paysafe->virwox.com=X ammount of euros-20%->convert to linden(-(50linden+3%commision))->buy bitcoin(again,commision)->transfer to btc-e.You lose 30% of your money,so dunno,but it's a very quick way,if you can find paydafe cards

edit: Isee you have paypal so you won't lose the 20%.just the commision costs.

I've been buying my bitcoins on coinbase since they do direct bank transfers for USA residents.

Yes, at times more. 2-3 days is standard in ACH. Coinbase is slower.

'simplest' way I found was open a btc-e.com account
then there are various options to fund, some weird looking russian sites never heard of, so safest most established site I found was okpay.com
join there
verify account, just upload scan of drivers licence and other things they ask for, a bill etc
you get verified normaly withing a day or so

then fund account with bank transfer, takes afew days
when you click fund account via transfer their details are supplied and theres a unique identifier for your account
make sure when sending money to them this number is the refernce number
they will then fund your account into the wallet

if you're sending US$ it will go into say wallet 1
they do take some time, maybe 3/4/5 days to clear it
but from what i can see are a trustworthy site

once you have funds in okpay account
loginto btc-e and click fund account via okpay, go straight to okpay account and the money will basically instantly go into btc-e.com account
withing a minute or so

you can then start buying and selling

Before using btc-e you might consider reading a posts that report not so good experience with this site,
e.g. https://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,2171.0.html

There are many other ways to buy the coins, previous posters mention a couple of ways.
