The problem is the people using it. Then, it seems that getting rid of Mt. Gox is trying to solve the wrong problem. The problem is the people using it. Then, it seems that getting rid of Mt. Gox is trying to solve the wrong problem. Agreed. Instead, people need to understand why centralization is bad, and understand the repercussions of what will happen if Mt Gox remains the most popular exchange (that being, incredible volatility and an easy source to, for lack of a better term, fuck with Bitcoin and its value.) Mt Gox is only providing a service; outside from providing a less than quality service, they're doing no wrong.
