Looks like the another lykke project. Can you tell me about the interesting things on the safex project? Because it seems like the common project for me. Too many decentralized marketplace in this day.

Never heard of Lykke, and after looking on its website.. I'm sure we have nothing in common.

it definitely looks hugely promising..pretty sure the developer from MAID is working on this so thats got me intrigued. I think they'll have a big summer as the new wallet is dropping sometime soon (I think in a week or less?) and progress is definitely happening.

The dev from maid doesnt work on Safex. When the chile blockchain of safex is released they will be completely seperated. In the past safex used the blockchain of Maid but they voted for an own blockchain. Dev teams are completely seperated

there is even typo on the website that hasn't been fixed for a long time. How can I trust this project?

This is definitely not accurate. They lost the dev working on the wallet and are currently in the process of finding a new one. the main dev of the project said it would be atleast two weeks. Keep in mind the last 2 times the wallet was 'coming' there was a delay. Do your own DD.

Hello to everyone, so glad to share our development update with you all it has been an extraordinary and eventful month!!

Please read patiently, quite a bit to take in :wink:

First of all I am so proud to say that we have formalized an entity from which to develop called: Safex Developers d.o.o a company in Serbia. In addition, that makes us the first company that is financed in crypto currencies in the country. More about that will be announced in the press around the world in the coming weeks.

Since our last update we were eagerly awaiting the Safex wallet release; however, due to my overlooking structure and simply engaging a developer without a formal contract and payment agreement led to some disagreements over terms and a strong distrust. Considering how sensitive the software we are building I took the executive decision to discontinue working with that developer.

Now to mitigate this problem in the future, we will follow the policy that our developers will always need a contractual agreement that clearly outlines their responsibilities and rewards as well as penalties for failing to meet the contractual obligations. In addition we've opened an office in the best office building in Belgrade, Serbia and we have already begun to introduce ourselves and retain talent to bring this globe changing technology to completion.

You could see the first day that we signed the lease which took place literally 8 days ago. Pictured is Pavle our front end developer and our attorney who is representing the development company.

This week we've closed an agreement with a designer who will take our messaging and presentation layer to completely new levels. Here is a website that he worked on under extreme pressure; and still turned outstanding and won tons of recognition. He is super enthusiastic for crypto currency and our project especially, and our team is super enthusiastic about him. I look forward to the community's approval in the coming weeks :wink:

Furthermore, we are the leading specialists in the city, and even the country in crypto currency by years of experience and success under our belts that is why we are leading that charge full steam ahead to responsibly bring the crypto advantage to Belgrade, Serbia.

It seems to me that bittrex is the one without which you need to deal and not one user will not regret it. To date, you can consider many options, but exactly what you are looking for really is on this exchange. It is a pity that only they do not show other markers, and it's unclear why.

Long hold,  wait till the chille blockchain is launched.
And the chille coins are distributed under the safex holders.
After that you can earn money just by holding safex in the wallet.i will hold for at least 6 months to a year

Hello Safex Community Team!

So far this week has been highly eventful. We have wrapped up the affiliate system backend so it is just awaiting the front end development to be completed which at that time we can merge my project and Pavle’s and push the website update along with the new affiliate system.

Since I will be traveling on Wednesday to Dubai and then to Singapore the launch of the website will be take place in December to give us enough run way to launch it correctly. So this is a great opportunity to meet and represent to many heavy hitters in business while in Singapore. Whereas the event in Dubai will be more introduction to new people who are becoming interesting in Cryptocurrencies.

Furthermore, alongside the website update will be launch of the initial whitepaper of Safex. The emission curve research for the distribution of the Safex (cash credits bucks (whatever)) is wrapping up completely. This means we will have stake in the ground on this matter. This is part of what separates our economy from 100% of coins on the market today and the underlying mechanism will lead to the greatest value cryptocurrencies have seen so far.

Most notably, progress on blockchain development is going very well in that I have a local network that is establishing connection and sharing blocks. And transaction signing is taking place. I am working on the proof of work miner component so that blocks are created as part of mining rather than a timer (this is for testing). However this is fantastic news in terms of progressing on Alpha release.

In addition, we have a bitcoin atm arrived to the customs house and when it clears we’ll start vending Safex coins for cash via the atm, that’ll be a great breakthrough :+1:

A summary of this weeks Safex Community Voice chat. Thanks to all those who attended. I know it was very short notice, but we managed to get quite a few in attendance.

A few points discussed:

 
Alpha Blockchain Development

The Alpha Blockchain is roughly 80% complete and will be due for a closed test during the month of December.

In its current state the nodes are talking to each other but in very specific environments. The next phase will factor in different hosting environments and network configurations.

Mining will be implemented once the early tests have been done.

 
PR Agency

Daniel had an interesting meeting with the PR Agency on the 20th. They are keen to be involved with Safex.

At this stage they are still researching the crypto market and discussing ideas with Daniel. If everything is in agreement they will kick off the PR campaign at the beginning of 2018.

It will be a rolling monthly contract and they will act behind the scenes, meaning Daniel will let them crack on with promoting Safex to traditional non-crypto audiences, but we won’t be hearing about it day to day.

New Marketing staff

Daniel mentioned that he has recently hired two new staff to work on the “Guerrilla Marketing” of Safex. Unsure exactly what role these staff will play but off-site SEO was mentioned elsewhere on the Discord channel.

It’s speculated that the two staff are members of the Safex Community. Unsure exactly who they are at this stage.

 
Website Redesign Launch

We had a brief discussion about the upcoming website redesign. It sounds like the only thing left to do is integrate the affiliate back-end system in with the website front-end system.

As Daniel is away for the next few days, he felt it wasn’t safe to assist Pavle on this remotely as it could cause issues. He would prefer to do it in person to avoid any potential day-zero bugs.

 
Safex Whitepaper
It was confirmed that the whitepaper will be launched at the same time as the website re-design and affiliate system.

The contents of the whitepaper were discussed but only at a high level.

 
Affiliate system

Some interesting notes about the affiliate system. The process will be semi-automated to help save time on administration.
Daniel mentioned that the previous Buy Safex system on the website was heavily inflated to deter people from buying, whilst he developed the new system

However, people still bought in which gave him confidence that the new process will be very successful.

 
Billionaire Asia Singapore Event

Daniel will be attending the MillionaireAsia Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Summit in Singapore on November the 29th.

At this event, Daniel will be highlighting the benefits and need for Crypto-Commerce, and its road to mass adoption.

Keynote speakers at the event includes Wall Street Investment Legend, Jim Rogers, along with a number of crypto and blockchain heavyweights.

The event will be attended by hundreds cryptocurrency investors and the media.

Makes no sense... I thought safex has a max. supply of 2,1 billion coins that are already available.
If it's possible to mine safex coins later on what will be the max supply?

Did i misunderstood the coin? If it will be possible to mine and earn more coins it will lose the strengh it got right now. Just my opinion.

Does anyone know anything about mining safex or was it just a wrong interpretaion from kawacaki?
