Thats the good thing about BTC. If you don't want to have your BTC transactions traceable then there are measures you can take to make sure it stays anonymous. Its not easy, but it is possible.

Current ones are admittedly pretty crappy, but it's possible to build one which breaks the transaction chain, completely disassociating your payment from your addresses.
