in my wallet already.

Ok that is great to hear. I will be at work very soon, but will be checking in on it on my breaks and keepong a close eye as soon as i am back home. Hopefully that was the last of the issues and we can all mine happily now, however please consider the skein2 portion of the pool to still be in beta as more testing is done.

next tx is pending now with 2 confirmations...seems like it goes on finally.
without mining there is no testing i guess=)

sadly I dont think that is the issue, although I appreciate the assistance :)
the only thing in that commit is:
Code:
rm -f algos/ar2/*.o
in the makefile. as I do not use argon2 I dont think this would effect the skein2 functionality. I believe it is an issue in my config, however what confuses me a little is that nothing has changed since it worked and sent a few payments [see above]. I believe there may be a lag somewhere between the stratum and my daemons, causing payments to time out.

I believe I may have fixed the issue once again,

I am offering a 5000XGTC bounty to anyone who can write a small PHP addon for the yiimp explorer page. It needs to aquire and display 'moneysupply' from the wallets getinfo command, and update with each block found.
Please reply with "reserve bounty" if you are interested

@benwinkey looking at your ICO wallet.... thats a BTC address... if it was PRT it would start with a 'P'.
And as stated by CryptoPhilanthropist this coin never had an ICO.

The particle portion of the pool is in beta currently as we test all configurations to ensure they are correct. :)

@lyolyalya I am currently working on small updates to the wallet code so a new version will be out soon, I will NOT be the dev of this coin, just helping out :)

Lol no to mine and test and config changes. And looking at the stats for your wallet , the last populated earnings was 85 minutes ago, so it seems the frontend is lagging . I am working on it and hopefully everything should catch up very soon.

i stoped mining 90 min ago...so time is right.seems like pool is missed a portion of block or something...or...maybe my miner give the wrong numbers...
and one more thing...founded blocks appears on pools page and wallet page after 10-20 minutes.why so?i noticed it on a log pool too...
right now PRT blocktime is 5 secs but pool says that last block was found 14 minutes ago...

I have noticed the same, I believe there is a setting somewhere for how often the frontend updates the stats [like nomp or mpos] but I have not found it yet. It does not seem to be in the "serverconfig" like most of the other settings, and I have yet to find it in my small customization through the rest of the code.
Once I do I will ensure to set it to a more manageable number like 3-5 mins.

with 90+% of shares but pool shows me only 13...

they are showing in earnings

while pool is showing all blocks fine
http://img.techpowerup.org/170905/92c31apgjk950.jpg
so i'm pretty sure that pool is missing a lot of blocks...

Post by: l8nit3 on September 05, 2017, 07:18:14 PM
You are correct about the stats being laggy, however I do not believe [but could be wrong] that it is a "missed" block issue. If you look at the pictures you sent, the "last 50 earnings" stat is only showing those 36+ minutes old, whereas your stats for your mining show much newer blocks [newest being 10 minutes] so there are at least 19 blocks still confirming [as of 10 minutes ago] and still waiting to be added to the "last 50" stat.

I will continue to keep a close eye however, and hopefully new code will be released very soon that might speed things up a little bit.
From the backend of the pool:
Quote
1327 blocks checked, 0 missed by the backend
1327 confirmed blocks verified

if your wallet is Ps7irKn14iAoGjAgKUDvaX7d6Vb1Mar1JT, then the last currently populated block found that you were a part of was 3676638, Anything after that is still populating in the backend to be displayed in the front end. This means there is a minimum of 20 blocks not shown yet, between then and when you stopped mining.
Have you received any payments from the pool? If so then we are absolutely on the same chain, otherwise nothing would ever make it through...

Ok, just to ensure I understand the issue correctly:
-The stats on the pool all match each other
-Your miner claims more blocks found then shown on pool
-Payments do go through, just not matching the amount claimed by miner.

Is this correct?

Is this correct?
1.stats on pool match with my founded blocks.
2.miner tells me 50 blocks.but wallet tells me only 13.
3.payments are fine with that 13 blocks.

so the problem is on block found stage.

i can repeat the test with a smaller amount of blocks.let's say - 10?

Ok, this is the issue I believe, when your miner says "yay!' that is not a BLOCK found, it is a SHARE found. shares add up together and make your payment. This is very common in pool mining, do you normally solo mine? if so that could be the confusion.... solo mining only submits blocks... not shares.

