Title: Looking to sell my XMR for BTC
Post by: Davkul on March 13, 2017, 06:28:40 PM
I got like 3.80368998 XMR and I'm looking for BTC.
I'd use Shapeshift.io but somehow that "option" is unavailable.

I'll do .05 BTC right now with the risk of a price move straight up, you go first.. I'll send as soon as it confirms..

Or I will exchange it for -5% of whatever the actual #s come out to after I dump it.. With or without the added cost and complexity of escrow..

If you believe there's a chance of price crashing then there's no point in buying at all.
I haven't made a huge profit, and with that offer I'd rather keep my xmr. Also "I'll send as soon as it confirms" sounds sketchy as hell, you can't reverse a transaction after you send it so I don't see why you would need to wait for confirmations. You can't predict how long transactions can take to get confirmed, it can take hours.
I wouldn't go first with such a low rate and a high risk of getting scammed, remember xmr is an untraceable coin.

Thanks for the offer but I'll pass.

The point of buying alts is to make more BTC either by trading or arbing, I would do this only to make a few satoshis.. Their is always a HUGE chance of any one of them crashing at any second..

Good luck with your exchange..

Edit: after some research, I'm suspicious you got your little trust there from a hacked account for many reasons and your posts are full of outright refusing to use escrow..

you can't reverse a transaction after you send it

Uh, yes you can..

Just use changelly! I have never had problems with them
