SEC's decision will come out now. Whatever the result just think of it as a normal events that happen in bitcoin journey. After all we can see bitcoin continues to go into the moon.

Forget about Stupid profits??? profit is profit .  That is why i will be glued today until SEC news in i guess in 5-6 hours. If it is a no then i will sell ASAP some of my BTC to buy them back at lower price. Cause the price will for sure go down, 100-300 USD down.

And if it gets approved then i will for sure hold on tight and try to ride it to the top

Maybe OP is talking about not to sold at the current price just for profits and expect that price increase will happen after this SEC decision. Kinda agree although my other side is pushing me to sold at the current rate. But a no as I will wait for the price movement first after the decision be made even approve or not.

Not so easy. You need to take a decision before the news hit, cause by the time news hit it will be too late, so it's a gamble.

If you sell now, you may lose a lot of money depending on how much you sell.

If you buy now and it doesn't pass, you may also lose a lot of money.

It all comes down to LUCK.

Regardless of whatever happening, I am always holding a large portion of my coins for the very long term. I have a different stash of coins that I use for trading purposes to increase the number of coins that I have. This whole ETF speculation cycle offers a welcome bit of volatility that people on their turn can exploit to the full (assuming they underatand how). Trading is obviously not a fun game....

I will never sell my bitcoin until I see huge crash.
So quick profits don't affect me. Just think about future guys.

Not a good idea you will just lose opportunity when the price is high.. if you sell when crash like now we are in $1200 level if its crash into $1000 you sell and then the price is going to crash more until 800 value you lose the opportunity that the price was touch at $1300..

Another side of bitcoin obviously, not only to hold but many people looking for profits and buy back at cheaper price.
That's why SEC rejected winklevoss ETF, bitcoin market cap still not enough to prevent manipulative acts, if investors invest on bitcoin and the next week the price suddenly crash such as happened before when some exchanges got hacked. That's why we need more adjustments and upgrades for bitcoin community.

Traders who sell when the price is tanking are doing the exact opposite of what they should be doing, which is BUYING.  You can't buy low and sell high if you're selling low.  If I had more money, I'd be buying a lot.  I think what we're seeing is the ETF speculators dropping out, but I think we'll rebound soon enough.

Yep. Buy low sell high. Better yet, tanking bitcoins? Buy. Rising bitcoins? Hang on forever. That's how I do it and I've got a decent stash now because of it.

Like I said above,I think OP was pointing about the profits mentioned if people will sold at a certain rate without eyeing for a long term goal.

Basically if we will reconstruct the sentence, forget the profit at selling at the current because there will be another round of price increase. If I will take it to the reality, ETF is just another bunch of FUD that just lasted for hours and now look at the current price rate as it seems nothing.

If approved happened, expect a price increase. If rejected expect a price decreased but the bounce back recovered easily. With the current price rate today, it's just like a normal price decrease that happened days ago.

Surly I believe the price will climb higher and higher. Experts predict bitcoin the greatest future and the price over 5000$. So, I am planning to save a part of my weekly bitcoins to not skip that chance.