To break it down a bit:
When mining at a pool, all miners want to be paid for all of their work, not just when they find a block. This is why the share submission system was made "Proof-of-Work.
Essentially, all miners submit shares at whatever their best difficulty is. These shares add up untill they make a "full diff" share. Eg two shares at 0.5 diff = 1 full share.
When a larger miner finds a block, the pool splits the reward based on each miners total shares for that block or round (round is for pplns "pay per last 'n' shares")
Most mining software will actually show "Block found for pool x" when finding a full block

if it so - why pool says that with my 162 Mhs blocktime is 3-4 sec.look at time at yays appear.that's from 10 sec to few minutes.
and same miner on skein2 shows me that
http://img.techpowerup.org/170906/k7dmpdonxr.jpg

first number - block. second - accepted share,third - total shares.

When a larger miner finds a block, the pool splits the reward based on each miners total shares for that block or round (round is for pplns "pay per last 'n' shares")
Most mining software will actually show "Block found for pool x" when finding a full block
i mine log on your pool with no issues with the same miner.
and ccminer hasn't such message.

and the most important.while i mined  pool shows that it was found 10 or so blocks.even if i was found 1 block by myself it has to be 10 blocks with my % of shares.cause pool has 2 miners.me 162 mhs and someone other with 5-7 mhs...i can't mine blocks to another pool cause there is make no sense to do many pools for one coin i guess...

6 mhs and block time is 61 sec...
http://img.techpowerup.org/170906/yvlzrhbio7.jpg

with 162 mhs it can't be just shares...

I apologize as i am not familiar with ccminer as i do not mine Nvidia. I thought the displayed stats SAT  were sent, accepted, and total. Once i am back home i will block the PRT port and have a looj at the wallet and pool log files and see were the discrepancy may be.

All Coins will be disabled untill payments clear, then pool will be down for backend upgrades and security patches. Hopefully this will fix any statistics issues and findblocks issues for any and all coins.

UPDATE
LOG is currently re-opened in beta status during testing of our new setup :) PRT and XGTC will be up soon :)

<edit>
All pools are open in beta status while we test the new config :) Happy mining

POOLS DOWN DUE TO YIIMP BASED HACK More info (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2163058)

UPDATE
LOG and XGTC are back up and running for now, we are still waiting on a full fix, however site security has been updated and all wallets changed. Please ensure to set failover pools in case a fix is released soon and need to be applied to the pool.

We were hit again last night and once again XGTC was drained
Quote
Balance (db) 2613.792411 XGTC, Owned -20704.13048162 XGTC, Owed 2931.825000 XGTC (0.00028732 BTC), 20953.547893 XGTC cleared

Each time this has happened I have funded the pool from my pocket to ensure all coins continue to be paid out and to allow the pool to continue running. However, I have burned through approx 300k coins doing this, and am down to ~30k in my personal wallet, so it is no longer a viable option to fund it personally.

At this time I have no choice to pull the XGTC portion of the pool and do dome serious investigating to find the entry point. Please push hash to blockmonsta pool or lpool.name for the time being.

Both PRT and LOG were unaffected, this leaves one of two scenarios as I see it. Either they are unable to access the other coins which is why they only go for XGTC.... or they have a grudge against XGTC. Once I have more answers I will update all here.

Also vertcoin has been removed due to resource limit issues, untill we can move to a larger server

There is much work going on in the background as we switch to a loadbalanced setup with multiple servers for better stability.
The eventual goal is a unomp setup for most coins, small yiimp setup for the newer algos and woodcoin, and a znomp based zcash pool. But this will take a fair bit of time and work before reaching that goal :)

And any server should do for yiimp, but if you want many coins you must have many cpu cores and alot of ram. Minimum 8 cores and 8gb

Not this minute no, however I am working hard on it now. As for a build tutorial, there isnt much of one, but if you google "crombiecrunch yiimp install script" it will do most of the install for you. BE CAREFUL though, many things can go wrong with pool ownership, and maintaining it can take hours or even days. And I recommend using the script as more of a tutorial, not actually using it for install. That way you are doing each part yourself and learning along the way :)

You are 100% correct and I am aware of the issue. I have all the base config setup, and now am just working on increasing stability. My current issue is finding the best and most stable keepalive settings for my ssh tunnels. I will be working on it all day today to find the best and most stable settings :) I apologize for any inconvenience and will be back as soon as possible

All YIIMP mining will be paused while we work on implementing a better solution for our stability issues

We have located the cause of the stability issues and a new solution has been applied. Each pool is being re-opened one at a time to ensure stability. Please report any issues and i will solve them ASAP 😊
Happy Mining 😁

Yes, the eventual goal is to enable profit switching and auto exchange, and to be able to do this we need multiple coins per algo. If you have better suggestions for scrypt [or any algo really] coins I would love to hear them :)
At this time coin listings are still free however very soon I will be charging a set rate of 25$ USD in BTC for a listing. I feel this will help weed out some of the sh*tcoins.

LUXCoin mining has been enabled in beta status
-a phi -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.l8nit3-miners.com:8333 -u LLo4A9KjLgGRQD2S2mxdTi17fn4LJpSzC1 -p c=LUX

Happy mining!

Pool fees have just been lowered to match yiimp.eu :) now 2% instead of 3. #GetMining

HUSH and ZEN removed due to lack of miner interest. More de-listings to come, followed by new coin additions.

<edit>
BOAT, MONA, and DASH also removed due of lack of miner interest.

it's a pitty...if you will enable autoexchange then mona+vtc will be interesting for mining.

This is definitely possible in the future, I am currently working on getting XGTC3.0 running and release ready, after which there are planned coin additions and some small updates for the pool :).

On a side note to all users:
On this Saturday November 4th we will be down for a short while as the server is being physically moved to a new location. During this time there will also be some small changes and upgrades to increase stability and security :)
PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE USING FAILOVER POOLS to avoid downtime :)

Sadly at this time I cannot, these are the accepted exchanges available in the yiimp code
Code:
define('EXCH_BITTREX_SECRET', '<my_bittrex_api_secret_key>');
define('EXCH_BITSTAMP_SECRET','');
define('EXCH_BLEUTRADE_SECRET', '');
define('EXCH_BTER_SECRET', '');
define('EXCH_CCEX_SECRET', '');
define('EXCH_COINMARKETS_PASS', '');
define('EXCH_CRYPTOPIA_SECRET', '');
define('EXCH_EMPOEX_SECKEY', '');
define('EXCH_HITBTC_SECRET', '');
define('EXCH_KRAKEN_SECRET','');
define('EXCH_LIVECOIN_SECRET', '');
define('EXCH_NOVA_SECRET','');
define('EXCH_POLONIEX_SECRET', '');
define('EXCH_YOBIT_SECRET', '');

On a side note, we have added argon2d support at unomp.l8nit3-miners.com for CRDS in beta testing at this time. Currently I am working with a few people to get a better standalone cpu miner running and to ensure the unomp argon2d module is working correctly [these are all mods and as such may be buggy]

The server was being physically moved to a new location, and as such mining was down for a short time. The migration has been completed and some new updates were applied to the backend code [commits from tpruvot].

This new update deals with orphan blocks, and has caused some issues with blocks previously determined as "orphan" now being payable, and vice versa. Some paid blocks were later determined to be orphan.

I have rolled back the update in an effort to repair any issues caused by the new code, and LOG is currently showing a negative balance [due to previous orphans now being determined to be valid]. The issue is known and I am fixing as quickly as possible, also all pool fees are now dumping back into the pool to equalize the discrepancies. Currently only LOG and LUX were effected.

Also I have updated LUX to the newest 3.0 version that was just released.  This is supposed to be a major upgrade that fixes many issues.

Its possible the pool is clearing those with the highest balances first while the "equalization" mentioned above is taking place. Either way I am on it now, and thank you for reporting :)

This is normal at this time, the cause of this is the imbalance I spoke of earlier in the thread. Basically, as the coins come in they are being split between users, however with the negative imbalance there isnt enough to fully pay every users balance [yet]. As such, the pool is paying the largest balances possible [while still weighting based on share submission] using the available balance + pool fees which are currently dumping directly back into the pool wallet to help speed up the correction. The minute the pool balance has equalized, full size payments will begin again.

Also to help prevent this in the future, I have setup a VM copy of the pool for testing new yiimp commits before actually pushing them to the pool, and possibly causing issues such as this.
Thank you for your patience, and your assistance with reporting issues :)

I apologize, I have been working nearly non-stop lately for extra holiday money, and as such have not been able to give the pool the proper attention it deserves. I have initiated the payments manually for all available coins in the wallet. You should see a payment shortly :)

I will be dedicating some time this weekend to updating the pool code and applying a few more bugfixes. After the release of XGTC 3.0 wallet, I will be taking down the pool for a full rebuild on both servers, aswell as adding some upgrades to the large server for stability and to allow for greater expansion of the pool and the supported coins :)

also is iQVBarS4S9LVr3oAbxZSCzhmBWsbjLqZhy a valid LOG address?? or are there missing sections?

where you get LOG profitabilty now?is it manual exrate or something? cause price is twice lower than week ago, net hashrate is preety the same, but profit is extrimely high now and i think it isn't real...
right now pool has 5.4 GH with 8 min for block.in the best case - there is 180 blocks*1.517=273 LOG(24h).my percent is 40% average so there is 109 LOG*1600sat=0.00174509 BTC.this is 30$ or something.i get real 71 LOG. during last 24H.so this is fine with that difficulty drops and raisings.right now Miner control shows me 60$.so there is twice larger profit...it seems like price in your profit is set manually to 3000 sat per LOG or something...
